It has been an incredible year for Conor McGregor, and the UFC champion has just received the recognition he so richly deserves.

The mixed martial arts champ has been named as RTÉ’s Sportsperson of the Year.

Giving a ‘victory’ interview to RTÉ Sport presenter Clare MacNamara, Conor was his typical modest self!

“It’s good to be on top, it’s good to be two-weight world champion. It’s been an amazing year, a learning year for me; a rollercoaster of a year with many ups and many downs,” he admitted.

“I’m happy now, I came out strong at the end of it, and here I am standing tall.”

The honour came just months after Conor became the first UFC fighter to hold two titles at once: the Lightweight and Featherweight titles.

Conor’s star is ablaze all over the world, and he now even has his own range of ‘Notorious’ emojis!

Topping off a stellar year, of course, was the news that he is set to become a father, with girlfriend Dee Devlin expecting the couple’s first child.

A well-deserved victory here, we reckon. Congrats, Conor!

Singer CeeLo Green took to Facebook in the early hours of this morning to assure fans that he is ‘alive and well’, after a video emerged of his phone blowing up in his face.

The footage, captured while the Crazy singer was sitting in a recording studio, shows smoke billowing out of the phone as CeeLo sits before the mixing desk.

All of a sudden, there’s a spark, then the phone explodes into flames. A shocked CeeLo is seen falling out of his chair and collapsing onto the floor.

Needless to say, fans of the star were concerned for his welfare after the terrifying incident – but CeeLo took to Facebook Live shortly after, to reveal that the whole thing was a STUNT!

"Actually what you saw today was a clip from a smaller video that we were shooting for a new project I'm doing called Gnarly Davidson. It's supposed to set up and introduce the new character identity," he revealed.

“I just want to let everybody know that I am alive and I’m well, and I’m OK. Truthfully, I’m really upset that anybody had to be emotionally disturbed by what they saw today,” he added.

Well, that just adds a whole new meaning to your phone ‘blowing up’, doesn’t it? Sorry, we couldn’t resist!

It all went down on Instagram late last night, after a hacker broke in to Blac Chyna’s networks and shared some pretty damning information with the public.

It seems as though it’s all over for Rob and Chyna, after messages criticising the Kardashian and hinting at Chyna’s plans to make money from the famous family were shared.

The hacker began the tirade: “I have all the messages with Chyna and her lawyer on how her plan was to marry Rob and trademark the name Kardashian, and texts saying that was the only way to do it and that she is then going to win.”

Sadly, the hacker stayed true to their word and published the lot.

Messages included flirty texts to rapper Young Thug and singer Jaden Smith. One exchange, with best friend Treasure, describes how Chyna planned to ‘stack her money’ until she could split from Rob.

“I will just trademark it then…I’m not going to ask Kris. Is it easier when I’m married?” she asks, in one particular message.

Another, levelled at Rob, reads: “He’s lazy, fat, and insecure. I’mma give Rob one year to get it together or I’m gone.”

Poor Rob has been left ‘heartbroken’ by the leak, and took to Instagram to share a candid message.

In it, he revealed that Chyna has now left their home – and taken their one-month-old daughter, Dream, with her.
