Zayn Malik

It's seems Christmas has come early for Little Mix fans this year as the band have just released not one, but two new songs, Lightening and Weird people, from their new studio album Get Weird, which is out next month.

The girls have been in the limelight a lot the past few months following Perrie Edwards infamous split from Zayn Malik.

They also caught our attention when they stormed out of a radio interview earlier this week – so it's good to see that they are getting back to what they do best: music.

Spotify users can listen to Weird People here:

But wait, there's more! The girl band have also released a new Christmas remix tune, Love Me Like You.

As you'll no doubt agree, the new tracks sounds awesome and there's nothing quite like a festive song to get us in the (very early) mood, right?

It's been two months since Perrie Edwards split up with Zayn Malik, and it seems she's not ready to start moving on just yet.

This morning a rep for Perrie flat-out denied rumours the Little Mix singer was seeing someone new.

Over the weekend, The Mirror published a story suggesting that Perrie was seeing TOWIE cast member Joey Essex, after hitting it off with him at the Pride Of Britain Awards last week.

"It's very early days, but Perrie likes Joey because he makes her laugh," a source reportedly told the paper.

"They are just getting to know each other and taking things slowly, but Joey is already smitten."

However Perrie's rep insisted there was nothing going on between the pair, telling MailOnline, "Perrie is not dating Joey."

Zayn and Perrie's split came at the end of a whirlwind few months, with Zayn quitting One Direction back in March following rumours he had been unfaithful to his fiancée while in Thailand.

The One Direction star was pictured with his arms around another woman, and just days later flew home to Perrie for crisis talks.

However things seemed to be back on track for the pair by the summer – they even signed deeds to a €6m home together in July, just a month before their split.

With such a hectic few months behind her, it's no surprise that Perrie is happy to have some time to herself for a while.

Despite expressing a desire for normality, since departing from One Direction back in March, Zayn Malik has rarely been out of the spotlight.

Top of the agenda is, of course, his love-life – he dramatically split from his Little Mix fiancée in August and has been linked to a string of beauties ever since.

The 22-year-old also departed from Simon Cowell's Syco label, instead signing a solo contract in July with RCA Records.

However, it seems now the singer-songwriter may be tempted to explore new avenues: namely the hit-and-miss world of reality TV.

HollywoodLife.com exclusively reports that the Bradford-native is being majorly courted by producers to star in his own show.

All the big hitters are expressing an interest too – including the likes of E! which, of course, is responsible for the Kardashians.

The website states that the potential series would “document his time after being in One Direction and working on his new music.

“It will counter when new music comes out, so it’s not going to be any time soon, but within the year.”

Zayn is currently rumoured to be courting gorgeous 20-year-old Burberry model and Kanye West protege Neelam Gill.

They duo actually first met back in March while he was still engaged to Perrie Edwards, but lately they are said to have become more romantically involved.

When Zayn Malik took to Instagram over the weekend to share a selfie of himself and a mystery blonde, fans went into meltdown mode.

Within minutes a possible identity was suggested for the Perrie lookalike in the snap, who is seen pouting her lips as she looks in Zayn's direction.

But now it appears the 1D fandom got it wrong, as the woman in question has been unmasked as someone entirely different.

Zayn's new flame is not in fact Teen Wolf star Gage Golightly, but an American PR girl named Carlyn Bryan.

"They've socialised in the same place over the past year but their bond has only progressed recently," a source says of the rumoured relationship.

According to The Sun, Carlyn refused to comment when asked about her romance with Zayn, and is apparently keen to keep things "under wraps" for as long as she can.

Indeed, the LA-based blonde made all of her social media accounts private over the weekend, preventing any prying eyes from seeing her pictures.

As for Gage, she posted to Instagram on Sunday evening to set the record straight about any wrongful reports.

"Hi everyone just wanted to clarify that I am not the girl in the photo with Zayn Malik," she wrote alonside a series of kissing face emojis.

"But what a lucky girl! Love y'all!"

Since calling off his engagement with Little Mix's Perrie Edwards back in August, fans have been waiting to see who Zayn would set his sights on next.

And despite doing some serious Twitter-stalking of Kylie Jenner a few weeks back, it seems Zayn's had his heart stolen by Carlyn.

Naughty Boy might be getting along well with Beyoncé right now, but in not so distant past he was in the middle of very public feud with Zayn Malik.

The two were reportedly working on music together that would launch Zayn’s solo career after he left One Direction, but things took a turn for the nasty. Now Naughty Boy is speaking out for the first time on his apparently ongoing feuds with the boyband and one former Directioner.

He sat down with Lorraine Kelly to talk about his recent collaboration with Beyoncé but when Zayn and the boys came up, he couldn’t hide his irritation.

Talking about how it became “a bit of a circus,” Naughty Boy explained that the reason it all came about was because of how 1D fans accused him of trying to split up the band.

He did admit that he got “a bit caught up” in the whole ordeal.

"When Zayn left the group, I was accused of being the reason why he left. People thought he left because he wanted to work with me.”

He compared the row with Zayn and the band as being in primary school and said he doesn’t feel that One Direction are a band:

"One Direction aren't even a band. They're more like an economy. Not a band.”

He added that he’s not “a tabloid guy” and he doesn’t want to be in the papers, he just wanted to be known for his music, not celebrity feuds.

"I hated the [One Direction spat]. I want to put it all to one side now and move on,” he said before adding that now that he’s working people like Beyoncé he feels like he’s doing his masters.

"This whole year has been such a journey and to end on a note like this – I couldn't ask for more.”

Instagram and 'the selfie era' have thrown the personal lives of celebrities wide open to fans, and we love how Interview magazine have embraced that in their new issue.

Rather than conducting a professional photoshoot, the new #Me Issue features eight cover stars – including Kim Kardashian, J-Lo, Madonna, Zayn Malik and Selena Gomez – posing for selfies. Inside, the magazine features another 150 celeb smartphone selfies from stars like Miranda Kerr and Kendall Jenner.

While Zayn Malik's topless cover image definitely sent our heart rate skyrocketing yesterday, it's Victoria Beckham's one that really gave us a smile.

The mum of four posed for the magazine in a purple bikini, raising the camera to make the other members of her family the main focus of the holiday snap. In the background, David and 16-year-old Brooklyn can be seen engrossed in their phones, while a flash of four-year-old Harper's hair is visible to the left.

Victoria's photo looks like it may have been taken in Amanjena, the lavish Marrakesh hotel where the Beckham family celebrated David's 40th birthday back in May.

Either way, we love the relaxed vibe of the style queen's selfie.

Other cover star favourites so far are Selena Gomez, who bared her teeth for a wild-child pose:

Jennifer Lopez looks downright stunning in a black leotard with her hair pulled back in a sleek chignon, holding her gold iPhone up to a mirror:

Unsurprisingly, reality star Kim Kardashian chose to go topless for her selfie, though of course it's nowhere near as internet-breaking as her 2014 Paper shoot:

All in all, we're loving the new issue of Interview so far.

OK, so we've seen him topless plenty of times before. But that certainly doesn't mean that we don't welcome with open arms another, brand new topless shot of Zayn Malik.

Which is why we got pretty excited upon seeing the September issue of Interview magazine.

Featuring a selection of high-profile names – the likes of Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and Miley Cyrus all have their own respective covers too – Zayn's shot shows him lying back on a bed, his shirtless body on full display.

Branded the #ME issue, Interview is this month honouring 150 of the most powerful social media stars from the worlds of entertainment, music and fashion.

And there's no doubt that Mr Malik certainly holds plenty of social media sway.

On Instagram, and despite being a fairly sporadic user, the former One Directioner has 1.8million followers. Meanwhile, over on Twitter that number has hit a cool 15.6million.

From spats with Calvin Harris, to favouriting week-old pictures of Kylie Jenner, and following Selena Gomez, his social media activity is certainly chronicled and commented upon with earnest.

So it's no surprise that the 22-year-old has been singled out by the influential publication.

Last month, Interview featured Justin Bieber on its cover – and for this month, the eight cover stars have been given creative freedom over the images used in the issue.

So we guess it's safe to say that Zayn must like being topless. We support that entirely.

'Round SHEmazing Towers, we can't help but notice that mega successful singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is fond of a high-profile celebrity spat

Yes, whether it's Katy Perry (obvs), Nicki Minaj, or Tina Fey AND Amy Poehler (unforgivable!), Tay-Tay certainly isn't afraid of jumping in for a scrap when she feels slighted (which seemingly is quite often).

The 25-year-old has even managed to get her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, in on the act: a week ago he didn't like a comparison made online between his Shake It Off love and Miley Cyrus.

When the message was retweeted by none other than Zayn Malik, formerly of One Direction, Mr Harris let his feelings be known in rather spectacular fashion.

And now it's a case of another week, another celebrity shade throwing bonanza. This time, Taylor has been pitted against Canadian songstress, Avril Lavigne.

Here's the back-story (pay attention): Swifty liked a post on Tumblr which suggested she was nicer to her fans at meet and greets than many other singers – the 'other' examples used being Kanye West, Britney Spears, Katy Perry (eek)… and Avril herself.

When this came to Ms Lavigne's attention, she quickly amassed a montage of her own.

Depicted was the musician engaging warmly with the many followers she has met over a career which spans close-to a decade-and-a-half. It included the caption: "So let's keep it all about the love and stay positive."

And another tweet stated: "Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans," – a message her 19.3million followers responded positively to.

Cue Mr Harris jumping in. "She didn't judge you she doesn't judge anyone!

"She was only having fun with her fans, not trying to compare you," the 31-year-old Scottish DJ said addressing the Sk8r Boi singer, 30, directly on Twitter.

And needless-to-say, it didn't take long for respective fans to express their outrage at the opposing side's actions. Indeed, social media has been positively alight since the incident.

Today, a source also told HollywoodLife.com that Calvin reckons Taylor is involved in so many feuds simply because "everyone" is jealous of her.

"Calvin thinks it’s plan and simple, everyone is jealous of his girl," the insider explains.

"Taylor is constantly being picked on for every little thing she does and Calvin’s advice is to stay positive and not take it personally."

Well, in that case we can't wait for next week's instalment of Tay-Tay's topsy-turvy world. Surely we're due a Britney-Swiftney spat soon?

Rumour has swirled ever since Zayn Malik unexpectedly departed the band in the spring.

This evening, and despite notching up a huge hit in Drag Me Down – their first release as a foursome – it seems that One Direction will indeed go their separate ways in March of next year.

The decision was seemingly made during crunch talks in London last weekend.

However, The Sun, which is claiming an exclusive on the story, also says fans should not lose all hope: the guys intend on making more music together some time again in the future – albeit after they've pursued solo material and projects over the course of at least a year.

A source close to the boyband told the newspaper: "The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband.

"They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 percent behind the decision."

The source added: "They fully intend to get back together at some time in the future."

Liam, Niall, Harry and Louis have several high-profile gigs lined up for the rest of the year – performances which they will honour. The band will furthermore regroup after Christmas to polish off their various contractual commitments.

The Sun also says that the 1D time-out has nothing to do with Mr Malik's departure.

"This was the plan with or without Zayn," the insider revealed. "In fact, the band have been making amazing music and been incredibly happy without Zayn.

"Of course they would have preferred that he had stayed in the band, but they would have taken this extended hiatus even if he hadn’t left."

The band was formed on the UK version of The X Factor in 2010. Their debut studio album Up All Night was released in November 2011 and topped the charts in 16 countries.

Their forthcoming fifth album – from which Drag Me Down is taken – will be unveiled later this year, and it had been expected that One Direction would embark on an arena tour in 2016 to promote the release.

As part of their current On The Road Again tour, they play three live dates in Dublin in mid-October, before moving to Belfast on October 20.

Just weeks after her break-up with Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards is understandably still upset and shaken by the entire thing.

Perrie is currently touring around American with Little Mix as they promote their latest single Black Magic.

The singer has been putting on a brave face so far on their tour and when asked how she was doing in an interview with James Cordan two days ago, she replied "You know what. I'm good."

However she seems far from good at the moment as this video clip has surfaced showing her getting deeply upset on stage during a performance of the band's song The End.

The video shows Perrie looking gorgeous in a white playsuit, but her emotions get the better of her as she attempts to sing a solo note.

Jesy, one of her band mates, quickly rushes to her side saying "It's been a long day, we've had no sleep" although fans are well aware that she is still dealing with the after math of her engagement ending.

The crowd quickly got behind her and started chanting "We love you Perrie" as she really struggled to pull her self together.

This week, Zayn Malik allegedly threw shade Taylor Swift's way – retweeting a message that implied the songstress is more focused on making money than using her fame for good.

It was a move that prompted Tay-Tay's boyf Calvin Harris to launch a full-on attack on the former One Directioner… though the Scottish DJ later relayed somewhat, complimenting Mr Malik on his "great voice".

Still, it's certainly not the first time that 25-year-old Ms Swift has been involved in a tiff. In fact, trouble and feuding seems to follow the singer-songwriter.

Here, we chronicle the highs and lows of her top six fall-outs:

Taylor Vs Katy:

The original feud! We can hardly remember what kicked it all off at this stage – something to do with Katy, 30, allegedly stealing her former friend's dancers for a world tour (why were the dancers so eager to leave, we'd like to know).

And even now, it seems it's the stand-off that refuses to die-down.

In fact, just late last month, Ms Swift brought on stage with her during a concert in Massachusetts an over-sized shark – a prop Katy famously used during her Super Bowl performance. She evidently thought it was hilarious; others were less enthused.

Of course after Taylor's high-profile Bad Blood video, we're guessing that a kiss-and-make-up scenario isn't on the cards anytime soon.

Taylor Vs Miley:

We love that Ms Cyrus, 22, speaks her mind – and speak her mind she certainly did during a recent interview with Marie Clare.

“I don’t get the violence revenge thing,” the singer said referring to Taylor's Bad Blood video. “That’s supposed to be a good example?

"And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”

Now, HollywoodLife.com reports that Ms Swift knows Miley doesn't like her (FYI: Katy and Ms Cyrus are mates – and Tay-Tay thinks the former turned the latter against her).

In fact, Swifty is SERIOUSLY concerned that the Wrecking Ball singer is going to have a pop at her at the VMAs in two weeks' time: Miley is presenting; Taylor is up for nine awards.

We can't wait.

Taylor Vs Nicki

Speaking of the VMAs – Taylor was left red-faced when she assumed Nicki Minaj's VMA Twitter rant was about her (it's not always all about you, Tay-Tay).

Ms Minaj, 32, had been complaining that her mega-hit Anaconda didn't get a Best Video nomination (which actually does seem a bit strange).

"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies," her online complaint began, "you will be nominated for vid of the year." Cue Taylor jumping in, taking it all personal.

Predictably, within 24hours Katy Perry just couldn't resist elbowing her way into the situation with her own online contribution.

Wowsers. Anyway – Twitter went properly into meltdown over the whole situation, and Tays later took a chill pill and admitted that she had probably jumped to conclusions.

She also invited Ms Minaj to join her on stage "anytime," (pretty sure the woman sells out her own concerts, mind). The duo subsequently seem to be on good terms – for the moment anyway.

Taylor Vs John

The Pennsylvanian singer and a guitar-weilding John Mayer had a brief romance – although things didn't end too well. Then she wrote a song, Dear John, which he claims is a bit mean.

Lines include: "Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?" and "I lived in your chess game, but you changed the rules every day."

These days, Mr Mayer says she just ignores him.

"You can see me at the Grammys doing what I do best, being avoided by Taylor Swift," the 37-year-old said while hosting the Late, Late Show back in February.

John and a certain Katy Perry, of course, have had an on-off thing since 2012 – which probably doesn't help matters.

Taylor Vs Apple and Spotify

Taylor famously withdrew her music from Spotify because she says they weren't giving her enough dough – though the likes of U2, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney don't seem to mind. Anyhoo, her argument is: "Music is art, and art is important and rare.

"Important, rare things are valuable. Valuable things should be paid for."

So, what's the alternative? Well, funny you ask… because in early June Apple began its music streaming service – a platform that, until Tay-Tay bemoaned its payment policy just a few weeks after its launch, many folk were unfamiliar with.

"We don't ask you for free iPhones. Please don't ask us to provide you with our music for no compensation," she said in an open letter.

The tech corporation quickly did a U-turn, as confirmed by executive Eddy Cue on Twitter.

And so in the end everyone involved seemed rather happy – especially the woman herself, who just days after the incident announced that she'd be releasing her mega-selling 1989 album… on Apple. Yup, everyone's happy, so.

Taylor Vs Tina Fey AND Amy Poehler

We hardly know where to look – comediennes Tina and Amy are living legends, after all. But a couple of years ago, Swifty just didn't find them all that funny

Why? Well, the duo were hosting the Golden Globes in 2013, peppering the gig with plenty of tongue-in-cheek gags. Over the course of the evening, they even made fun of Miss Taylor's dating history.

Tays didn't seem to see the funny side though and later told Vanity Fair: "there's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women."

Ouch.

In contrast, for example, the likes of Hollywood legend Leonardo DiCaprio managed to smile and say nadda at the receiving end of similarly scathing remarks.

Indeed, last year he did just that when Ms Fey announced his arrival on the Golden Globes stage with the properly hilarious: “And now, like a supermodel’s vagina, let’s all give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio…"

Just last month it seemed romance could be blossoming for Selena Gomez and Niall Horan, but now it turns out she has her eyes on another 1D member. Well, a former 1D member to be exact.

Speaking on Manchester radio station Key 102 FM yesterday, Selena couldn't help but gush a little about Zayn Malik. "I love him, he's awesome," she said excitedly, adding that she would be there for him if he needed support.

"I know Zayn, so it's almost like if he would ever want to reach out, he knows that he could," Selena told the station.

And while Zayn's 1D departure has seen him burn quite a few bridges in the music industry, Selena reckons he's made a good choice by going it alone. "I think that's so exciting for him to go and figure out what he wants to do [in his solo career], but I don't know what that is. I think it'll be pretty exciting," she said.

Earlier this week the One Direction star raised a few eyebrows when he suddenly started following Selena on Twitter, making her his latest celeb social media prey. The follow came days after Zayn was caught slyly favouriting an old photo of Kylie Jenner… a rookie mistake, as any social media stalker knows.

Speaking about the unexpected addition to her 32m Twitter followers, Selena admitted she hadn't even noticed. "I had no idea what that was until somebody else asked me," she told BBC's Chris Stark and Scott Mills.

"Obviously I know Zayn, though, so it’s not like a weird thing. I just didn’t know who followed me,"

Justin better watch out all the same…
