M&M

Okay, so we are big Eminem fans here at SHEmazing HQ, so when a recent tweet came to our attention, our minds were pretty much blown.

Tweeter Evan Reeves took to the social media site to serve the public with an educational tidbit on one of the most successful rappers of the 00s.

His tweet reveals exactly why Eminime has such a distinguishable moniker.

It turns out that it's all down to his initials, M and M for Marshall Mathers.

This revelation has given a whole new meaning to the lyrics: 'Hi, my name is – WHAT – may name is – WHO – my name is…'

The Internet has responded with astonishment, and left the Eminem veteran's eyes rolling.

Okay, so we guess it's pretty obvious when you think about it, but we just never thought about it.

Others have said that the name originated from a rap duo Marshall was in with school pal Mike Ruby, and that together Mike and Marshall formed M&M, later changed to Eminem.

Either way, mind = blown.

Evan's tweet is currently going viral, with over 19,000 likes and just over 4,000 retweets.

As you might have guessed, we are major chocolate lovers here at SHEmazing! so naturally we were incredibly excited to learn that Mars is set to release caramel flavoured M&Ms.

At first glance it may seem strange that the chocolate giant has never attempted to channel this much loved flavour into its famed red and yellow sweets before, but this is actually because creating the right caramel for the job has taken Mars years of planning.

According to Delish, engineers were tasked with finding a caramel which would fill M&Ms without causing the iconic treats to collapse.

This process was very time heavy, but at long last chocolatiers are confident that caramel flavoured M&Ms are good enough to join the brand’s permanent collection.

While it is not yet clear when they will arrive in Ireland, the new M&Ms will hit US stores in May 2017.

Anyone with a sweet tooth knows there’s nothing quite like a good McFlurry, but one of the famous ice-cream’s classic flavours could soon be no more.

According to Reuters, the M&M McFlurry could soon become a thing of the past because the makers of M&Ms, Mars – yes, that’s the same Mars who brought us the Mars bar – thinks the dessert contains too much sugar.

Apparently Mars is worried because a number of desserts which feature its products contain a person’s full daily sugar allowance in just one serving.

Among those desserts is the M&M McFlurry which has a whopping 89g of sugar per 340g serving – that’s 1g short of all the sugar a woman is allowed in a day.

At this stage the extinction of the M&M flavour is just an idea so there's no need to panic.

But even if it the move is given the go ahead, we're sure there'll still be plenty of ways to get your sugar fix.
