When are people going to remember that getting naked on ancient monuments is simply not okay.

Two men were arrested yesterday for taking photos in the complete nip on the ancient site of Machu Picchu in Peru.

The British and French men were put before a judge in court and formally charged with moral misconduct and all for a Facebook cover photo.

The South American heritage site increased police presence in 2014 as a pattern of streaking and nude photos became synonymous with the area.

And it seems they are now taking the offence very seriously.

"Stripping naked at Machu Picchu probably isn't a great idea, unless you want to be removed from the citadel and possibly face criminal charges," said a rep for Ferter Peru Travel to the Telegraph.

"Prudish perhaps, but those are the rules."

Yikes!

A 3-year-old has been touring the country on a mission to realise his dream of becoming a police officer.

Following a big day out at the Garda HQ in Dublin back in September, Ceejay McArdle has been travelling across the country helping the Gardaí out on their daily duties.

And judging from his Facebook page, he is doing a darn good job too.

The Monaghan native suffers from leukaemia and is to be undergoing rigorous treatment until 2018.

But that's not stopping him from having his moment with local police officers who have been taking the sick child under their wing and welcoming him onto the force.

From sectioning off crime scenes to making arrests, we reckon Ceejay definitely has a future in the business.

"Castleblayney's youngest Garda recruit and cancers worst enemy!!" reads his social media page and we can't help but agree.

Even though we reported yesterday that this relationship has officially ended, it seems that drama follows Celebrity Big Brother stars Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell around.

After Jez finally admitted that he did in fact cheat on her while she was still in the CBB house, Stephanie reportedly broke things off with the Irish model.

However, it would seem that she did not take the news well as she was hospitalised yesterday over a severe asthma attack.

While all the drama has been unfolding at home, Steph had been doing some promotional work over in in Majorca when she fell ill.

"Stephanie was admitted to hospital yesterday after suffering an asthma attack. She is currently recovering," said a spokesperson for the actress to the Daily Mail.

"Stephanie was panicked after having a really bad stress-induced asthma attack," added a friend.

"She always travels with her inhaler but didn't have it with her yesterday whilst working so had to be admitted to hospital for stabilisation.

"She's recovering now and feeling much better. It was very scary."

Close pals of the star revealed that Jeremy's confession of cheating was a huge surprise to the former Hollyoaks star.

"Jeremy has point blank denied this until his TV appearance and so it was a massive shock to her when he appeared and announced that without giving her any warning."

The revelation came after Steph was given a first hand confirmation of the cheating rumours from the girl in question, 19-year-old dancer Caroline Pope.

If we know one thing about British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, it is that he is adored by a significant legion of (predominantly female) fans.

So yeah, we reckon the so-called Cumberbitches are all over this seasonal treat.

Because this Easter you can officially buy a Cumberbunny, which is exactly what it sounds like; a chocolate bunny adorned with Benedict's handsome face.

And it looks friggan' delicious.

However, if you thought it would be cheap to nab a edible version of the 39-year-old actor's face, you would be wrong because the tasty treat would set you back over €60.

Still, if you adore a bitta Benedict, it may just be worth it.

Ireland's west coast will once again be home to a blockbuster Star Wars cast and crew this summer, with preparations in motion for Lucasfilm to return to Kerry.

Skellig Michael, off the coast of Kerry, featured prominently in the final scenes of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, and according to new reports, the cast will return to film at Ceann Sibéál on the Dingle Peninsula for Episode VIII.

Building contractors have already begun installing a 1.5km metal roadway to facilitate the transportation of filming equipment to the remote area.

Although the Irish Film Board is keeping official details of the filming plans under wraps, RTÉ note that – according to local knowledge – the cast are expected to film there for at least two weeks in May.

Local landowners have been asked to enter into access agreements with Lucasfilm, while hotel and holiday accommodation owners have also been made aware of the plans.

Star Wars: Epiosde VIII will be directed by Rian Jackson and will see Episode VII cast members Domhnall Gleeson, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega returning, with Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran all rumoured to be on board.

Mean Girls is arguably the greatest teen comedy of our generation, so naturally it simply needed to be turned into a musical.

Thankfully, the film's creator Tina Fey agrees and has admitted in an interview that she is working on it.

We may not have many details yet, but it's safe to say that it is going to be sensational, right Regina?

K.

"My husband [composer] Jeff Richmond and I, [along with lyricist] Nell Benjamin, have been working on it," said Tina when asked about the project.

Obviously, our dying wish is to see Jingle Bell Rock performed on-stage as part of a Mean Girls stage-show, so we are all over this.

But unfortunately Tina remained tight-lipped when asked for more details about the project.

And we all know that is why her hair is so big right now (it's full of secrets).

If you've ventured into your local supermarket recently, then you probably have a fair idea that Mother's Day is approaching, given the large volume of Milk Tray and floral bouquets strategically placed right inside the front entrance.

But just in case that fact had passed you by, we've come up with a few last minute – and decidedly non-cheesy – things to do with your mam this weekend.

Baking, culture, cocktails… you're bound to find something on this list she'll love. And if all else fails, you know where to go to get a cheap bouquet.

1. Baking Masterclass at Le Pain Quotidien
Book yourself and your mam in for an afternoon of eating and baking at Le Pain Quotidien in Kildare Village, where they're running two-hour masterclasses on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's attendees will whip up hot cross buns and speculoos cookies, while Sunday's group will keep things cleaner with raw vegan chocolate cake and five-seeded bread.

You'll be served up canapés during the workshop, plus you can bring home the fruits of your labour along with a special (edible) gift.

Cost is €50 per person. Contact Le Pain Quotidien at Kildare Village on 045 499190 to reserve your space (essential).

2. Women Of Notes/Mná Na Notaí at Thirty Four Lennox St
A photography and prose exhibition featuring some of Ireland's most successful female musicians launches at Thirty Four Lennox St this Saturday, to coincide with International Women's Day. See images of artists like Mary Black, Lisa Hannigan, MayKay, Choice Prize winner SOAK, Heathers and more, all photographed by Ruth Medjber and interviewed by journalist Louise Bruton.

This is the first part of what Ruth and Louise hope will be an ongoing series documenting some of the fiercest and most hard-working women in the Irish music industry.

The launch kicks off this Saturday March 5 at 1pm at Thirty Four Lennox St, Dublin 2. More information here.

3. Pop-up portraits and sketching at Arnotts
Yes, it might seem like a bit of a cop-out to drag your mum out shopping, but Arnotts have a whole heap of (mainly free) Mother's Day events this weekend that will make the trip more than worthwhile.

On Saturday there'll be a pop-up photography studio in-store for that perfect mum-and-daughter snap, while sketch artist Conor Merriman will be on the first floor for a more unorthodox family portrait. Plus mums can grab a complimentary facial, makeover or arm massage at one of the many beauty counters over the weekend.

4. VHI Lust For Life 5k/10k Walk/Run at the Phoenix Park
Kick off your Mother's Day weekend with some fitness down at the Phoenix Park, where over 4,000 people are expected to take part in the Lust For Life walk/run in aid of mental health charity Aware. Even if you're not taking part, head down to cheer the runners on and enjoy the buzz.

More information can be found here.

5. A Very Peculiar Afternoon Tea at The Westin
If you can't get a space for this weekend, we highly recommend booking this in as an IOU. Baked Alice In Wonderland-themed treats, sambos and Hendricks gin cocktails all served up in the gorgeous surroundings of The Atrium Lounge at The Westin. Perfection.

Cost is €34 per person. To book call +353 (0)1 645 1324 or email theatrium@thewestindublin.com.

When we imagine an museum exhibition inspired by the Olsen twins, we're thinking over-sized scarf displays, a guide to working Birkenstocks with socks and a look at every single ensemble they ever wore to a theMET gala.

As well as an in-depth analysis of their days as child stars, obviously

And while there could potentially be an Olsen exhibition, it's not gonna look anything like this.

American art curators Matt Harkins and Viviana Olen are instead proposing an exhibition that will be called The Olsen Twins Hiding from the Paparazzi.

And while it's not what we were expecting, we are definitely intrigued.

The proposed collection will include Laura Collins' paintings of the twins hiding behind various bizarre items in order to escape the media glare.

We're talking the Olsens hiding behind everything from expensive designer handbags and coffee cups to yoga mats.

The exhibition is currently seeking to be funded on Kickstarter and there's only 18 days left to make this wacky vision a reality.

Sounds wonderfully weird to us.

'Move it, football head!'

If these words don't bring you straight back your youth, you will probably not be excited by the fact that Nickelodeon is bringing back one of its most beloved animated characters.

Yep, your favourite kid with the football-shaped head is set to return not for TV but for two feature-length Hey Arnold! films.

And with the original creative genius behind the show, Craig Bartlett, and his team set to helm the franchise, we reckon it is going to be a pretty wonderful trip down memory lane.

The show follows the adventures of Arnold and his street-wise pal Gerald as well as Helga, the girl who tormented Arnold in order to cover up the fact that she secretly loved him.

And in case you haven't been convinced about how great this will actually be, here's a reminder of the groovy opening credits:

Forget haphazardly throwing on your eye-liner in the morning, because according to Drew Barrymore the key to nailing the perfect smoky eye is to apply your liner before you go to bed.

While we are having visions of serious panda eyes, the Hollywood actress has said that she loves the smudged effect of her liner after a good nights sleep.

"After I do my evening skincare routine, I line my outer lower lashes with soft-black pencil before I go to bed," the 41-year-old told Allure magazine.

"It sounds a little crazy, but I wake up with the perfect smudgy eye makeup. I can roll out of bed, do absolutely nothing, and get compliments on my makeup."

We don't know how but somehow, she is convincing us.

While this sounds to us like a disaster waiting to happen, we may just go ahead and give it a go.

What's the worst that can happen? Other than destroying our pillowcases and ending up late for work obviously.
