13 years since the show began – we know, scary – X Factor has given us so much more than musical talent.

Yes, some of our favourite ships have come from the ITV reality show so we’re taking a trip down X Factor memory lane to remind ourselves of all the couples who stole our hearts over the years.

1. Frankie Cocozza and Amelia Lily

Back in 2011, Frankie and Amelia Lily sent tabloids into a frenzy when they were spotted getting very flirty at the contestants’ hotel.

2. Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs

Viewer favourites Stacey and Olly became close when they appeared on the show back in 2009 so much that Stacey said Olly was her “best friend in the world”.

3. Zayn Malik and Rebecca Ferguson

Before there was Perrie there was Rebecca. Zayn and Rebecca were dating while on the reality show in 2011 and were often spotted out and about holding hands and on romantic dates.

4. Diana Vickers and Eoghan Quigg

Teenage sweathearts Diana and Eoghan were constantly hounded with questions about their relationship. While they never actually confirmed the rumours, that didn’t stop us putting their name in hearts.

5. Wagner and Mary Byrne

Yes, this was a thing. In 2010, Wagner (with a W) and Mary were said to have done a lot of flirting eventually going on to date.

In the past few years, celebrity dopplegangers have come out in force, with everyone from Kendall Jenner to Cara Delevinge having a mere mortal twin.

These 'stranger twins' will look a lot like the stars, but with different angles and proper lighting, it's clear to see that it's just a normal person who was graced with beautiful genes.

But THIS girl… we're flabbergasted by how similar she looks to Ariana Grande.

Seventeen spotted the resemblance of Ari on 20-year-old Jacky Melissa Vasquez, a few days ago, and she has racked in a lot of followers on Instagram because of it.

Jacky has the hairstyle down, the eye liner down and even sports the same body type as the singer.

Seriously, you're going to be doing a triple take on this lady. It's uncanny.

Hygge (pronounced ‘hooga’) is a curious idea. The Danish concept of ‘cosiness’ and ‘peacefulness’ is less a tangible thing, more a philosophy, a feeling.

Still confused? Well, if you’re cuddling on the soft in fluffy PJs and drinking hot chocolate, chances are you’re nailing hygge.

Hey, if it’s good enough for Denmark (the happiest country on Earth according to the UN) it’s good enough for us. Wanna get your own hygge on this winter? Here’s how:

1. Bake muffins

Or brownies, cakes, cookies – just pick your poison and get baking. This will achieve hygge on so many levels: you’ll feel like a productive member of society, the house will be filled with the warm smell of baking (very hygge) AND you’ll have loads of freshly baked goodies to snaffle in front of the telly.

2. Cosy up in pyjamas

Cosying up in our PJs after work isn’t exactly a stretch for us, so this is probably the easiest way to get hygge-ready in a jiffy. Just make sure yours are super soft and warm – in fact, we would have to put a case forward for head-to-toe fleece.

3. Fill the gaff with candles

Dimming the lights and placing candles all around the living room is another tried and tested way to get your hygge on. And we’re all about the mood lighting, so if you want to up the hygge ante, hang some strings of twinkling fairy lights across the mantelpiece and over the windows too.

4. Embrace soft furnishings

As if we needed an excuse! Make all your cosy dreams come true by scattering the living room and bedroom with fleecy blankets, furry rugs and huge, huggable cushions. You want to reach the point where someone walks into the room and can’t see you, because you’re buried under a mountain of cosy goodness.

5. Wrap up for winter walks

Hygge is all about feeling peaceful, happy and cosy, so you’ll want a crisp, cold day with blue skies and a bit of wintry sun. And of course you’ll need to look the part, so wrap up in soft oversized woollies, fur-lined boots and warm hats. Extra hygge points are awarded if you’re holding a chai spiced latte or a hot choc.

And if you’re taking a hygge-worthy winter walk with your baby, the only way to play it is to rock the Stokke Xplory range of strollers from super stylish Scandi brand Stokke. The strollers are minimalist chic at its best, and the Stroller Winter Kit even comes with a gorgeous set of matching fur mittens to keep mamas’ hands toasty. Hygge central!

Fifth Harmony stepped on the stage at the People's Choice Awards last night as a four-piece band.

This is the first time they performed together since Camilla Cabello left the band, due to rising tensions over the past few months.

And while some fans think they killed it, others weren't so sure about the dynamic of the girl group now.

Of course, Twitter went ape, and many shared their opinions on the new era of Fifth Harmony:

Most brides dream of fancy cars or horse-drawn carriages to bring them to their wedding, but not this bride. Nope, Aisling McCarey wanted something a bit different.

Driving a Massey Ferguson tractor to her special day, Aisling finally fulfilled her dream of rolling up to her nuptials on the high horsepower machine.

Speaking to Agriland, Aisling said that she always dreamed of driving a tractor to her wedding since she grew up on a dairy and poultry farm, and is a very experienced driver.

"I'm from a farming background and I've been driving tractors since I was about eight-years-old.

"I live for the whole silage season and I love driving a tractor, so I said if I was ever going to get married, I'd be taking a tractor to my wedding."

She wasn't the only one rolling up in a tractor on the day, though. The rest of her wedding party also got to have a bit of fun with the machines, which were supplied by agricultural contractor Tom Tierney.

The moments of arrival were caught on camera by photographer Manuel Lavery, and it really is a sight to see.

Vaping has become a trendy take on smoking, and with January resolutions to quit smoking just about wavering, it might seem like a good idea to try vaping.

Vaping, for those not in the know, is the process of inhaling nicotine-laced chemical compounds through an electric cigarette, which superheats the vape liquid to create the faux-smoke.

There are nicotine free versions and a variety of flavours, from blueberry bubblegum to oatmeal and raisin.

Vaping has gotten a bit of a bad wrap lately, with allegations of shoddy craftsmanship causing E-Cigs to explode in peoples faces (warning, graphic content) and start fires in people homes.

The companies have also been accused of appealing to children with their fruity flavours.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention released a report last year which found that e-cig use had tripled in the past year among middle and high school students.

A photo posted by Ko Za (@ko.za89) on

The cigs were mostly unregulated for a long time, but in May 2016 the European Union imposed standardised controls on liquids and vaporiser cigarettes across the EU as well as making the disclosure of ingredients in vaping liquids a requirement.

Child-proofing and tamper-proofing for liquid packaging was also made a requirement.

The danger with E-cigarettes is that you don’t actually know exactly what’s in the liquid cartridges.

A photo posted by Vaping360 (@vaping360) on

According to the American Lung Association, they “don’t presently know what is in e-cigarettes. However, in initial lab tests conducted in 2009 the FDA found detectable levels of toxic cancer-causing chemicals, including an ingredient used in anti-freeze, in two leading brands of e-cigarettes and 18 various cartridges.”

There are also dangers as the liquid heats up to vaporised, which can create new chemical concoctions that you are then inhaling so you think you are ok when in fact, you just don’t know.

“To use an e-cigarette, you load the liquid and apply electricity, heating the liquid until it vaporizes. At this temperature, the chemicals inside the fluid undergo a breakdown process and are converted into other chemicals,” according to neurologist Dr Karl Perlmutter.

“When the e-cigarette liquid broke down, it produced both formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing agents, a known carcinogen.”

The U.S. Surgeon General found that e-cigarettes can expose users to several potentially harmful chemicals, including nicotine, carbonyl compounds and “volatile organic compounds” .

Research into the brand is a must, as according to Cancer.net: “E-cigarettes may contain harmful substances. However, the types or concentrations of chemicals, including nicotine, vary based on the brand.”

So while vaping doesn’t have as many cancer-causing compounds as smoking, it’s still not 100 percent safe.

Either way you choose to look at it, the best substance to smoke is usually nothing at all.

Ladies, we would like to introduce you to your new hero: Lyn Slater!

This 63-year-old fashion blogger is totally slaying the fashion game at the moment, and gives absolutely no f**ks about the fact that she is significantly older than most of the other bloggers in the game.

And why should she?

Lyn says that she set up the blog because she "was having trouble finding a fashion blog or magazine that offered an urban, modern, intellectual aesthetic but also spoke to women who live “interesting but ordinary lives” in cities."

This amazing blogger is targeting "women who are not famous or celebrities but are smart, creative, fashion forward, fit, thoughtful, engaged, related and most importantly clear and comfortable with who they are."

We are so down with that message!

Lyn has gained over 77,000 followers on Instagram in recent years, and is part of a new generation of fashion bloggers.

When rumours began circulating that there was an emoji-inspired movie in the works, most of us assumed it would amount to little.

Then news landed that it was actually going ahead. It was really happening, ladies.

And with Silicon Valley star TJ Miller, Broad City star Ilana Glazer and James Corden all attached, the hype surrounding the upcoming flick only intensified, and before we knew it, everyone began wondering who would play the poo emoji.

Well, that wait is now over because it's just been announced that the coveted role has been handed to the one and only Patrick Stewart.

Lauded for his work both on stage and screen over the past 50 years, the news that the 76-year-old actor will be appearing in Tony Leondis’ new film may stun some, given the negative feedback the movie’s trailers have had thus far.

Well, maybe Mr Stewart's prowess on set is exactly what the film needs?

If there's one thing more irritating than waiting for a video to buffer on YouTube, we have yet to come across it.

And it looks like the folk at YouTube, which happens to be owned by Google, are all too aware of this.

In a bid to distract users from their own dodgy internet connection, YouTube have changed the standard 'loading' icon from a circle to a castle with a jaunty red flag.

According to Android Police, the icon has been around for a while, but is making more regular appearances as the weeks go by.

Unfortunately the castle has absolutely no bearing on the video's loading time, but was designed to entertain the viewer as they cursed their internet provider and demanded a gin from their nearest and dearest.

Oh, and if you happen to be, you know, into castles, cherish its appearance because it only appears when the video first loads, and not throughout if it begins to buffer halfway through.

And now you know…

Listen, we'll be the first to admit that it's very easy to get wrapped up in the world of shiny new cosmetics.

Has anyone ever bought an eyeshadow palette purely because it was new, and exciting? Well, SAME.

Nine times out of ten, we use up the one or two colours we like, and then shove whats left of the palette in a drawer… never to be seen or heard from again.

Well, the fact of the matter is, these sets are not cheap, and we should be buying eyeshadow that we'll actually use.

That is where we come in, to give you some handy tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your glorious eyeshadow palette.

PS: you're welcome.

Consider your eye and skin colour

It is a fact that many of us don't want to accept, but unfortunately not all colours suit all skin tones. If you are on the hunt for a new eyeshadow palette, it is important to consider what shades will suit your skin, and make your eye colour pop.

According to celebrity makeup artist Dae Sik Son, "Light, neutral tones best complement cool blue eyes" while muted purples and browns are perfect for green eyes. If you have brown eyes, then Dae suggests "neutral shades like salmon and bronzy golds" to really accentuate your eyes.

Asses all the shades

Picture the scene: you're browsing eyeshadow palettes and you find one that has one specific colour you adore, so you buy it.

We're all guilty of doing this, but it is a total waste of money (and good eyeshadow). It is important to assess all of the colours in a palette before buying it, to ensure that you will use all of them.

The right tools

There is no point in having a fabulous eyeshadow palette if you don't have the right makeup brushes.

Remember, makeup is an art form, so you must use the best utensils in order to achieve the best look. Be sure that you always have a flat eyeshadow brush, a crease brush and a fluffy blending brush.

Day to night

If you want to get the most out of your new eyeshadow palette, you should ensure that it has colours you can wear during the day, and out at night.

Get a palette that can do both, that way you are guaranteed to actually use it all the time.

Use tutorials

So you've bought a gorgeous new eyeshadow palette, but you have absolutely no idea how to use half the colours. We've all been there ladies!

We seriously suggest you spend an evening watching makeup tutorials, that will show you exactly how to use all the colours in your palette. Once you know what to do, you'll find yourself really loving all your new shades.

Expensive is not always best

We cannot deny the fact that we sometimes get blinded by the glitz and the glamour of an over-the-top expensive eyeshadow palette. We buy it because the Internet tells us to. BIG mistake lovelies!

Sometimes, it is actually the cheaper, unassuming palettes that are the better choice. Don't necessarily opt for an expensive brand, have a look in your local chemist… you may be pleasantly surprised!
