Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing star Karen Clifton (née Hauer) has broken her silence about her ex-husband's relationship with Stacey Dooley.

Karen and Kevin split up in March of last year, but have remained on good terms ever since. The pair even work alongside one another as professional dancers on the BBC One show.

Karen opened up during an interview with FUBAR Radio about Kevin and Stacey's romance after the pair won the series in 2018.

"I don’t really know anything about that," she said of their relationship. "When we go into rehearsals we’re literally going crazy with all the routines. But you know what he looks extremely happy, so I’m happy that he’s happy."

Speaking about working with her ex, she said; "Most people think that we’d be like 'oh I don’t like it', but no. Not at all. We laugh. There is no drama. I don’t like drama baby llama! I’m happy, he’s happy, let’s all be happy!

"I’m so proud of him and all the things he’s been doing lately. For us, it’s never been a problem and it never will be a problem. We’re really cool."

The dancer added;

"We absolutely love working together. We’re dancing together. The nice thing is that we don’t have partners that we are dancing with all the time, we switch partners around, so we all get a feel for everybody else."

32-year-old Stacey Dooley was dating Sam Tucknott throughout the 2018 competition, but the pair broke up shortly after she won. The journalist then began seeing her professional dance partner, Kevin.

Kevin Clifton and Karen wed in 2015, but she hasn't publicly commented on her ex's new romance until this week.

Stacey's ex-boyfriend, Sam, told The Sun Online that he accused Kevin of being a "rat" and a "snake" in a FaceTime video call after discovering he had been dating his ex.

He blames Kevin for his break-up with girlfriend-of-five-years Stacey, who he said he was planning to propose to.

Professional dancer Motsi Mabuse will complete the judging panel. Motsi, who is the sister of pro-dancer Oti, previously worked on the German version of Strictly so she’ll fit right in.

We can’t wait for the rest of the lineup to be revealed. Who do you want to see on the show this year?

Strictly season is officially kicking off, and the excitement has been building up every since the announcement that Oti Mabuse's sister will replace Shirley Ballas as a judge on the show.

28-year-old Latin dancer Nancy Xu will take the place of departing pro dancer Pasha Kovalev, which is another change to the regular line-up of pro dancers and judges.

The first three Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestants appear to have been accidentally leaked on TV ahead of the schedule today on Good Morning Britain.

Radio presenter Iain Lee was discussing the upcoming announcement on The One Show when he let slip that Sam Allardyce, Jamie Laing and Anneka Rice would be taking part in the BBC dancing series.

When hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway asked him about the news, Iain replied: "They are going to announce the first three people on a show called The One Show – it’s going to be Sam Allardyce, Jamie Laing and Anneka Rice."

Ben asked: "They are announcing it later and you have already announced it?" Iain wasn't overly worried, turning to the camera and saying; "Sorry One Show! Sorry Alex Jones!"

They fear that there will be bias when it comes to dishing out scores and that Motsi will go easy on her younger sister, 28.

Motsi and Oti have already been in a similar position when Oti was a pro on the German show for two series and and has already experienced being judged by her sibling.

“Motsi is totally impartial,” said a source. “She will be scrupulously fair, as she always was with Oti on the German version.”

Amt Hart has slammed Maura Higgins for attempting to pressure Curtis Pritchard into having sex with her on TV.

The ex Love Island star left the villa after being dumped by the professional ballroom dancer, and can't stand watching him on the show ever since.

The 27-year-old has spoken out against Maura after Curtis rejected her advances in bed, leaving the Longford lass dissatisfied without any fun.

The Irish grid girl complained to the girls afterwards that she wasn't getting any orgasms from Curtis, who said he'd been too tired for sex.

Amy, his former 'half-girlfriend' who he embarrassed on live TV, has jumped to his defence and said he'd always vowed not to have sex in the villa.

Speaking to The Sun Online at Kisstory in London, she said: "If she’s waited that long she can wait a couple of days more I think."

She continued;

"We’re all different people in that villa and if that’s what she wanted to ask him, well that is fine, she has been going on about how frustrated she is the whole time she has been in there. But there’s only a couple more days to go."

Many have speculated that Curtis won't go all the way on TV so that he can score a job on Strictly Come Dancing.

It was reported that he will not be returning to Dancing With The Stars Ireland, and will appear as a guest judge on Drag Race UK.

The 23-year-old dancer was the subject of cruel headlines this week after he was rumoured to have requested new clothes as he can no longer fit into any of his original outfits.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a source said: “He had to ask for some new ones because he is struggling to fit into them now.

“Curtis normally burns off a lot of calories because he's a professional dancer, but obviously in the villa he's not been training."

That doesn't seem like anybody's damn business, plus how can anyone know his sizing when he's in an isolated villa?

AJ Pritchard has jumped to his brother's defence after last night's explosive episode of Love Island, where Anna Vakili branded Curtis Pritchard a 'narcissist'.

The pharmacist blasted fellow islander Curtis after he told her boyfriend Jordan Hames to pull India Reynolds aside to confess his feelings for her behind Anna's back.

Professional dancer Curtis encouraged Jordan to act on his emotions, even though Hames had only asked Anna to be his girlfriend two days previously.

Of course, the entire WORLD wondered what on earth Curtis was thinking when he gave Jordan that appalling advice.

Irish charmer Greg won the episode by asking him; "What was your thought process behind that?" The legend jumped out.

Anna was understandably raging at Curtis after she discovered what he'd done.

Maura was none too pleased with him when he couldn't tell her how he would act if he landed in the same situation as Jordan.

Curtis even told Maura that Jordan was BRAVE to confess his feelings to India. Why does anyone go to him for advice, honestly? His behaviour with Amy alone should have sent up red flares.

28-year-old Anna fumed at Curtis for his advice to Jordan last night, saying: "I just don't know if you are a good person really, because good people don't move like that.

"You move like you're such a good person and you're not. A good person would never say to anybody to do that to their other half," she continued.

"Do you not care about me a little bit? I have been living with you for the past two months, you obviously don't care about me. You're a narcissist, that's my opinion of you." YES BISH.

After hearing Anna’s comments, Curtis’ younger bother, Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Pritchard took to Twitter to leap to his defence.

The 24-year-old seemed to suggest that Anna did not truly understand the meaning of the word. He wrote: “Does Anna know the definition of narcissistic?

"Narcissist: Having or showing an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one's physical appearance. #loveisland @loveisland.” Shadier than a palm tree.

Maura Higgins also quizzed Curtis on the advice he gave out. saying; “So in this situation, if I was your girlfriend, you would do the same thing?”

"I don’t know what I’d do in that situation,” Curtis replied. “Oh wow,” Maura said, as she gets up to walk away from him, adding: “That’s great, that’s great”. The man needs to find the door.

What do you think, are you team Pritchard Bros or Team Anna/The Rest of the World?

Big changes are afoot on this years' show, with new judge Motsi Mabuse revealed just the other day. Motsi is the older sister of Strictly pro Oti Mabuse, and is taking over from Dame Darcey Bussell.

The Strictly Come Dancing drama rages on.

This news brings about doubts about fellow pro dance Kevin Clifton's part in the show.

He has been at the centre of his own media storm since his relationship with his celebrity partner, Stacey Dooley, was announced.

However, a BBC spokesperson has insisted Katya won't be treated any differently to Kevin.

The said, ''We wouldn't be treating her any differently to how we treated Kevin. It's not like he is guaranteed a celebrity partner this year.''

It looks like we'll have to watch this space and see the drama unfold – which we're not complaining about at all…

Strictly Come Dancing might be off the air but the drama keeps on giving.

It came as a huge surprise to many (and some, not) when the 2018 winner Stacey Dooley's boyfriend Sam Tucknott announced to the world that Stace had dumped him for her dance partner Kevin Clifton.

While many had speculated while they were on the show that Kevin had become fond of Stacey, it seemed like she was happy in her relationship with Sam.

The pair had been together five years and lived in their Brighton home – however, Sam has revealed that he knew something was off towards the latter part of the dance contest.

Sam told The Sun that before Christmas Stacey had joined Kevin for an evening out rather than him and that Christmas Day was strained and tense.

The pair agreed to call it a day in March but Sam saw a message from Kevin on Stacey's phone that showed that they were in a romantic relationship.

It read, ''I love you'' followed by a love heart.

Stacey reportedly told Sam, ''You saw I didn’t start entertaining and texting him (Kevin) until I split up with you. I was not with you when we started it all. I did fall for him but when we were done. I will tell you anything you want to know.”

Now the 32-year-old investigative journalist has taken to social media to set the record straight.

She wrote, ''Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are 2 sides to every story. I haven’t got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I’ve read on here.''

She continued, ''Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward."

Kevin has yet to comment on the situation but with this being the 15th couple to fall foul of the show’s curse, it looks like Strictly is getting a bigger reputation as a sort of celebrity Tinder rather than a dance competition.
