Men in France could be fined as much as €90.00 for harassing women in the street.

Men who make 'loud and lewd comments' about women, follow them in the street or block their path could be fined under a new bill targeting street harassment.

The bill was put forward as part of a proposal focussing on street harassment and sexual violence, and seeks to eventually make the former a criminal offence.

Commenting on the move, Gender Equality Minister Marlene Schiappa highlights women's vulnerability and their lack of protection in the eyes of the law.

'It's completely necessary because at the moment street harassment is not defined in the law,' she told French radio RTL.

'At the moment, one can’t file a lawsuit for street harassment.'

The Minister hopes that the fining process will tackle the 'gray zone between consented seduction and sexual aggression,' according to French paper Le Croix.

Previously, it was reported that wolf-whistling would be included under this bill.

The report does not recommend that wolf-whistlers be fined.

International sportsman, Conor McGregor, has been given two months to pay a fine of €400 following a hearing in Blanchardstown District Court today.

(The sportsman may be a lot of things, but short on cash isn't one of them… thankfully.)

The UFC star appeared in court after failing to pay a initial fine for breaking the speed limit on the Naas Road in March of this year.

.After entering a guilty plea, the 29-year-old Dublin native told the court he can't remember why he didn't pay the first fine in April.

After being told he could pay his €400 fine in instalments  McGregor said: "I apologise and I want to show my respect by showing up today. I apologise."

According to The Journal, the sports star's case had been adjourned on two previous occasions after McGregor failed to appear.

The new system will be implemented next week, and Panda Waste customers are currently learning about the contract changes.

But that's not the only change to 150,000 customers' contracts.

It will also include asserting the right to enter people's homes and property to inspect rubbish, as well as fines for missing direct debit payments and adding on an extra charge is any waste is deemed hazardous.

According to 98fm, at the beginning of this year the waste collection company installed cameras onto its trucks to try catch customers out with things such as throwing a child's nappy into the green bin.

The new fine will cost customers €25.

It's safe to say we all didn't know what to think when Orlando Bloom got his junk out to go paddle-boarding with Katy Perry.

The couple were in Sardina when the snaps were taken, but now it seems that he might have to pay a fine as he inadvertently broke the law.

Public nudity is actually illegal on the Italian island (unless at a specified nudist beach) which means Orlie could face a €1,200 fine. Ouch.

We just don't know what he was thinking in the first place…

Rob Kardashian has reportedly been fined $1,100 for breaking a Californian speed limit after racing to collect Blac Chyna from Texas back in January.

According to OK!, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was caught driving his Bentley at over 170km/h while travelling back from Austin with his fiancé after she was charged with public intoxication and being in possession of a controlled substance.

As well as being fined, the dad-to-be has also had his licence suspended.

In January, TMZ reported that Chyna had been caught with two ecstasy pills in her sunglasses case when she was pulled up for being drunk and disorderly at Austin International Airport.

Chyna – who is expecting a baby with Rob this Autumn – supposedly became verbally abusive with a bartender at the airport when he refused to serve her the level of alcohol she wanted.
