Maya Jama has been talking all things Love Island!
The host of the ITV dating show is currently preparing to launch it back onto our screens.
Love Island’s 10th series is due to begin next Monday, June 5. This is the second time that Maya will be hosting the show, following her debut in January for this year’s winter series.

Ahead of the brand-new Islanders entering the villa in Mallorca, Maya has been delving into the Love Island history books to reveal her favourite moment (so far).
In an interview with the Love Island team, the 28-year-old was asked what she thinks has been the most memorable moment since the reality show began in 2015.
"It has to be when Maura was going to the hideaway with Tom but overheard him talking about her to the boys which led to her kicking off at him in the garden,” Maya recalled, speaking about a fiery exchange between 2019 contestants Maura Higgins and Tom Walker.
“It was just the instant flip-over, he nearly had a chance, but he got caught out and ruined it," Maya exclaimed further.
The TV presenter also noted that she is "full of nerves" but also “ready and excited” ahead of the summer series.
The fan favourite teased that she doesn’t want to disappoint audiences, after wowing them with her presenting skills earlier this year. "Now there's a bit more of an expectation, I just want to make sure that I live up to that expectation again. The pressure is on for my stylist because the dresses did very well last series," Maya joked.

Congratulations are in order for Ben Platt as the actor has gotten engaged to his fiancé again.
The Dear Evan Hansen star has revealed his fiancé, Noah Galvin, whom Ben proposed to at the end of last year has proposed back to him as part of a sweet gesture.
Ben took to Instagram to reveal Noah, known for his role in The Good Doctor, asked him to marry him with the help of their dog George.

Sharing a snap of his gorgeous blue engagement ring from Noah to his 1.7M Instagram followers, Platt wrote, “He proposed back”.
Another snap on the Pitch Perfect star’s Stories shows their dog George with a red rose in his mouth and blue flower petals on the ground around him.
Galvin re-shared the cute photos to his own Instagram Stories and sweetly explained, “George did the asking”.

The couple also celebrated their second engagement with a heart-shaped blue cake that reads, “Gay marriage is cool. Ben & Noah. 5.29.23”.
Ben’s beautiful sapphire ring resembles the same uniquely-shaped squared off ring he gave to his fiancé when he proposed last year.
Platt announced that he had popped the big question first back in November by sharing snaps of the couple from the special moment to Instagram.

Captioning the post, “He agreed to hang out forever”, famous faces and fans alike were overjoyed for them.
Ben and Noah first met in 2016 when they were both cast in the musical Dear Evan Hansen. They began dating in January 2020 but didn't reveal they were an item until May of the same year.
Britain’s Got Talent viewers got an almighty shock last night!
The first of the show’s semi-finals kicked off on Monday evening, with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly introducing 2009 winners Diversity as surprise special guests.
After the dance troupe showcased a spectacular performance, Ant and Dec made their way to join Diversity leader Ashley Banjo on stage for a brief chat.
However, as the pair sprinted onto the stage, Ant's feet slipped right out from under him and he plummeted to the floor.

Ant’s longtime pal Dec burst into laughter as dancer Ashley helped him to get back on his feet.
The 47-year-old then went on to address viewers after the incident. "Ouch, my back. Wow, if you didn't catch that on telly, that was quite a heavy fall,” he admitted.
Co-host Dec then went on to ask his friend if he was okay, to which Ant replied: "I think I wet myself and farted at the same time!"
After concerns from judge Amanda Holden, Ant went on to reassure the judging panel he was absolutely fine, with Simon Cowell remarking that it was the presenters’ best entrance yet.

Following the show’s first advert break, Dec then went on to tease his best friend further by organising a replay of Ant’s fall in slow-motion, exclaiming that it was his “favourite part” of the episode so far.
“I'm making a claim! That was a very slippy stage,” Ant joked in response.
With viewers expressing worries about the incident, the social media team behind BGT subsequently took to Twitter to reassure fans.
“Don't worry, Ant's fine!” they penned, with many taking to replies to express their relief and delight at the funny accident.

The Succession star has confirmed that she has welcomed her first child.
The Australian actress, who is best known for playing the role of Siobhan ‘Shiv’ Roy in the HBO drama, has given birth alongside her husband Dave Lawson.
Sarah chose to share the wonderful news via Instagram yesterday evening, following the premiere of the Succession finale.
The 35-year-old shared a teasing photo of herself watching the final episode, and fans were delighted to see a glimpse of her little one’s head in the snap.

Alongside a heartfelt message dedicated to the hit show, Sarah also confirmed that she has since become a mum.
“I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life. And now, my life has changed again. Thank you for all the love and support,” she gushed at the end of her caption.
Many have since taken to Sarah’s comments section to congratulate her on her success – and the arrival of her newborn!

Sarah initially announced her pregnancy on March 20, when she debuted her baby bump at the premiere for Succession’s fourth and final season in New York City.

The TV star also surprised fans when she revealed that she didn’t have “too much longer” to wait before her due date. "Like two months? Well, I'm at 32 weeks,” she explained.
Sarah and comedian husband Dave tend to keep their relationship away from the public eye. After being friends since 2014, the couple fell in love in 2020 and later got married in February 2021 in Sarah’s back garden.

Jamie Laing has shared his upset as he and his wife Sophie Habboo were trying to jet off on their honeymoon earlier today.
The former Made in Chelsea stars tied the knot with a lavish ceremony in Spain earlier this month and were meant to be heading on their honeymoon this morning.
Jamie took to Instagram to tell his 1.1M followers about his and Sophie’s nightmare start to their trip between delayed planes and cancelled connecting flights.

The 34-year-old penned, “This is WILD… We're on our honeymoon to South America, connecting flight to Amsterdam. KLM are delayed but we still have time to make our flight. Without warning, they take us off our connecting flight”.
“So now we have to fly back to London, then fly to Colombia, then fly to Panama, and then fly to our honeymoon destination. This is a total f*** up. Thanks @klm”, he added, followed by an angry face emoji.
Jamie then updated his fans further by saying, “This actually means @sophiehabboo and I will visit four countries in 24 hours”, before talking to his fans and explaining that the flight the couple have to get back to London is also delayed.

The insight into the rocky start to his and Sophie’s honeymoon comes after the former reality TV star shared a snap of him and Habboo in a car on their way to the airport with the caption, “And we’re off on our honeymoon”.
Luckily, the pair and their loved ones were able to make the journey to Seville, Spain last week to celebrate their marriage.
The newlyweds officially tied the knot in April with a private ceremony in a Chelsea registry office, before hosting their larger celebration with 200 guests abroad.
The Only Way Is Essex star has been keeping her romantic life away from the private eye in recent months.
Now, in an interview with OK!, the 22-year-old has revealed that she is in a relationship.
“No, I’m not single – I don’t ever think I will be again,” she gushed. “I’ve kept this private for a long time and I think a lot of people will be shocked."

Ella then went on to confirm that herself and her boyfriend are “100% official” and have already been considering their plans for the future. “Now I’ve got my own home and a boyfriend, I’m thinking about having a family and getting married,” she detailed.
“Things are moving in that direction now. I’m very happy at this moment in my life. We are keeping it private at the moment just because things are going so well, so I’m not going to tell you who he is yet. At some point I will, he is going to be such a big part of my life,” she gushed further, without disclosing details about when the relationship started.

Ella, who recently returned from Thailand after filming for the brand-new series of TOWIE, also opened up about the surgery she underwent on a lump on her eyelid.
“It was quite a procedure to get my head around, it was daunting because your eyes are so important, so it did scare me. I’m doing OK at the moment, I was feeling quite low after my operation to be honest,” she confessed.

“The medication I was on made me feel quite down in the dumps and I was anxious about the results. I’m still waiting on those but I’m just positive thinking so fingers crossed,” she hoped.

Gemma Collins has opened up about her plans for the future.
The former star of The Only Way Is Essex has stripped back her private life in an interview with OK!, during which she addressed if she wants to have children in the near future.
“I don’t know. I honestly can’t tell you,” she confessed, speaking at the recent RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Gemma then went on to explain how circumstances have changed her outlook on having kids. “Obviously, I’ve got PCOS and all of that. I could have a child at 50. If I’d had kids sooner, I would probably have been crazy, whereas now, I’m Miss Organic, I can just be at Zen with the child,” she teased.
However, the 42-year-old admitted that she hasn’t got any concrete plans to become a mum in the future.
“It’s a lot having a kid. It’s a big commitment but it’s also very rewarding. But my life will take me where it’s going to take me. It’s taken me this far and as sure as hell it’s not over yet,” she exclaimed.

Gemma, who is engaged to businessman Rami Hawash, also got candid about her conflicting feelings surrounding fame.
“Even coming to Chelsea today, people come up to me and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I just got here and I need a drink.’ I’m not moaning about that but it’s a shock,” the reality star stated.
“I’ve become really well-known now and although I can deal with it, I am human. If people get in my personal space then it gets too much,” she added.

In some of her concluding thoughts, Gemma took the opportunity to address comments that she receives surrounding her body. “I get so bored of people saying to me, ‘Are you going to have a gastric band?’ No I’m not, darling,” she detailed.
“I am very beautiful as I am. You have to be in love with yourself whatever shape or size you are and why should I conform to what society thinks is beautiful?” she questioned.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has issued an urgent appeal for blood donations as the country’s supply of most blood groups has fallen to just 3 days in recent weeks.
The IBTS aims to have seven days stock at all times and their aim is to get an additional 2,000 donations over the next few weeks to increase the blood supply levels.
Paul McKinney, Director of Donor Services and Logistics has made a statement about the supply issue, saying, “There has been a consistently strong hospital demand for blood and we need to boost our collections by nearly 400 donations per week to meet it. The start of summer travel has also had an impact on donor availability”.
"We are asking regular donors who are texted over the next few weeks to make an extra effort to attend their nearest clinic. They are vital to addressing the current increased demand from hospitals”.
"For the longer term, we also urge donors to consider giving blood if they are eligible before they go on holidays this summer”.
Since the pandemic, the number of new donors has dropped significantly. If anybody is interested in donating blood, they should visit https://www.giveblood.ie/become-a-donor in order to check their eligibility.

Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary have displayed a united front following the drama surrounding This Morning.
Over the weekend, the daytime show’s former host Phillip Schofield admitted that he had lied to the press, colleagues at ITV and his loved ones.
In a statement released to the Daily Mail on Friday evening, the 61-year-old admitted to having an affair with a younger ITV male colleague. At the time, Phillip insisted that the relationship was “unwise but not illegal”.
Then, yesterday evening, former This Morning contributor Dr Ranj Singh accused the ITV production of having a “toxic culture” and that he was “managed out” after raising his concerns.

Now, after being in the headlines for several weeks, the team behind This Morning has addressed the continuing developments.
Going on air earlier today, presenting duo Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary waited a few minutes before they chose to mention the controversy surrounding the show.
“We all know we happen to be in the news at the moment, and of course we appreciate that,” began Dermot, speaking ahead of the show’s dedicated news slot.
“But just from both of us and the whole team here, the crew, the guys downstairs – we love making this show for all of you,” he continued.

Contributor Gyles Brandreth, who was taking part in the news discussion, then went on to share his own thoughts on the matter.
“We are very happy to be here, can I say that as well?” he remarked, speaking alongside journalist Sonia Sodha.

Alison and Dermot, who usually tend to host the daytime show on Friday mornings, have taken over full presenting duties in the wake of Phillip Schofield’s admission.
Phillip’s former co-host, Holly Willoughby, is expected to return to This Morning next Monday, June 5, with her new co-presenter yet to be announced.
