This is the latest video from the WhatsUpMoms channel on YouTube. These mom’s have released their very own parody of Iggy Azalea’s song Fancy. The song which is called ‘I’m So Pregnant’ pokes fun at pregnancy symptoms. Check it out.
If you went to bed early last night, you may be wondering why you are feeling tired today.
While you may think you are doing your body a favour going to bed early, you are actually doing it harm – kind of.
Your body works on a consistent sleep system and prefers if you go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning.
You need about eight hours of sleep each night, although this can vary from person to person.
However, if you go to bed early one night you may actually wake up feeling tired, even though you caught the extra hour in bed, than you would have if you went at the same time as the night before.
This is down to the fact that a sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes, so if you are going to bed extra early your cycle will be disrupted, leaving you with less quality sleep.
To get the best sleep, count back hours from the time you have to get up and this should be your bedtime.
When it comes to sleep, quantity does not compensate for quality.
It has been reported that former X Factor judge, Kelly Rowland, may be expecting her first baby!
The singer sparked a Twitter frenzy when she was spotted with what fans think is a baby bump during an on-stage performance last weekend.
Kelly and her new husband, Tim Witherspoon, got married on May 9th in a ceremony in Costa Rica which was attended by her cousin, Beyoncé.
We are waiting for the singer to confirm the news – but her online fans already seem to think it is official! The singer is normally not one to shy away from showing off her toned physique, but has been covering it up lately.
Here is the photo that sparked all of those pregnancy rumours – what do you think? Does Kelly have a little something to tell us?
In hindsight, some of these shows are actually incredibly unsuitable for little kids, what were our parents thinking?! Then again, we turned out okay…right?
1. Ren and Stimpy
How this ever got classed as a kid’s show is beyond us. It’s gross and has so many sexual undertones it’s unbelievable!
2. Braceface
The show’s composition of having it’s main character as an insecure teenage girl (Sharon) with braces is bad enough in itself. Throughout the series, Sharon’s braces would often act as magnets causing her to get into embarrassing situations. The show basically taught teenage girls that braces will bring you nothing but embarrassment and unwanted attention.
3. Arthur
There isn’t anything morally wrong with Arthur and his animal friends; he’s a good kid, who sometimes fights with his little sister D.W and gets into trouble, but he always learns his lesson. But he’s no craic. You can feck right off with your library card lads.
4. The Magic Schoolbus
The thoughts of going to school and having your lizard-loving teacher taking you on daily school trips to the past, the universe or wherever was mind-blowing. But on reflection, it’s very possible that Ms. Frizzle was slipping the kids acid in their juice box on the daily.
5. Shin-Shan
In this Japanese magna series, which was usually only shown at 6am, we followed the shenanigans of Shin Chan. A cheeky little fellow, who loved pulling down his pants and sticking sparklers in his arsehole. A bit of a laugh as a child if you ask me, but as a parent? No way.
6. Pokèmon
Animal rights anyone? Anyone?
7. The Wild Thornberrys
Eliza nearly died in almost all of those episodes. Shouldn’t we be teaching children NOT to approach dangerous jungle animals? Like, seriously?
8. The Rugrats
Absolute rascals. This show encouraged its young viewers to use their imagination when it came to adventures. But what it actually taught us was that you’ll always have more fun if you disobey your parents and go for an adventure in prohibited places.
Anna Paquin has revealed her support for LGBT Pride Month with a tweet!
The True Blood actress took to her social media account and wrote: “Proud to be a happily married bisexual mother. Marriage is about love not gender.”
Anna first came out as a bisexual woman back in 2010 for the Give a Damn campaign in association with the True Colour Fund where she declared: “I’m Anna Paquin. I’m bisexual and I give a damn.”
Anna has been married to her co-star Stephen Moyer since 2010. The couple have two children, twins, Charlie and Poppy, as well as Stephen’s children from a former relationship, Billy and Lilac.
Weddings are great – you get to get all dressed up and celebrate your loved one officially tying the knot with their significant other.
However, nothing is perfect, and if there’s one thing that can cause confusion and concern during the lead up to the big event, it’s deciding on a present for the happy couple.
Well, we’ve tried to clear up at least some of the confusion with our guide on wedding gifting – enjoy!
How much money should I give? This depends on your relationship to the couple and can range from €50 – €150 plus. It also depends if you’ve brought a guest, as then the wedding couple will be hosting for two people rather than one. The general rule of thumb is about €100 for a relative or friend and maybe should increase to €150, if you’re really close to the couple.
Can I give a gift instead of money and if so, should I stick to the registry?
Giving a gift instead of cold, hard cash can sometimes seem like a better idea, as you may get lucky and find something that looks really expensive but actually isn’t (win!). But if the couple have a registry then it’s best to stick to it. It’s there for a reason after all!
Do I bring the gift to the wedding or can I send it after?
If you decided to buy the couple something rather than give them money, it can sometimes be awkward to bring it to the wedding as it might be big and awkward. It’s perfectly acceptable to give them their gift after the wedding too, so don’t worry about it.
Sigourney Weaver is returning for the next three Avatar sequels, despite having been killed off in the first film.
Weaver played Dr. Grace Augustine in the first film, but will be coming back in a completely different role for the sequel.
The actress has a close relationship with the director of the films James Cameron, who said in a statement:
“Sigourney and I have a long creative history, dating back to 1985 when we made Aliens. We’re good friends who’ve always worked well together, so it just feels right that she’s coming back for the Avatar sequels.
“Her character of Grace Augustine, as fans know, died in the first movie, so she’s playing a different and in many ways more challenging character in the upcoming films. We’re both looking forward to this new creative challenge, the latest chapter in our long and continuing collaboration.”
Avatar 2 is set for release in December 2016, followed by the third film a year later and the fourth film in 2018.
We know that people grow apart, but was there really any need for this?
Miley Cyrus has seriously upset fans of Selena Gomez when she flung a bizarre cardboard cut-out with Selena’s face on it into the crowd.
The cut-out had a bikini and fish-net stocking drawn onto it as well as a photo of Selena’s face.
I know, we don’t get it either.
The pop star was on stage in Milan, Italy, when the incident occurred. She can clearly be seen holding and dancing with the cut-out of Selena, before flinging it onto the crowd in front of her.
It has been said that the two fell out over Miley’s reported closeness to Justin Bieber which has upset his ex-girlfriend.
While we think it was totally unnecessary of Miley to take such public drastic action against Selena, who is clearly having a hard time at the moment, is there anyone she hasn’t fallen out with over Justin Bieber?!
Lily Cole is a renowned star in not only the modelling world but for acting too.
But despite modelling since the age of 14, Lily has opened up for the first time about the many problems that the fashion industry can pose for many young women.
“The way we present images in general bothers me. So the way that beauty is understood often as being largely Caucasian and largely young is inherently problematic. And the idea of what is fashionable, of what is hot or not, and that being applied to young girls is also hugely difficult. I know how I was when I was a teenager and how insecure most teenagers are.”
Lily said that in a recent model shoot, she loved how she was able to grow out her own armpit hair and wishes the natural look existed in more modelling shoots.
“I did a shoot about six months ago where I grew out my armpit hair and in a small way it felt that I was resisting. Our concept of beauty is so restrictive. We treat it like it’s got an eternal truth to it when it hasn’t. It’s relative to the country we’re in and time period.”
Robyn Lawley, 24, has built her career on having a fuller figure, so when she posted a post workout selfie showing off her new slimmed down frame, fans of the model were not happy.
She was obviously unaware of the controversy her photo would cause as she happily captioned the photo:
“The best kind of exercise? The one when you jump and dance around like there’s no tomorrow to awesome music!!”
The Australian beauty has only recently made headlines for taking part in recreating the 2014 Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover in a bid to send out a healthy body image message.
While we think she looks great in her selfie, we do hope she hasn’t fallen victim to the fashion industry’s model standards!
