Music heavyweight and producer Mark Knight will close out the sold-out weekend from 10pm on Sunday, supported by DJ legend Al Gibbs.

Electric Picnic will take place from August 30 until September 1 in Stradbally, County Laois.

The festival sold out almost immediately this year, so any gigs will be special to witness. Check out the Bacardi bartenders making the weekend's tastiest cocktails to match the summer sounds.

Rapper 21 Savage has finally been released on bond from ICE custody after the federal immigration agency detained him, alleging that he had overstayed his visa.

Officials said the rapper is a British citizen with a felony conviction, hence his arrest and attempt at deportation.

In a statement, lawyers Charles Kuck, Dina LaPolt and Alex Spiro said She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph (his given name), was released yesterday.

The lawyers said in the statement: “In the last 24 hours, in the wake of the Grammy Awards at which he was scheduled to attend and perform, we received notice that 21 Savage was granted an expedited hearing."

It continued; “Today, 21 Savage was granted a release on bond. He won his freedom. He will not forget this ordeal or any of the fathers, sons, family members, and faceless people he was locked up with or that remain unjustly incarcerated.”

He was taken into custody on February 3, and had a wave of celebrities and authority figures campaigning for his release ever since.

His lawyers claim to have been speaking with ICE ever since his arrest to “clarify his actual legal standing, his eligibility for bond, and provide evidence of his extraordinary contributions to his community and society.”

They previously stated that the 26-year-old rapper was brought to the US when he was only seven-years-old, with his legal status expiring in 2006.

“21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters,” the statement also wrote.

“He says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit”.

Finally, it read that 21 Savage is "grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together.”

Chris Brown has been released from jail after he was arrested this morning on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Beauty queen Baylee Curran claimed that Chris pointed a gun at her face during a party in his house.

The performer's lawyer wrote about his release on Twitter, saying: "Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes.

"Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy."

The 27-year-old was released on $250,000 bail.

Chris's friend, Ray J (Kimmy K's ex) also posted a message about the incident, which the singer shared on his Instagram page.

It has been confirmed that Chris Brown has been released from prison, where he was serving 131 days for violating his probation stemming from his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The R&B singer went on Twitter to say he was “Humbled and Blessed”. He certainly seemed relieved as he tweeted that he was “Back to the Music and Fans”, “Thank you GOD” (sic).

Brown isn’t completely off the hook just yet – he is still on probation until the end of January, 2015 and is subject to random drug testing at least three times a week. He also has to have psychiatric counselling twice a week, attend an outpatient therapy and complete what is left of his 1,000 hours of community service he got last August after a car accident.

We can’t help but wonder if Rihanna will be able to keep her distance now that Chris is a free man? Only time will tell.
