If the fact that Zayn released his first ever solo song outside of One Direction yesterday wasn't enough, we were also hit with one of the steamiest music videos of the year so far.

And what made it even steamier? Well, the fact that it involved a lot of Zayn and his brand new girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.

But 'Zigi' are certainly not the first celeb couple to get it on in a music video. Check out these other couples who got up close and personal:

1) Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachay

The marriage may not have survived but the wondrously cringe music video will stay with us forever.

2) Cody Simpson and Gigi Hadid

Yep, sorry Zayn but your are not the first bae that Gigi has co-starred with.

3) Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney

We didn't even realise that Taylor, aka Gaga's future fiance, co-starred in this video for You and I.

4) Tyga and Kylie Jenner

From the inappropriate lyrics to the cringe-worthy video, who could forget Kylie's stint with Tyga in the video for Stimulated.

5) Travie McCoy and Katy Perry

Yep, Katy Perry looks adorable in the video for this Gym Class Heroes tune. Katy dated the band's frontman Travie McCoy for two years until they broke up in 2008.

6) Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo

Adam Levine stalks his own wife in the video for Animals.

7) The Weeknd and Bella Hadid

And not to be left out, Gigi's little sis Bella got in on that music video action with her boyfriend the Weeknd.

While we are all sitting around waiting for Beyonce to release new music, this may just appease us until we get a hold of her new stuff next month.

Queen Bey has collaborated with Chris Martin's Coldplay for the undeniably catchy Hymn for the Weekend.

Our favourite pop star is kitted out in some gorgeous costumes for the video and well she slays it as expected.

Bey is set to perform with Coldplay during her hotly anticipated Superbowl half-time show taking place in February.

It hasn't been confirmed whether this is the song that will be performed, but we will hazard a guess that it probably will.

Watch the super cool video below:

The wait is finally over!

After a tonne of speculation and delayed release dates, Rihanna has finally revealed the first single from her hotly anticipated album.

The single entitled Work, features rapper Drake and is to be the first single from the album may be released as early as next week!

While there's no video as of yet, the track was premiered on US radio just this morning and we have to say, we like it.

With Rihanna's new tunes this month and Beyonce's latest record most likely out next month, we will have a tonne of party tunes to slay to for the rest of the year.

The song is currently only available on the Jay-Z's streaming service Tidal or to preview and purchase on iTunes so it's still pretty difficult to access.

You can also listen to a snippet of the track below:

We know Beyonce is releasing music in early 2016.

And two years after the surprise release of her eponymous fifth album, we know that she is inclined to drop an entire record of new songs and videos with zero notice.

So to help minimise the total shock of being hit with a total new set of whopper tunes in one go, we're examining all the evidence to figure out exactly WHEN Bey is going to hit us with her music.

1) February, people

While no official announcement has been made and no release date has been specified, all media outlets are reporting that the album should be upon us sometime in February.

2) Special super bowl announcement

The new album may coincide with Beyonce's much anticipated performance at the Super Bowl.

"Beyonce is ready to drop her album at any time," a source has told the Sun.

"But there’s a very strong chance the announcement could happen during the Super Bowl next month.”

Bey is set to perform with Coldplay during the much coveted half-time show.

3) She's waiting for Adele fever to die down

One thing is for sure, Beyonce knows what's up.

According to the same source, she is waiting for the right time to drop her new tunes and that means waiting for all the hype surrounding Adele's latest release, 25, to die down.

"[The album] was wrapped up at the end of 2015 but she held off on a release as a code of honour to Adele, so their records didn’t clash."

"Beyonce doesn’t have the pressure of releasing an album and is doing bits here and there because she and her team know it is Adele’s time to shine."

4) It's ready to go

One thing is for sure, the whole album is completely finished.

"Beyonce has totally relaxed her schedule and pushed back her album, which is now complete and ready to go,"said the source.

Just give it to us!

5) No single

As most musicians hit us with one or two singles a few months before an album releases, the fact that there is pure silence coming from the Beyonce camp has us guessing that this will be a surprise album release like her last one.

However, there is strong possibility she will sample songs at her Super Bowl show.

6) New videos

Beyonce has however been filming music videos.

French website MCM reported that Beyonce was shooting scenes for a music vid in mid December on a week long shoot.

The rumours were never substantiated but a French choreographer added fuel to the fire when he posted a casting call for a Beyonce video on his Facebook.

The post was quickly deleted, but it is safe to say that Bey is about to hit us hard.

Zayn Malik has opened up about his days in One Direction, his current relationship with his former band mates and what he plans to do next.

But it certainly does not sound like he has a lot of love for his 1D brothers.

In an interview for his cover of Billboard magazine released online today, the 22-year-old singer revealed that his former best pals made no effort to remain friends with him.

"The truth of it is… you can think one thing about a situation and the total opposite can happen. I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven’t received calls from a lot of people."

"I’ve reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it’s stuff you overcome in time.”

Ouch.

He also revealed that life in 1D involved a lot being told what to do and say.

"We weren’t allowed to say certain things, or word [lyrics] the way we would want to… My argument was: People are more intelligent than that. They want to hear what’s real, so why don’t we write some stuff that we’re actually going through?"

"I’ll come down here and record maybe seven songs a night… That’s because I’m enjoying what I’m doing. I’m not censoring myself anymore, so I’m not tired. I love it."

On the main reason he felt he had to leave the band, he admitted that the music and the public persona were just not him.

"I genuinely enjoyed [the band] and did whatever I could to be myself within that, but it’s just not where I sit as a musician."

"The other boys’ taste was generally indie rock. It’s good music, but I don’t f— with it. That was never cool where I was from."

But now for the burning question. Did he buy 1D's new album?

"I’ll be honest. I thought the first single was quite cool. I heard the second single and… yeah, I didn’t buy the album."

It may be one of the biggest hits of the nineties as well as possibly the greatest debuts of all time, but did we ever pause to wonder what the phrase "Hit me baby, one more time" actually meant?

Because, well, it is a weird sentence.

Some speculated if it was a reference perhaps to a kinky sexual fantasy or whether poor Brit was suffering from domestic abuse.

Well, we need not speculate anymore as the songwriters have finally revealed exactly the thought process behind this now infamous lyric – and it's totally innocent.

According to new book The Song Machine by John Seabrook, the writers of the tune were in fact Swedish and they thought that the word "hit" was actually slang for "call".

So in fact, Britney simply wanted her boy crush to phone her up sometime.

Yep, according to the book, songwriters Max Martin and Yami Racoub came up with the phrase simply out of a language barrier. Perhaps the writers were referring to the phrase "hit me up", which unfortunately does not make much sense if you take out the "up".

Apparently, as the Independent reports, the song was originally intended for girl group TLC who turned it down over it those questionable lyrics.

"I was like, I like the song, but do I think it’s a hit? Was I going to say ‘Hit me baby, one more time’? Hell no!" said former TLC member, T-Boz in 2013.

It seems that this wasn't an issue for Brit who was just dying to make her stamp on the music world. However, record label bosses did change the title to simply …Baby One More Time to avoid any controversy.

Well, we are glad that the song turned out as it did because "Call me baby, one more time" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

They rocked us with their are they/aren't they love affair when they came out of the jungle but now it seems that George Shelley and Ferne McCann are moving their romance aside… to make music together.

The TOWIE star abd Union J singer have confirmed that they are hitting the recording studio in the new year and will start writing a song together.

George even compared Ferne to the late Amy Winehouse. He told The Mirror, "She reminds me of Amy Winehouse – she has a similar voice, and she has similar characteristics."

"Ferne has such a good voice, I want her to write a song with me. She’s really got something, and it’s going to be really cool to pull it out of her," he added.

We've never heard Ferne sing before, but we sure hope she can because a duet from these two is certainly something to look forward to!

5 Seconds of Summer are getting a LOT of attention after they graced the cover of Rolling Stone in a divisive interview last week.

And while the cover itself is enough to turn heads (they did indeed STRIP), it seems that the content itself was more than enough to the band trending on Twitter on Friday.

The band discusses how they are often not taken seriously in the music industry.

"Seventy-five percent of our lives is proving we're a real band. We're getting good at it now. We don't want to just be, like, for girls. We want to be for everyone. That's the great mission that we have."

"I'm already seeing a few male fans start to pop up, and that's cool. If the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and all those guys can do it, we can do it, too.

Apart from comparing themselves to the Beatles, the quote that really got chins wagging was the bands revelation that they have hooked up with fans in the past.

"When you put four young dudes on a tour bus, playing theatres, then arenas, you're going to have sex with a lot of girls, I guess. We had a good time."

And while many took the interview in a bad light, it seems that the Australian's bands fandom had their back as #WeAreProudOfYou5SOS started to trend on Twitter.

And it even seems the band themselves were not totally pleased with their portrayal in the interview as displayed in Michael Clifford's tweets.

He even wrote in a since deleted tweet: "How about we talk about the music and the fans…the only reason a band is a band."

One Direction have only been gone a hot second and one member is already sharing the fruits of the bands dreaded hiatus.

Liam Payne has revealed that he co-wrote the song The Night We Met, the new single of Louis Walsh's boyband, Hometown.

The six Irish lads can be seen in the video breaking into the Olympia theatre in Dublin to perform the song on stage.

While the single has been doing the rounds on Irish TV and radio, it was not until Liam tweeted the song that we realised it was co-written by boyband royalty.

One Direction announced that they would be taking a one year hiatus from the group in order to take a well deserved break and pursue solo projects.

Hometown were put together by Louis Walsh in 2014 and just released their debut self-titled album.

While it seems that Rita Ora has been around forever, she has only in fact ever released one album and that was back when she burst on the scene in 2012.

And now, she seems to be filling her time as a judge on popular talent contest shows such as The Voice UK and the X Factor.

However, we may now have a reason as to why she does not seem to be doing much on the music stakes.

According to Billboard magazine, it has been reported today that Rita has just filed a lawsuit against her label Roc Nation over claims that they are "stifling her career."

Rita, who is in contract with Jay-Z's label until 2019, says that the company is sitting on a number of tracks that are yet to be released.

In the suit, Rita claims to have been "orphaned" by the label after they turned their primary interests from music management to sports management.

"When Rita signed, Roc Nation and its senior executives were very involved with her as an artist,” the complaint reads.

“As Roc Nation’s interests diversified, there were fewer resources available and the company suffered a revolving door of executives. Rita’s remaining supporters at the label left or moved on to other activities, to the point where she no longer had a relationship with anyone at the company."

While Rita is waiting to be able to release her US debut album which is apparently ready to go, she is funding all of her own projects, TV performances and shows.

We hope this all gets sorted out so we can get some more of her catchy pop tunes on the air asap.

All is fair in love and war, right? Well, Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, doesn't seem to think so.

Nicki's ex-lover has been very critical about the singer in the past and is not shy about airing his anger towards her. Earlier this year he even released a song, Love the Most, in which he explained how unhappy he was that Nicki hid their relationship from the spotlight.

But now the rapper is claiming that he ghostwrote her 2014 album The Pinkprint. TMZ reports that Safaree is planning to sue the popstar for what he believes is his fair share of profits from the album.

According to the website, Safaree is going to present "a boatload of proof" that he was involved in writing Nicki's music, which includes videos, voice memos and eyewitness accounts.

He also claims that Nicki previously acknowledged his work by giving him credit on her first two albums.

Ms Minaj has yet to respond to the reports, but given their previous history, it won't be long until she speaks her mind.
