The start of August marked the start of autumn, and it's safe to say that many of us are losing our summer glow.

We say goodbye to short skirts, and t-shirts and hello to umbrellas and jumpers.

However, even when it's dark and dreary, one thing that I find super refreshing is having a nice golden glow.

This may come from my latest holiday to Spain (I wish) or from this new beauty that's hitting stores – Rose Gold Goddess.

A small lick of this will not only leave you smelling like a summer party (think watermelons and flowers mixed together), but it will also give you the most GORGEOUS glow.

The limited edition dry-oil shimmer arrived in stores yesterday, and coming in at €11.95, it's something that's on our beauty list.

Try it, you won't be disappointed.

It was praised by Kylie Jenner last year, and now it seems that another Kardashian sister is on to the wonders of Cocoa Brown tan.

The brand, which is owned by Irish beauty expert Marissa Carter, has been praised by the reality star's make-up artist, Joyce Bonelli in the past, and it has become apparent that Joyce introduced the tan to the reality family.

Marissa took to Instagram to share a picture of Khloe Kardashian using Golden Goddess Shimmering Dry Body Oil.

She captioned the snap, "Koko loves Cocoa." Cute.

The beauty brand attracted A LOT of attention when the youngest Kardashian/Jenner, Kylie, shared a photo on social media with the Cocoa Brown bottle in the background.

But, they aren't the only American stars using it, 90210's Jessica Lowndes is also a huge fan, showing off the products while on holiday.

“Will it ever end?” We hear your cries as yet another contouring development is brought before us all.

The answer seems to be, for now anyway, a resounding no. Contouring is the way of the future, people have been saying this for a quite a while now so we might as well all just climb on board. Teen Vogue are the latest to praise the trend, and they only trust Cocoa Brown with their contour.

The next phase in the contouring cycle is: ‘tontouring’.

Developed by none other than Marissa Carter of Cocoa Brown, tontouring is “the opportunity to wake up looking naturally, perfectly contoured,” the beauty mogul explains to Teen Vogue.

Yes, Cocoa Brown is not just for us and a certain Kardashian-Jenner sister, Teen Vogue are huge fans too.

This approach to contouring uses make up brushes and different shades of tan (Marissa suggests the mousse formula to avoid clogged pores) to create “dimension.”

Using a foundation brush and tan to create a base glow, she then uses a darker shade and a contour brush under the cheek bones to make them appear higher and more defined.

According to Marissa the biggest perk of using fake tan as a contouring tool is that you only need to do it once a week, the tan lasts longer than your usual make up.

As the magazine points out though, if you are going to try the tontouring approach you should probably take some time and do it right for the first application:

“Self-tanner is not always the easiest formula to work with.”

Indeed, nobody enjoys having streaky fake tan anywhere, especially not on your face. We do love our Cocoa Brown though. We really want to trust that it would never let us down.

Since its launch two-and-a-half years ago, Irish tan brand Cocoa Brown has amassed some pretty A-list fans.

From Rosanna Davison to Vogue Williams and Millie Mackintosh the €7.99 range has proved a big hit.

And now none-other than Kylie Jenner is getting in on the trend.

The reality TV star took to Instagram this evening to show off her gorgeously bronzed skin – the result of the Marissa Carter-developed brand.

"Love my @CocoaBrownTan from @MarissaCarter when I want a fast tan," the 17-year-old said.

In the image she can be seen donning a pair of tight black shorts and matching crop-top, while three Cocoa Brown products can be seen in the background on Kylie's bed. Within an hour, it had notched up 675,000 likes of approval as well as some 26,000 comments.

The brand's founder and CEO, Dubliner Marissa Carter, recently gave birth to her second child, a daughter. She already has a two-and-a-half year old son.

This evening, she Tweeted her excitement at the news – and lightheartedly alluded to her struggles to get her eldest to sleep without a soother.

Last month, in an exclusive interview with SHEmazing! Marissa revealed that her cosmetics line had recently expanded into Sweden.

It is already available in the UK, US, and Australia – as well as Ireland.

In a week that saw her announce the arrival of Cocoa Brown into Australia, cosmetics entrepreneur Marissa Carter has exclusively shared yet more exciting news with SHEmazing!

“We’re landing in 400 stores in Sweden,” she reveals. “Cocoa Brown tan from next week will be hitting Coop, which is one of the largest retails there.”

Incredibly, the announcement represents the fourth international expansion for Cocoa Brown: the Irish brand is already available in the US and UK, as well as Australia. Celebrity fans include Rosanna Davison, Millie Mackintosh, and Vogue Williams.

Still, Marissa explains that she made the Swedish distributor work hard before signing a deal with him.

“A young Swedish guy set up his distribution company two years ago and he’s been fighting and fighting with me for Cocoa Brown exclusivity for ages.

“I kept fobbing him off, but he kept at it. Eventually I told him bluntly: ‘Look, I only do business with people I trust, so before we sign anything I’ll have to meet you. But I’m also nine months pregnant, so if you want to make this happen, you’re going to have to come to me. And I’ll probably only have an hour to spare as my schedule is pretty hectic right now.’

“I’m sure he thought I was a right so-and-so, but he jumped on a plane to Dublin regardless. We met for an hour at the Hilton hotel by the Grand Canal and by the end he had persuaded me that this was a good deal to make.”

The 31-year-old, who lives with her husband, toddler son, newborn baby daughter, and pet dog in south county Dublin, also explains that the response to Cocoa Brown’s launch in Australia earlier this week has been incredible. “There are so many expats over there, so there’s been a warm welcome, certainly.

“One young woman sent me a Tweet telling me that she’s delighted – last time she was at home in Ireland she had to drag ten bottles of Cocoa Brown back to Australia with her!”

She’s hoping to launch there properly in September, and says she’ll make a holiday out of the trip too. “My husband, Ronan, has family in Australia, and I have two uncles and cousins there, so we’ll combine work with a little break.”

In the meantime, Ms Carter, who only gave birth to her daughter Isabelle last month, says she fully intends on stepping away from the business for a few months.

“Everyone thinks I’m back at the desk but I’m not – I’m definitely taking maternity leave.

"I’ve worked really, really hard over the last two years so I won’t be rushing back.”

Until then, Marissa’s looking forward to embracing her heels again. “It’s been an age since I’ve worn heels – but just today I put on a pair again. I’m definitely back in that sense!”
