'Move it, football head!'

If these words don't bring you straight back your youth, you will probably not be excited by the fact that Nickelodeon is bringing back one of its most beloved animated characters.

Yep, your favourite kid with the football-shaped head is set to return not for TV but for two feature-length Hey Arnold! films.

And with the original creative genius behind the show, Craig Bartlett, and his team set to helm the franchise, we reckon it is going to be a pretty wonderful trip down memory lane.

The show follows the adventures of Arnold and his street-wise pal Gerald as well as Helga, the girl who tormented Arnold in order to cover up the fact that she secretly loved him.

And in case you haven't been convinced about how great this will actually be, here's a reminder of the groovy opening credits:

If you were addicted to Nickelodeon in the 90s (who wasn't?) then feast your eyes on this hide-and-seek puzzle.

One Reddit user, Anti-Pugsly, shared a deadly picture that his girlfriend, artist Valeriya Volkova created.

In it is basically a reference to ALL of our fave 90s Nick shows, which Valeriva named Local Flavour.

Check out the picture and see how many references you can find:

It's a bit hard, and some people are able to count up to 31 Nick-related things. We're seeing a few details from The Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, and Are You Afraid of the Dark.

Still stuck? Then compare your findings to this Reddit user, who basically found everything:

Nickelodeon fans seem to just be getting more and more good news today. Earlier it was announced that the old school cartoon was making a comeback in an animated film.

Variety reported that the series was due for a revamp and Nickelodeon are eager for an entirely new generation of cartoon lovers to become acquainted with the beloved series.

Meanwhile, we discovered the actor who voiced the original Arnold has surfaced on social media. We would very much like to become acquainted with him, to be honest.

Lane Toran (AKA Lane Toran Caudell), is a 33-year old actor and musician based in Los Angeles.

While many know him as the voice of Arnold (or at least you do now) he was also a voice actor for Recess, As Told By Ginger and appeared on Malcom in the Middle.

That is not all though, he is apparently said to have co-written a song with Haylie Duff which appeared on her sister Hilary’s album Metamorphosis. The song was called Sweet Sixteen.

Lane also produced a track on The Osbourne Family Album (from The Osbourne's TV series) called Mirror Image

The musician is a dog lover too, and posted multiple videos on Instagram of puppies being adorable puppies with the hashtag #stopYulin2015.

Unfortunately, Lane is also very much in love with his girlfriend Jaclyn Betham. She is an actor and dancer who has performed around the world with multiple ballet companies.

When she was just 18, Jaclyn walked in to a “high profile modelling agency” and requested a meeting. She was signed that day, according to IMDB

It's official! One of our favourite old school Nickelodeon cartoons is on its way back to us.

According to Variety, Nickelodeon is planning to develop a TV movie about the beloved football-headed kid and his crew of misfit friends.

The movie is going to tie up some loose ends that fans were left with when the show ended in 2004 (feeling old now?), including what happened to Arnold's parents.

The executives behind the decision said that they weren't necessarily hoping that nostalgic millennials will watch it, although most of us will probably tune in to see what it's like with Helga, Gerald and the rest of the gang.

"You have to remember people who are going to watch really don't have a recollection of Hey Arnold!," Nickelodeon exec Russell Hicks told Variety.

"You have to make it relevant to them but also nod to the audience that is going to be interested."

There's no release date yet for the Hey Arnold! movie, but while you wait you can watch The Splat, Nick's new block of throwback programmes. Hurrah, we feel young again!
