The term “I need my beauty sleep” is actually a real thing as sleep plays a huge role in how you look. Not only is it important for good skin it will also make your hair and eyes look younger and healthier.

Follow these steps to get the most out of your beauty sleep:

Sleep on your back
Avoid sleeping on your stomach as it causes you to put pressure onto your skin which results in wrinkles. Try to sleep on your back.

Use a moisturiser
Apply an anti-ageing night cream to your face before you go to sleep. This will help to smooth down wrinkles and keep your face soft and supple. Creams and moisturisers work better at night so make sure you rub a little balm onto your lips as well.

Tie your hair up
The oils in your hair can transfer onto your face if you sleep with your hair down so tie it up. Don’t pull it too tightly though as you will just end up with split ends.

Sleep on a silk pillowcase
If you can, try to sleep on a silk pillowcase as it glides along your skin rather than bunching. Remember to change your pillowcases regularly so you’re not sleeping on a build up of bacteria.

Most of us have a LinkedIn profile but very few of us really know how to use it to its full potential.

However, if you are on the job hunt, here are some great tips you can use to get your dream job:

It is more than a normal CV
LinkedIn is a great way to show off your skills so avoid clichés and try to be a little bit creative with it. You can upload videos, presentations websites so use it to its full capacity.

Make yourself searchable
When recruiters or companies are looking for candidates they usually just do a quick keyword search. Make sure you use your headline to its full potential and make yourself stand out in searches.

Follow the companies you want to work for
If you have a dream to work for a particular company follow them. This way you will be updated if someone leaves or if they are hiring. You might also discover someone you already know is working there – connect with them and see where it takes you.

If you don’t show off yourself, nobody else is.

Holly Willoughby said it was ‘horrible’ having to keep her pregnancy secret from the world.

The This Morning presenter – who tweeted the good news last Friday – spoke for the first time about the pregnancy on the show yesterday.

The 33-year-old already has two children with her TV producer husband, Dan Baldwin – four-year-old Harry and two-year-old Belle.

Talking to co-host Christine Bleakley, Holly explained that her oldest child is over the moon to meet his new brother or sister.

“When Belle came along, Harry was not even two yet, so he didn’t really get it,” she said. “This time he gets it and he came downstairs, and I was just waking up, and he went, ‘I just wanted to come down and make sure you and the baby are OK.’ It melts your heart! It’s all lovely.”

Holly also spoke of the relief at finally being able to tell everyone the good news.

“That first bit when you can’t say anything to anybody, it’s horrible because you just want to go ‘I’m pregnant!’ Now it’s nice that everybody knows and it’s out there,” she told her Bleakley.

Holly and Dan have decided not to find out the baby’s sex before the birth.

“I’m not going to this time,” she announced on the show. “I found out with Belle, but this time we’re not going to find out.”

It’s that awkward time of year again – too cold for those short sleeved tops but too warm for that winter coat. Not to worry, we have some top tips to make sure you keep comfortable during the spring months ahead.

  • It’s hard to be certain with our unpredictable Irish weather, but we think it might be finally safe to ditch those winter boots in favour of some slip on trainers.
  • Even though the sun has started to appear, we wouldn’t recommend baring any skin just yet; however, you can never go wrong when it comes to layers. With some clever layering of cardigans, dresses, cami tops and bomber jackets, you can keep warm and stylish at the same time.
  • Shorts are really popular at the moment and by combining them with tights, you can stay warm and fashionable.
  • It may seem ambitious to wear sunglasses in spring but that sun can be surprisingly bright, so why not treat yourself to a brand new pair of shades.

Frozen grapes are not only a quick and healthy snack to have throughout the day, but are somehow even sweeter than your standard grape. Eat them on their own or add them to desserts and salads. They’re also a great way to chill your glass of wine.

  1. Wash and de stem grapes.
  2. Rinse grapes under water for thirty seconds and then dry thoroughly.
  3. Place grapes on baking sheet with wax paper and freeze. By freezing them this way it ensures that grapes will not clump together.
  4. Some people like to sprinkle sugar on top of the grapes but it’s unnecessary due to the natural level.
  5. Leave the grapes to freeze for up to an hour. You can freeze for longer but that depends on your own preference.
  6. You can eat the grapes straight away from the freezer or leave to slightly thaw. We prefer them straight from the freezer as they taste sweeter.

We can blame it on the time or our age but there some films that we shouldn’t like, but still do:

Coyote Ugly
This made us feel old but this teen movie is over 10 years old. The story wasn’t great, the singing wasn’t great and we can’t forget the questionable dancing, but it did produce the LeAnn Rimes hit, Can’t Fight the Moonlight.

Spice World
Who didn’t want to ‘Spice up their life,’ when the biggest girl band in the world decided to release their own movie. The plot and acting wasn’t great but even still, it’s hard to deny that it didn’t give you some laughs.

The Blair Witch Project
Some still maintain that this is the scariest film of all time but the majority will probably remember it for the not-so-flattering angles of a runny noses.

Mamma Mia!
Who knew a film full of big names would actually have so little singing or dancing talent? However, you would be lying to yourself if you didn’t admit to singing along to those ABBA hits.

Crossroads
Crossroads was the time old tale of how Britney was not a girl but also not yet a woman. You may also recognise some other familiar faces in this questionable road trip classic.

Toxic relationships are often hard to recognise, especially if you’ve been close with that person for a long time. But if they bring out that the worst in you or makes you feel unsupported, it’s time to go.

Relationships work best if there is give and take and both partners are equal. But if you feel you are constantly sacrificing your needs to keep the other person happy, it’s not only going to have an impact on your happiness, but your mental health.

The most common sign that you could be in a toxic relationship is that you feel extremely uncomfortable around your partner.

A relationship should bring the best out of you and that includes the ability to growth and change. Whether you feel you can’t speak your mind or be yourself around them, you may need to question why that is and more importantly are they worth it.

Feeling out of sorts lately? Here are  some of the main reasons  why your body clock might not be ticking as well as it should.

Sweet addiction
We all have a sweet tooth, but overdoing it on the snacks can not only lead to weight gain but to sugar highs and lows.

Lack of sleep
If you don’t sleep for a minimum of six hours, it can not only put you in a bad mood, but can also have an effect on your ability to focus properly too.

Stress
We all get stressed from time to time but we need to be careful when it comes to managing our own stress levels. Too much stress can not only lead to bouts of insomnia but also other unhealthy habits.

Crash diets
We’ve all experimented with the latest trendy diet; you may lose a few ponds but if you’re cutting out too many essential nutrients your body will be only exhausted as a result.

Caffeine overdose
Even though it doesn’t feel like it, caffeine can stay in our system long after we’ve had  our daily cappuccino. If you want to ensure a good night’s sleep make sure not to have any caffeine substances during the four hours before you go to bed and yes, that includes tea.

Have that all important job interview coming up? Here are some great tips to ensure that it goes well:

  • Even though nerves can often get the best of us, make sure you stay on topic and answer the questions asked.
  • Maintain eye contact – it may feel a little strange, but it shows that you are focused as well as confident.
  • Don’t let your nerves take complete hold of you. Instead of thinking of the interview as a whole or zooming in on the interviewer’s reactions to your answers, just focus on each question asked and the time will fly.
  • Interviewers will often ask if you have any questions towards the end of your interview. Even though many of us prefer to say no, so we can get out of the interview as soon as possible, it is a good opportunity to show that you’ve researched the company and the role.
  • Most importantly, make sure that you are dressed appropriately for an interview. An interview only allows you a limited amount of time to make a great impression and the right outfit can show how serious you are about this position.

Even though it may seem like more hassle than it’s worth having a clean make-up bag. It’s not only important hygienically but it can be a time saver too. Here are some great tips to ensure that your make-up bag stays squeaky clean:

Pencils
Whether its eyeliner or lip liner regularly, sharpening pencils can prevent a messy bag but also ensure clean lines around the lips and eyes.

Foundation
A simple way to manage your liquid foundation leaks is to regularly use your multipurpose make-up remover wipes.

Brushes instead of sponge applicators
Brushes are not only easier to clean but tend to last longer too even after washing. Even though sponge applicators can create an even finish, they can lose their shape and texture after washing.

Clearing out your bag
It may seem obvious but having a good clear out and dumping old products ensures great hygiene but also better application when it comes to your make-up. Regularly scrubbing your bag with washing up liquid can also prevent the build-up of germs.

A Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills viewer created a petition to have controversial Brandi Glanville booted off the show.

A girl named Lori Chase titled the petition ‘Remove Brandi Glanville from ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ and had it sent to Bravo TV Casting Office.

With over 1,000 signatures, the organiser made it very clear why she wanted the former model off the show.

She wrote: “Brandi Glanville has made repetitive comments in the open media, social media, the actual television show and interviews which are distasteful and offensive to many groups of people.

She jokes about racial stereotypes and child molestation among other very serious issues.  Her behavior and words are hurtful, offensive and repulsive beyond the point of entertainment or good TV”.

In the past, Brandi took to Twitter to joke about a young suicide and she also made a racist comment towards a cast mate.

No wonder views want her out of the show!
