Many of us were shocked to hear that Zayn Malik had dated actress Stephanie Davis way back when and the former-Hollyoaks star has revealed the reason they went their separate ways. 

According to Stephanie, she had no choice but to end things because Zayn was already hanging out with Perrie Edwards. 

"We dated for five months in 2011 just before he started seeing Perrie. We actually broke up because I found out he had been meeting up with Perrie," she said to OK! Magazine. 

"It was just one of those things. Zayn is a good lad really, I don't have anything bad to say about him." 

Despite not being at all angry about how things ended between the pair, Steph did admit that she didn't see much of the One Direction star after that. 

"We still have mutual friends. Zayn is dead sound, I'm sure if we bumped into each other now we'd be absolutely fine."

And we reckon Stephanie is not at all bothered about the antics of Zayn as she was spotted out looking at rings with her new flame Jeremy McConnell earlier this week. 

Having only met in the Celebrity Big Brother house last month, it seems that the pair are keen to take things to the next level. 

While Stephanie took to Twitter to show off her new bling, the pair have revealed they are moving things along quickly as they go house-hunting together. 

Which is probably a good thing seeing as Steph has no where to live having been shacked up with her former boyfriend Sam Reece before entering the house.

Little Mix were out celebrating this Stephen's Day as Jade Thirlwall turned 23. 

And it seems that Perrie was out on the pull as she jokingly told her band mate not to "scare away any cute guys" in an adorable Instagram message. 

The blonde 23-year-old wrote: "Happy birthday m'love!… If there's any cute guys tonight I'd appreciate it if you DIDN'T scare them all off by telling them they'll always be second best to you cz 'jerrie' is real! Thanks petal."

She went on to wish her best pal a great birthday, while sharing a collage of the two together. 

"Happy birthday to my little poopy! 23 today you old haggard lass! You're a gorgeous, talented, little bundle of joy, and life would be dull without your Gail platt.

"Can't wait to celebrate with you tonight and let our hair down! You deserve a wild night… Il look forward to your drunken winks across the bar and morning after 'what's ap group' pics and convo!"

And Jesy Nelson was not to be outdone. She shared a funny pic of Jade while revealing that Jade makes her laugh so much she nearly wets herself. 

"She never ever fails to make laugh that much that wee comes out of my foof!!!"

"Can't wait to celebrate with you tonight and let our hair down! You deserve a wild night… I'll look forward to your drunken winks across the bar and morning after 'what's app group' pics and convo!"

​Leigh-anne also got in on the action, even though she could not make the big night out. 

"I want to thank you for being such an amazing friend to me.. You are always there when I need you, you make me piss my pants with laughter at your crazy faces! You are an absolute mad woman and let me tell you I wouldn't have you any other way."

Yeah, so Little Mix are our ULTIMATE friendship goals.

Little Mix are fit and we all know it. 

And it seems the world has taken notice as the popular quartet have just landed their own range of fitness gear in a collaboration with USA Pro. 

Announcing the news officially on their Instagram, the band has become global ambassadors for the popular leisure-wear brand. 

Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade will each design their own collection of sports gear which means there will definitely be something for everyone. 

Speaking to OK! magazine, the girls revealed how hard it can be to stay body positive when in the public light. 

"It can be quite hard times, especially for a woman, because you get scrutinised in every way possible. You need to have a very think skin if you’re in this industry and you have to be very sure of who you are as a person."

"We think you just have to learn to love yourself and embrace yourself because there is only one you."

And perhaps the most excited of the bunch? Perrie, who admits that she actually hates exercising. 

"I love keeping fit by dancing and taking classes but, like a lot of girls, I actually hate the gym!"

"Everyone’s individual in the way they exercise but we all want to look good whatever we’re doing."

We were seriously feeling for Perrie Edwards when it was revealed earlier this month that Zayn Malik was going out with perhaps the hottest model in the world right now, Gigi Hadid. 

But it seems that we didn't need to worry about our girl, Perrie. 

Our favourite pop star has been having her own fun as she was spotted out on a date with a gorgeous model of her own. 

The Little Mix starlet was pictured at the ever popular Winter Wonderland theme park in London's Hyde park with nightclub promoter and model, Leon King. 

Oh, hey. 

The pictures obtained by the Sun show Perrie wearing a particularly festive white coat and linking arms with the handsome model while enjoying the attractions in London's city centre. 

The news comes just four months after the official split of 'Zerrie' and only a matter of weeks since Zayn was spotted out in LA with Gigi. 

"They looked very cosy as they walked around. Perrie and Leon linked arms and looked closer than friends," an onlooker told the Sun. 

"It was just the two of them, other than Perrie’s security guards, who kept a close eye on them as they mingled with the public."

We know very little about Leon other than he has been charming the pants off Perrie on social media by liking a number of complimentary tweets about the 21-year-old singer. 

With his chiselled good looks, we hope that this one is a keeper.

Zayn who? Perrie Edwards was the picture of confidence as she walked the red carpet in Birmingham yesterday – and we're already plotting how to DIY her look.

The blonde beauty arrived at the BBC Music Awards with her three Little Mix bandmates, all of whom looked equally on point in black lace, leather and studs.

But it was Perrie's fierce hair and flawless make-up that had us marking her down as our next major girl crush.

With her straight locks (and extensions, no doubt) slicked back into a plaited pony, Perrie looked more like Tomb Raider than her usual laid-back self.

As for her make-up, the singer worked a Scandinavian ice queen look, opting for heavily defined eyes with a touch of ice blue, and a simple warm nude on her lips.

We have never quite known fringe envy until Kendall Jenner rocked up to the AMAs with perhaps the most covetable bangs we have ever seen. 

And just as were about to make an impulsive trip to the hair salon (which we would have ultimately regretted!), we learned that Kendall did not go for the chop and instead just faked her look with some ingenious hair styling. 

This week, Perrie also tried to lull us into going for some illustrious bangs but her perfect up do was also faked. 

So how can you achieve the ultimate set of bangs without the commitment? Well all you need is some bobbins, hair pins and patience!

Grab a bobbin and pull your into a high pony. Take half of your pony and pull it over the bobbin towards your face. Pin the hair securely on the top of your head, creating a half bun.

Leaving the ends to frame your face, split the remaining hair in the ponytail in two and wrap around the half bun you created. Pin the bun as desired.

A large Starbucks, messy hair and massive sunglasses – Gigi Hadid certainly has her hangover style on point.

The Victoria's Secret model stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning looking more than a little worse for wear. Making a beeline for her car, Gigi was snapped wearing a large checked shirt and the remnants of her outfit from the evening before.

Yup, we've definitely spotted those ripped boyfriend jeans and that blue Hermès bag somewhere – on Gigi's Tuesday night date with Zayn Malik, to be exact.

Gigi and Zayn were pictured together on Sunday night outside the American Music Awards after-party, and they headed back to the same nightclub on Tuesday for a second date.

Determined not to be papped as she left West Hollywood club The Nice Guy, Gigi used hair, her phone and even her handbag to cover her face. But there was no hiding those washboard abs…

The blossoming romance comes just three weeks after Gigi's split from musician Joe Jonas, and three months after Zayn called off his engagement to Perrie Edwards.

While Zayn appears to be moving on at breakneck speed, his ex-fiancée has recently moved back into the house the couple bought weeks before their shock split.

She was snapped with her mother over the weekend picking up household supplies including a vacuum cleaner, before heading back to the East London mansion, which set the pair back almost €6million.

Jesy Nelson has announced that she is going to be pulling out of the Little Mix tour and leaving her bandmates to continue to Japan without her.

She has told fans that she has a “horrid” ear infection which has forced her to pull out of the next leg of the tour. She has not yet confirmed if she will be joining the group again after their time in Japan. 

The rest of band seem pretty excited about their next adventure as they took to Twitter and wrote:

"Gutted our beautiful Jesminda wont be in Japan with us BUT we wouldn't miss this trip for the world! So excited! x." 

Just recently, Jesy was spotted leaving a launch party for the band’s latest album in floods of tears. Apparently she and fiancée Jake Roche had a massive row that left Jesy visibly upset.

The group had gathered with friends and fellow celebs at Kensington's Bodo's Schloss nightclub to celebrate their new album. According to a source, Jesy and Jake had a "tispy" argument mid-way into the evening.

She addressed the photos in a recent interview and said “everyone gets drunk and gets emotional.”

Perrie Edwards added that she herself has been known to get a bit teary after a few drinks. She said she had a “moment” when the band were celebrating the success of Get Weird.

"It's relatable. Everyone cries when they get drunk," she told The Sun. "We all need a cuddle,” she added.

“I love it when we stick our heads together as a four. We were in the middle of a nightclub and having a moment."

Unexpected couple klaxon!

In what has to be one of the most dramatic relationship twists of the last year, model Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik are now reportedly dating.

The pair – who are both newly single – were spotted together after Sunday night's American Music Awards.

And this was no "rumoured" sighting either, as the two were snapped looking very cosy indeed as they left West Hollywood after the award show after party in The Nice Guy.

Having left the club alone, Gigi walked a short distance down the street, where Zayn's car circled around and picked her up. The two were pictured in deep conversation in the back of the car, as Zayn reached around to touch the Victoria's Secret model on the arm.

The supposed romance comes just three months after Zayn Malik called off his two-year engagement to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.

And indeed, Gigi is also fresh out of a relationship.

She split from her boyfriend of four months, Joe Jonas, just three weeks ago with a rep for the model saying the pair would remain "friends" but that their split was due to "busy schedules." Isn't it always?

In March of this year, Zayn Malik made a very sudden departure from One Direction.

As it happens, Zayn seems to be making his split from the rest of the boys very clear. In an interview with Fader, the 22-year old has revealed that he was never a fan of 1D’s music.  

“That's not music that I would listen to. Would you listen to One Direction, sat at a party with your girl? I wouldn't.”

The now solo artist sat down to chat about a new teaser for his debut single Befour and had a candid chat about his feelings towards Liam and the rest of the gang.

He explained his new artistic direction as it were, and revealed that he felt disconnected from the music that 1D became famous for releasing. 

He admitted he “loved” the band, but the music was not to his liking. He seems to be well and truly over the 1D-mania, and the avid fans that come with the territory as he defended his statements saying:

“I don't think that's an offensive statement to make. That's just not who I am.”

Zayn, who also split from Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards this summer, added that if he was on a date, he wouldn’t fancy listening to One Direction.

"If I was sat at a dinner date with a girl, I would play some cool s**t, you know what I mean? I want to make music that I think is cool s**t. I don't think that's too much to ask for.” 

He signed a record deal with RCA Records in July after leaving 1D in March to pursue a 'private and more normal life'. According to the interview Zayn has also been enjoying other creative pursuits:

“Entering Zayn’s backyard stirs up an eerie feeling of boyhood bumping up against something darker. Boxed on his porch is a high-powered Predator CarbonLite crossbow.”

He also commented on his break-up and the claims that he broke up with Perrie via text:

“I have more respect for Perrie than to end anything over text message. I love her a lot, and I always will.”

So, picture this. It is New York City on New Year's Eve, 1979. Everyone who is anyone has rocked up to infamous nightclub of the stars Studio 54. Frequented by Michael Jackson, Diane Von Furstenberg and Andy Warhol, it was THE only place to be seen on the weekend. 

This New Year's Eve party was packed to the rafters and as the clock struck midnight, four TONNES of glitter was dropped onto the dance floor as guests shimmied their way into 1980. For months after the now historic event, if you spotted a few flecks of glitter on the collar of your brunching partner, you knew exactly where they spent their NYE.  

Here we have proof, ladies and gents, that glitter is NOT just for kids. YAY. 

Don't be afraid to add a little sparkle to your makeup looks this holiday season in a slightly less messy (but equally as glamorous) manner. 

 

1) Make glitter your focal point 

Whether it is your eyes, your lips or even perhaps your hair (yep, glitter in hair is officially a thing), make one of these the focal point for your glitter obsession. By applying glitter heavily to the eye area, for example, it is important to leave the lips clean and fresh perhaps with just a light gloss. Glitter is intense to wear so try not to go overboard! 

 

2) Use eyelash glue as adhesive 

Eyelash glue is the ideal tool to apply glitter to your face and to make sure it lasts the entire night. Spread some adhesive on a smooth surface and use a tweezers to dip individual specs of glitter into the glue and apply any way you like. The more sparkle the better. 

 

3) Play with colour

When people think glitter, they tend to think silver and gold immediately but this sparkly stuff comes in all different colours. Choose shades that compliment your make up look or highlights accents in your outfit. Looking this good means planning, ya'll. 

 

4) Get Creative

Glitter does not have to dominate your look. Apply shadows and use specs of glitter to add some interest to the eye. Play around with different designs such as a cluster on the outer lid or a strip underneath the lash line. Cute!

 

5) If actual glitter ain't your thing, opt for intense shimmer 

Okay, we get that actual glitter might be a bit too much for some but that does not mean you shouldn't sparkle. Shimmering eye shadows are a super popular way to add that eye opening glisten to the face without actually sticking glitter on it.

So indulge in a super shimmery shadow and apply to the entire eye lid crease. Remember darker shades create striking shadows to the outer corners of the eyes and white or nude shades open the eyes when applied to the inner corners.

It's only been a few months since he called off his engagement to Perrie Edwards, but Zayn Malik has already well and truly moved on.

The singer was pictured leaving London's Nobu restaurant this week with actress Wallis Day.

Wallis, an English actress known for her role as Holly Cunningham on Hollyoaks, bears more than a passing resemblance to Perrie, with her long blonde hair and slender features.

Whether or not Zayn and Wallis had plans together after their meal is unclear, as the pair were sure to leave the restaurant in separate cars.

Perrie Edwards has yet to speak out openly about her split with Zayn, which reportedly took place via text, but she has said she is doing "good" a few months on.

In a recent interview the singer alluded to her feelings about her ex when she discussed the use of the word "d**khead" in Little Mix's new single, Hair.

"Well you know sometimes when you break up with someone they are that word so it’s alright to say in a song," Jade Thirwall explained on UTV.

"Yeah it is. He was just a b***-end, and I knew it," Perrie added.

We reckon she'll have a few more choice words after hearing about Zayn's latest night out with Wallis.
