Hell hath no fury like Queen Bey's fans scorned!

Chris Brown’s model girlfriend, Karrueche Tran is in hot water this morning after making a cruel jibe about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy.

Blue was the talk of Hollywood yesterday after her adorable appearance with her mom and dad at the MTV Video Music Awards. Just in case you have forgotten how cute she was, here's a reminder:

However, it doesn’t sound as if everyone thought so as Karrueche made some not-so-nice comments while appearing on BET’s 106 & Park. During a skit called “Top six things Blue Ivy thought at the VMAs,” the model said: “I really did wake up like this, because my parents never comb my hair.”

The comment angered a lot of the superstar's fans, known as the BeyHive, to the point that Karrueche had to defend herself, tweeting: “Now y’all know I LOVE me some Beyoncé and Blue Ivy! I didn’t write the script y’all lol.”

However, fans were not ready to forgive and forget, with many attacking the model over her on-off relationship with Chris Brown.

We're sure Karrueche has learnt her lesson – you do NOT upset the #BeyHive!

If you find that you’re still starving no matter how much you've just eaten, it could be the food itself that is the problem. Your body needs fuel to function properly, and making wise choices can be the key to overcoming those after-dinner cravings.

Take note of these five foods that will only leave you feeling hungrier…

1. White bread
Still hungry after that lunchtime sandwich? Your choice of bread could be the problem. White flour is made by removing the most substantial part of the grain, meaning you’re not getting the filling fibre content that whole grain breads have. Swap your ciabatta for some brown soda or rye bread and you’ll notice you feel far more satisfied.

2. Crisps and other salty snacks
Next time you reach for that bag of Tayto to curb those hunger pangs, think twice. The simple carbs in crisps and pretzels are broken down easily by your body, meaning you’ll be hungry again before you know it. The high salt content can also lead your brain to crave something sweet afterwards, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself reaching for the chocolate.

3. Sushi rolls
Sushi might seem like a healthy meal choice due to the presence of raw fish and veg – but be careful what variety you go for if you’re not going to be eating anything else. Many sushi rolls contain mainly sweetened white rice with only a small amount of filling. Once your body has broken down the rice you’ll start to feel hungry again. Try brown rice sushi rolls instead, or skip the carbs entirely and go for sashimi which is just thinly sliced raw fish.

4. Diet drinks and artificial sweeteners
When you sip a Coke Zero or put some Splenda into your coffee, you might be skipping on sugar but you’re just confusing your brain into thinking it’s about to get an energy-filled calorie hit. For this reason, artificial sweeteners like aspartame and sucralose can actually trigger sugar cravings.

5. Sugary breakfast cereals
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so plan it wisely. Rather than reaching for sugary cereals that are bursting with simple carbs, go for a whole grain option that will fill you up for longer.

The was a lot of coverage of Maria Walsh, the 2014 Rose of Tralee, coming out as gay, and many people wondered why this was news. After all, it IS the 21st century and a person’s sexuality shouldn’t be an issue anymore.

However, Ryan Tubridy explained why it was covered in all the papers:

“It’s a massive deal. Not so much the fact that she’s gay but the fact that she is, I think, the first gay Rose.

“And I would qualify that by saying ‘the first gay Rose to come out’. I think when you look at the number of all the Roses down through all the years, do you think she was the only gay Rose?”

Tubridy then did the maths, and revealed that it’s very unlikely that 100% of the Irish rugby squad are heterosexual:

“I say the same thing about the Irish rugby team. Do you think that all 15 of those boys are heterosexual, you know, full-blooded males? Probably not. Statistically one of them’s probably gay.”

However, Ryan says that whoever he is, he won’t be coming out anytime soon, because while it’s easy for people to say that being gay isn’t an issue anymore, coming out to the public is still a frightening prospect:

“Will he come out? No, no he won’t. Why not? Because that’s why this woman is in the papers today, because she’s come out.

“A lot of people I think are still not willing to come out, particularly at a young age. They’re in the public eye, they are concerned by what people will say still.

“So for all the talk of saying, ‘sure look there’s no news in that, sure it’s easy being gay in the 21st century and 2014′, I don’t know about that.”

We don’t think anyone, not even Cheryl, will ever understand why she wore what she wore to the first day of the American X Factor auditions. The purple pants, the orange top, the hair? She just did not look good.

And Simon Cowell agreed.

In a recent interview he’s told how the stress of bringing the show to America meant he wasn’t himself, and when he saw Cheryl, he was shocked:

“I asked her manager, "What’s she wearing, what’s happened to her hair?" He was defensive about it. I haven’t a clue why she turned up like that.”

Neither do we Simon, neither do we. But we never for a second thought she looked like she’d gained weight!

“She’d put on a bit of weight, but not loads.”

Eh, seriously?! She had a bit of extra weight in her hair, perhaps, but that was it from what we can see. However, Simon says that wasn’t the issue (how noble):

“The only way I can describe it is that it wasn’t Cheryl sitting in that seat. She’d lost her confidence.”

Cheryl has opened up since saying she “wasn’t well in the head” at the time, so perhaps getting her p45 was the best thing at the time. It didn't stop her from sending Simon an abusive text ending with “I hate you” though. Simon says:

“It was like when you get a really horrible letter from an ex-girlfriend. The general tone was something along the lines of ‘F*** you, you’ve hurt me, you’ve let me down, I can never forgive you.’

“I shrank. In a weird way I was glad to hear it. It was a week or two after the sacking, and I was glad to hear something. I replied, apologising. I accepted I had made a mistake.”

Thankfully, the two have made up since – which is just as well seen as Cheryl is a judge on this year’s X Factor. Let’s just hope she left those purple trousers in America!

If you find that strict diets only make you crave unhealthy food even more, perhaps it’s time to rethink your weight loss regime.

While there’s never a quick fix for staying in shape aside from eating well and getting enough exercise, you might not realise that a few simple changes to your routine can make all the difference.

So behold, our lazy girl’s guide to losing weight!

1. Have a lie-in!
We know that staying in bed a little longer isn’t possible every morning, but make the most of your days off by catching a few hours extra shut-eye. Too little sleep can negatively affect your metabolic rate, and you’re also more likely to crave sugar when your body is in desperate need of a pick-me-up. So do yourself a favour and enjoy those relaxed Sunday mornings in bed!

2. Keep healthy snacks nearby
Studies have shown that we are more likely to eat whatever is nearest to us when craving a snack. By keeping quick and healthy foods like fruit and nuts nearby, you’re less likely to make your way to the shop for a sneaky bag of Doritos.

3. Take time for each meal
Mindless eating is a sure-fire way to gain weight. If you inhale your lunch or dinner while leaning against the worktop or scrolling through Facebook, you won’t process how much you’re eating and how fast. Ever notice that when you’re standing at the buffet or snack table at a party that you eat far more than you usually would? Take the time to sit down and eat your meal slowly without any distractions.

4. Swap dessert for tea or coffee
If you begin a restaurant meal with a couple of glasses of wine and end it with dessert, you’ve automatically added an extra 500 calories at least to your daily intake. Skip dessert, opt for a tea or coffee instead, and save the Death by Chocolate for a special occasion.

5. Drink a glass of water before each meal
It's easy to mistake thirst for a feeling of hunger. Make sure you’re hydrated before every meal by drinking a full glass of water. This will also fill your stomach a little, ensuring you don’t overeat without realising.

The Emmys recognise excellence in the television industry, but Beyoncé isn’t in the television industry so you can’t help but wonder how they’re going to entertain us for a couple of hours. Well, they gave it a good shot! Here are the bits of the 2014 Emmys that you're going to want to know about:

They may not have had Beyoncé, but they did have Amy Phoeler, who was introduced as Beyoncé by host Seth Meyers, and strutted up to the stage in true Beyoncé style:

Julie Louis-Dreyfus got a very unexpected kiss from Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston on the way up to accept her Emmy, which was very, very strange (he wanted to remind her of the time they kissed on Seinfield – awkward!)

This exchange between True Detective stars Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey:

Harrelson: "So you won an Oscar, Sexiest Man Alive, and now you want the Emmy too? I think that might be kinda a bit greedy.”

McConaughey: "You should have gratitude for what you have and not envy what I do.”

Harrelson: “Well, I’m grateful you had all the plagiarised parts."

Eh, what?!

Gwen Stefani messed up her words, which is always fun.

Sofia Vergara was made stand on a pedestal and spin, to give us something pretty to look at, which resulted in some serious backlash from feminists everywhere.

Julia Roberts got an awful shock when her face flashed on screen for no apparent reason.

Lena Dunham wore this dress:

Hayden Panettiere revealed she’s having a baby girl! Awh!

And Billy Crystal’s moving tribute to Robin Willams was definitely the highlight of the night.

And if you're wondering who won – Breaking Bad and Modern Family were big hits, but if you run into any of the cast from Orange Is The New Black – say nothin'. They didn't do so good!

Wow, these are some steamy pics! Actor Gerard Butler didn’t hold back in showing affection for his new mystery girl during a trip to the beach in Malibu, California recently.

The 44-year-old couldn’t keep his hands off the unknown blonde woman as the two passionately kissed in the car park.

The bould Gerard definitely put on a show for photographers as he tried to kiss the bikini-clad lady here, there and everywhere.

This isn’t the first time the actor has been spotted making a full-on PDA. During World Cup celebrations in Rio de Janeiro last month, grainy snaps of Gerard throwing the lips on another mystery blonde were published online.

Is this the same woman that got him so excited at the beach? That remains to be seen!

The star definitely has a lot to be happy about as he begins shooting for new film London Has Fallen next year, the sequel to the hugely successful Olympus Has Fallen. But maybe keep your hands to yourself next time, Gerard!

The gorgeous Blake Lively turns 27 today! We’ve always been a fan of the Gossip Girl actress’ style, and her outfits are made all the more impressive by the fact that she famously doesn’t rely on a stylist for those stunning red carpet choices. That’s pretty incredible, given Blake's track record of amazing looks.

Here are ten of our favourites…

1. Metallics on the red carpet
Blake looked the picture of modern elegance in this Gucci gown at the 2013 Met Gala. Layered black satin and some silver embellishment, balanced out by a simple strapless top half. Just perfect.

2. Eclectic tribal prints
This neon yellow and black Marchesa number is a brave choice but Blake pairs it well with some classic Louboutin pumps, for an evening event at Lincoln Centre in NYC. We love this fun look!

3. Florals with a modern twist
A sheer black top and denim skinnies might be a fairly toned-down look but Blake stands out from the crowd in these flower-print jeans from Mother.

4. Hollywood glamour
This Zuhair Murad nude chiffon dress with black beading makes for a breathtaking red carpet look. Blake is a true blonde bombshell with those long wavy locks.

5. Sparkling jewel tones
We need this entire outfit in our wardrobe! Electric blue trousers and a simple white top are the perfect way to style this gold blazer, which Blake wore on the set of Gossip Girl. The structured shoulder pads add a touch of retro Eighties style too.

6. Sleek and sexy
Blake was the star of Cannes this year with a series of incredible red carpet choices. This Bordeaux-coloured silk and chiffon Gucci gown was a great look for the festival’s opening night premiere. And that thigh-high slit – wow!

7. Total elegance
This black-and-white Gucci number was another Cannes show stopper. Blake kept her hair and make-up sleek and simple, allowing the dress to do all the talking.

8. Flirty frills
This navy Chanel mini dress with sheer panelling and a cut-out at the back was a fun choice for the Twelve premiere back in 2010. Nude Louboutin heels worked perfectly with this cute look.

9. Casual weekend chic
Even when dressed down, Blake is totally classy, teaming a relaxed denim jacket with black leather-panelled leggings and biker boots. A great look for lazy Saturday afternoons.

10. Beautiful in blue
Blake mixes lots of textures here but everything is tied together so well. The turquoise leather skirt is tailored perfectly to her shape, avoiding any potential fashion disasters. A thumbs up from us!

Australian singer Iggy Azalea wowed crowds at the VMAs last night with her style choices, both on the red carpet and onstage with Rita Ora.

So it’s no surprise that high-end footwear label Steve Madden would choose today to reveal that the singer will be working with them on a new range of shoes.

The collection is due to launch in February 2015 but the designs are already in the planning stages. “We’re working on the collection now,” said a spokesperson for Steve Madden, adding that Iggy has “an extremely gifted eye for fashion.” We agree… just check out her incredible Versace dress from the red carpet last night!

This might be the star’s first time launching her own range, but she has already made quite a name for herself in the world of fashion, having just began a new gig hosting the MTV series House of Style, as well as starring in various ad campaigns. And of course, we can’t forget her Clueless-themed music video for Fancy. Waaay existential!

Everyone has a few childhood home videos lying in the attic that they’d rather never saw the light of day again, but this old clip of Nicki Minaj is all kinds of cute.

Before Nicki was a show-stopping diva with awesome clothes and rainbow-coloured hair, she was just little Onika Maraj from Queens, New York. Far from wanting to be a star, Onika’s dream was to be a nurse, so that she could “help people less fortunate than I am.”

No mention of Drake there so!

Nicki has spoken in the past about her difficult childhood and her wish to help those around her. “I would go in my room and kneel down at the foot of my bed and pray that god would make me rich so that I could take care of my mother,” she told Rolling Stone back in 2010.

Well, at least that wish came true for the star.

Dream big, we say!

It may seem like you’ve hit the jackpot when you and your best friend both are both looking for a new place the same time. Housemate – sorted. Careful though, as you might find that living with a close pal is not all it’s cracked up to be.

To start, from past experience I definitely agree that it pays to think long and hard about who you plan on living with, be it someone you’ve never met before or a best bud.

When it comes to total strangers, the decision can be a bit of a gamble. Either you’ll find that the dynamic works perfectly, or you’ll get to the stage where you dread arriving home to make small talk with someone you really have nothing in common with. Been there, done that. Never again.

Living with friends can be an equally dangerous choice though. A great friendship does not necessarily equal a great living situation. Sure, you’d tell your pal anything, and the two of you could spend hours discussing the merits of Gilmore Girls versus Dawson’s Creek. But it might not be so easy to speak up when your BFF has avoided cleaning the kitchen for six days, or has invited fifteen people back for an after-party on a Tuesday at 3am.

Before moving in together, it can be hugely beneficial to discuss some basic house rules. Four male friends of mine became housemates last year. At the beginning, there was always a huge pile of dishes sitting in the sink any time I visited, which everyone studiously avoided. Now though, they’ve developed a rota system – each time someone does the washing up, they write their name and the date on a piece of paper hanging on the fridge, so that it’s easy to see whose turn it is to get the Marigold gloves on. Sure, it might seem a little OCD to an outsider, but it’s a genius way to avoid awkward conversations and potential tension.

Another key thing to keep in mind is that, no matter how close you are with your future housemate, you’ll still need some time apart. If you’re already in college or at the office together every day, you might not be running home to see more of each other in the evenings. Think back to other times you’ve been in close quarters, even for a few days at a festival, on a holiday or on a project at work. If the two of you got on like a house on fire, that’s definitely a positive sign. If things didn’t go quite as smoothly as you might have liked, perhaps becoming housemates is not the best plan.

Of course, the only way to truly know how well you and your pal will click as housemates is to bite the bullet and sign that lease – because if things work out, you’ll never regret it. There’s nothing like coming home after a crappy day at work to find your bestie waiting with a cup of tea and Netflix lined up for a House of Cards marathon. And no one is better qualified to give you dating advice at 3am than your closest friend.

If you’re in two minds about living together, I'd definitely recommend thinking through the pros and cons, but do remember that with some common sense and good communication, most potential problems can be ironed out easily.

Chloe Grace Moretz has opened up about how filming If I Stay took its toll emotionally.

The film tells the story of Mia, a girl who has an out of body experience and has to decide between waking up after a car accident, to a life very different to what she had before, and not waking up at all. The trailer is enough to set us off, so we can only imagine what it was like during filming!

In a Twitter Q&A one fan asked if she ever had to stop a scene because of the high emotion, and Chloe replied: “I would never stop a scene, but i def had scenes where i couldnt stop crying after, also i would go home and cry at times.

“It was very personal, and very emotional, i spent weeks having to imagine the loss of a family and that was very hard 2 do (sic).”

Poor Chloe! It must have been such a huge change from her previous films Kick-Ass and Carrie, though she says she loved it:

“We had so much fun going to concerts and hanging out on weekends as a cast, also we went xmas shopping (sic).

“I truly loved every single person, bc we played a family we became very close (sic).”
