If you love having long eye lashes but HATE having to apply falsies, then this is the hack for you.

Beauty vlogger, Huda Kattan took to Youtube to show her followers how to achieve super long lashes in just a minute.

All you need is some cotton wool, a spoolie (which you can find at the end of some eye liners) and your usual mascara.

After you apply a first coat of mascara, Huda tells you to then cover your spoolie with cotton wool, and transfer onto your lashes.

Do this a few times are the results are amazeee. She'll even show you at the end the difference between just mascara and cotton-lined mascara.

Now, go fourth and make those lashes rock.

Beauty is a funny thing. And as we grow up we hear, and listen to, a lot of beauty advice.

This can come from our mothers, grandmothers, friends and… (now) bloggers, but there's some things that we're told that confuse the hell out of us.

Here are some examples of beauty ironies we all need to follow:

You have to cut your hair to grow it

This one is often split down the middle as some people listen and some don't. But it's true, in order to make your hair grow longer, you have to cut it to get rid of the dead and nasty split ends. Now, go forth to the hairdressers!

The stuff you do to make your eyelashes look longer can actually break them

Miley Cyrus's recent incident is the perfect example of this. We wear mascara most days, which can dry out your lashes if not removed properly. We use a strange metal clamp to curl them, which can actually be quite dangerous (especially if your dog comes running at you) and some of us even get extensions, and when not done properly, can majorly damage our lashes.

The more you wear lip balm, the more you need it

Did you know this? Well it's true. Lip balm actually dries out your lips in the long run, leading you to buy more lip balm to get your smackers soft again. It's a vicious cycle. *face palm*

The more you squeeze your skin to get rid of the bad stuff, the more bad stuff gets in

We know it's tempting but this one is so true. Don't squeeze your skin. Ever.

We put on a slab of make-up and call it 'no make-up'

Yes, we want to go for the natural look… but wearing foundation, mascara, bronzer and highlighter isn't actually all that natural.

We had Creative Director at BUFF Make-Up, Jessica Moulds in studio to show us how to achieve all the festival make-up looks you'll need this year.

We asked our readers a series of questions about what they are interested in or what they find difficult and five main hurdles came up; which we will answer on S! TV.

The third question we answered was how to make the most of your natural lashes for this festival season.

Watch the video tutorial now to find out how to achieve the super glamorous look.

If we had to pick one beauty product we couldn’t live without, mascara would more than likely be at the top of the list. Don’t make us choose please, that’s just mean.

For a lot of make-up addicts their mascara is like a security blanket they just don’t want to give up. . However! Mascara application is something that should be so simple, but can also go terribly, terribly wrong.

Smudging clumping and even sneezing are all little mishaps that we end up facing at some point.Unless you’re a mascara god. Fortunately, there’s some easy tricks that you can use every time to ensure flawless application. No falsies necessary, yay!

If your mascara has gotten a little dry, or become too thick to use, soak it in a cup of hot water for a few minutes to loosen it up for easier application.

If you want the all-day staying-power that waterproof mascara provides, you can expect it to be tougher to remove at the end of the day. Use a normal mascara as a base and then apply a coat of waterproof mascara over the top. Unless you can pull off the single tear drop like Lauren…

If you want to go all out with your long lashes, go for a lash primer. Consider it the same as a foundation primer for those who are serious about wearing some dramatic lashes all day every day. It gives your lashes better grip so your mascara goes on easier and smoother.

The old reliable technique to get the best of your mascara means you shouldn’t pump the wand in and out of the container as it dries it out faster. Instead swirl the wand around the container.

Avoid clumps by wiping off the tip of the wand with tissue so you don’t have the feeling of terror of your lashes becoming one big clump of uni-lash, no one wants that.

Get the most out of your eye lash curler with a hair-styling staple. Your hair dryer. Give your curler a blast of hot air for longer-lasting curl. Just make sure it’s not too hot before you use it, you don’t want to lose any of those precious lashes.

Keeping your eyelashes primed and protected will go a long way in ensuring they stay full and healthy for a long time.

Don’t wear mascara every day
For some this is a pretty big deal. But those days when you are just lazing about the house don’t wear it. Give yourself a day off or even a few hours off and your lashes will thank you for it.

Take mascara off every night
If you are waking in the morning with mascara gunk on your eye it means you didn’t take it off properly the night before. Invest in a good eye make-up remover and make sure it is off before you go to bed at night.

Be gentle
When using curlers or a mascara wand, go gently. While it may take a little longer to get your desired look, your lashes will be the better for it.

Clean hands
Make sure your hands are clean before you put them anywhere near your face. Eye infections are not nice and some can even cause your eyelashes to fall out.

Give them nutrients
Use mascara that contains Vitamin E and other minerals. Lash serums are pretty good and help to stimulate lash growth.
