There's a very good reason why most of us guard our phones with our lives, and that ladies is because our friends, family and colleagues CANNOT be trusted.

Proving that this is also the case in Hollywood, X Men actress, Jennifer Lawence, recently revealed that she played an EPIC prank on former bae, Nicholas Hoult, and we are dying over it.

Chatting on The Graham Norton Show, the 25-year-old star explained that she got hold of Nick's phone and  pretty much went to town on him in front of his co-stars.

"I had Nick’s phone and we were in a group text message with Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Josh Helmananother actor in the movie," she began.

"So I wrote this really serious and emotional text and was like, ‘Guys, this is super embarrassing’ — and I knew how to kind of write like Nick," she continued,

“And I was like, ‘I know this sounds silly, this is really embarrassing but, have you guys ever, like — god this is so embarrassing — lactated from your nipples?”

Understandably concerned for poor Nick, J Law recalled that the lovely James instantly replied, saying "James was like, ‘Dude, that sounds really serious, like honestly, you should go to a doctor. You might have a hormone problem.’”

Unfortunately, our very own Michael was less interested in Nick's nips, responding: “I don’t see what this has to do with anything."

Jeez Michael, a bit of compassion…

We all know Jennifer Lawrence is the ultimate BFF, and she showed it last night by rocking out at Adele's concert.

The actress turned up with Emma Stone (#Goals) and while Adele sang Rolling In The Deep, J-Law totally rocked out.

But, Ms Lawrence wasn't the only celeb at the show last night.

Yep, see the man rocking out with Jen on the left? That's Woody Harrelson. And it was also rumoured that Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry enjoyed a date night there, too.

Every year Vanity Fair treats us to it's Hollywood issue and calls in the top stars to feature on it's extended front cover.

The issue tends to come out just in time for the Oscars and usually features a number of the nominees for the top awards pictured all together by renowned fashion photographer Annie Liebovitz.

This years issue comes at an awkward time as rumblings of diversity issues are rippling through the film industry and the Academy Awards have vowed to make historic changes to the prestigious awards ceremony to tackle the problems.

In an interesting move, editors decided to features only women on this year's cover and our very own Saoirse Ronan made the cut.

Featured among the likes of relative newcomers Alicia Vikander and Brie Larson, also snapped are cinema stalwarts such as Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren.

The main front cover of the issue went to Hollywood darling Jennifer Lawrence alongside Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis and Jane Fonda.

Saorise is up for the award of Best Actress at this years ceremony for her turn in the film, Brooklyn.

Jennifer Lawrence's friendship with Amy Schumer might be the one getting all the attention of late, but the Oscar-winner also counts another A-lister among her circle of BFFs.

Actress Anne Hathaway has taken to social media to hit back at those criticising J-Law for her behaviour at this year's Golden Globes.

Jennifer came under fire after telling a journalist to put his phone away while he interviewed her in the Globes press room, immediately sparking a reaction online.

Some said Jen's response was justified – the journalist was apparently snapping pictures while interviewing her – while others blasted her as downright rude.

Anne is firmly in Jen's camp, and said as much in an open letter on Facebook this week.

"Dear the Internet," she wrote.

"It's become pretty clear that the Jennifer Lawrence 'scolding' was taken out of context and that she was dryly joking with a journalist who was indeed using his phone to take photos of her.

"Let's not continue the sad but common practice of building people – especially women – up just to viciously tear them down when we perceive them to have misstepped.

"Jennifer is a beautiful, talented, wildly successful, popular, FOUR TIME OSCAR NOMINATED young woman. Please let us not punish her for these things.

"Sincerely, a J-Law fan #‎supportstrongwomen #‎imwithher #‎whycantwegiveloveonemorechance."

Though she's generally quite private online, this isn't the first time in recent weeks that Anne's shared something personal on her social media accounts.

Two weeks ago the pregnant star took to Instagram to beat the paparazzi to the first "Anne's baby bump" shot, after spotting photographers tailing her during her New Year's beach holiday.

"Just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed," she wrote alongside a snap of her in a bikini.

"I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy."

Kudos to Anne.

Jennifer Lawrence may have wowed in a red Dior gown at last night's Golden Globes, but her behaviour throughout the night didn't get quite the same level of praise.

The actress, who scooped the Best Actress In A Musical Or Comedy award for her role in Joy, publicly hit out at a reporter for using his phone in the Press Room.

Interrupting the reporter midway through his question, Jennifer said, "You can’t just live your life behind your phone bro. You can’t do that, you’ve gotta live in the now."

When the interviewer, who didn't appear to have English as his first language, tried again to ask how Jennifer felt about her chances for the Oscars, she interrupted once more to say, "We're at the Golden Globes, if you put your phone down you would no that."

Cue nervous laughter from the assembled press – and a fair few angry tweets:

Another reporter stepped in to defend the actress though, saying she was well within her rights to complain:

It didn't seem to be Jen's night in terms of pleasing the press, however.

Earlier in the night, the actress' oh-so awkward interaction with Katy Perry during an E! interview on the red carpet had also raised eyebrows for some viewers:

We doubt Jennifer lost too much sleep over the criticism though – she was no doubt too busy celebrating her huge win.

Jennifer Lawrence has solidified herself as our ultimate girl crush after an incredibly sincere and hilarious interview for her cover of Glamour magazine this month.

The Oscar winning actress spoke about what it is like to have a body that does not conform to the ideals of Hollywood.

"I’ve got tits and an ass. And there are things that are made for skinny people—like a lot of embroidery, or it covers a lot—and those make me look fat."

"I have to show the lumps. If you have boobs, you have to show [them], like, “These are boobs. This isn’t cellulite.”

And how exactly would she describe her style?

"Slutty power lesbian. That is literally what I say to a stylist…. I don’t know if that’s offensive—"

While Jen does not have any man in her life at the moment, the 25-year-old admitted that she was just not that gone on dating.

"I don’t, like, date a lot. I don’t meet a lot of guys who I want to go on a date with. I’ll find a guy attractive maybe once a year. But I’m not a lonely person.

"Me not dating someone is not a lack of anything in any way. I feel completely fulfilled. Yes, when I spark with someone, it’s exciting, but I definitely don’t need that."

The Kentucky native also confirmed that she finished the first draft of a script she is working on with best pal, Amy Schumer.

"Amy’s always wanted to live on Martha’s Vineyard, and we saw this house, and we’re like, 'This is where we’re gonna Grey Gardens, and we’re gonna grow old and crazy together.' That's our life plan."

And while she LOVES her job, she does find it troubling and hectic from time to time.

"I do have an idea. I think that we should be allowed time off.  Yes. Three months. 'Oh, it’s my three months off. You can’t photograph me.' "

"But I hate the 'movie star blues.' We are so lucky, and I love my life. I wouldn’t take any of it back for anything. So I don’t like complaining about it."

Bosom buddies Jennifer Lawrence and Natalie Dormer have revealed that they are planning a road trip around Ireland for some point in 2016.

And it seems that Jennifer Lawrence is pretty excited about it.

According to the Irish Sun, Game of Thrones star Natalie has convinced her Oscar winning co-star from the Hunger Games that Ireland is the place to be.

"Natalie adores Ireland and talks about it all the time."

"And I've never been so we're hoping to do a trip, even a cool road trip there next year. She's been talking about it and saying 'C'mon Jen, I know you'd love it', and I think it could be fun."

And what do the pair plan on doing once they hit the emerald isle? Everything, apparently.

"If we do it, I'd want to see everything, all the touristy stuff, wear those big green hats and go to pubs. Definitely drink Guinness and go to the Guinness factory. You know, I'm going all in."

Natalie has spent a significant amount of time in Ireland filming for the television shows Game of Thrones and the Tudors and is also engaged to Dubliner, Anthony Byrne.

And what does JLaw think is going to be the best part of the trip?

"Apparently, well [Natalie] told me this, there's like on paparazzi there, and everyone's so relaxed. So you can totally let your hair down. That sounds amazing to me."

We all know Jennifer Lawrence was one of the absolute stars of 2015, but what she has hidden up her sleeve is very interesting, indeed.

Jen appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and he certainly got some gems out of her.

In the video she tells him about smoking pot before the Oscars, her PDA with Liam Hemsworth (swoon) and what she thinks about Justin Bieber.

When asked, "would you ever tap that?" Jennifer replied, "I'm going to say a hard no." Go on Jen!

If you love J Law, then this is one interview you have to watch.

Hunger Games fan? Prepare to get VERY excited, because the franchise's greatest will-they-won't they love story has finally become a reality.

Yes, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth are dating, and they're not shy about it either.

The superstar duo were spotted out for dinner at The Waverley Inn in New York, with eyewitnesses saying there was PDA-aplenty.

"Liam had his arm around Jen for most of their meal and she was resting her head against his shoulder," Heat magazine reports.

"They looked very cosy and were touching the entire time."

We. Cannot. Deal.

Adding to the serendipitous mood of it all was the fact that Jen and Liam were joined for dinner by their co-star Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta in the Hunger Games series.

Josh was said to be in "good spirits" according to other diners – meaning he didn't mind playing third wheel for the evening.

It's unclear when exactly Jen and Liam's romance kicked off, but the pair have not been linked to anyone else for the last six months at least.

Prior to hooking up with Liam, Jen was dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, but he too has moved on, with actress Annabelle Wallis.

As for Liam, he has been notably single since ending his engagement with Miley Cyrus in 2013, aside from a brief romance with actress Maika Monroe.

It's hard to say whether Jennifer and Liam are in it for the long haul, but seeing as this romance has been four years in the making, we certainly hope so.

Two more top names in Hollywood have come out in favour of our beloved Jennifer Lawrence and we can't say we blame them.

James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe have revealed exactly what they think of JLaw in a recent press interview for their new film.

The handsome duo both agreed that they admired Jen's bravery to speak out and in particular for addressing the gender pay gap that exists in the film industry.

"Jennifer kicked this thing off and I respect that lassie so much," said James.

"She's proper brave in real life… and she's proper brave when she does her interviews."

Nawh!

Jen recently penned an open letter in which she questioned why she was consistently earning less than her male counterparts (in particular referencing the female cast of her film American Hustle) and whether the fault rests on her own shoulders.

"I’m over trying to find the 'adorable' way to state my opinion and still be likable! F**k that.

"I don’t think I’ve ever worked for a man in charge who spent time contemplating what angle he should use to have his voice heard. It’s just heard."

The Scottish actor and former Harry Potter star, who are doing the rounds promoting their latest film Victor Frankenstein, were certainly aware of the issues regarding gender pay in Hollywood though James did not see the positives of actors in the industry becoming transparent about their wages.

"There is definitely an issue and maybe it would be helped by everybody just outing what they earn but I don't want to start putting figures on actors heads," he said.

"I know that there is a massive discrepancy with how women get paid to men but I'm not comfortable with telling the world how much I've got in the bank."

But Daniel defo agreed that there was an issue: "As a progressive liberal industry, we need to sort that shit out."

Well we just hope that JLaw continues to stick it to the man.

Taylor Swift's famous #GirlSquad is definitely the power crew of 2015.

Its members span careers (models, singers, actresses, writers), countries (England, USA, New Zealand) and of course boyfriends (Calvin Harris, Jack Antonoff and now Zayn Malik).

But after Jennifer Lawrence formed something of a female celeb triple threat with Emma Stone and Adele earlier this week, we're wondering if Taylor might have something to worry about.

Could J-Law and her crew really overtake Tay's Squad? Let's examine the evidence.

Without further ado, here's a rundown of Taylor and Jen's BFF situation.

Jen's Squad

Amy Schumer
Jennifer and Amy revealed back in August that they were writing a screenplay together. What's more, they apparently talk every day, with Jen calling Amy "the coolest chick ever."

Emma Stone
Okay, Emma and Taylor have hung out a few times too, but there's something about the Emma-and-Jen combo that is giving us serious friendship goals.

Adele
She's a beautiful singer and she also happens to be downright hilarious. We reckon Jen is on board with Adele's no-bullsh*t attitude, too.

Emma Watson
"Jennifer Lawrence, I love you so," wrote Emma after reading the actress's essay about the gender pay gap. And just look at them there, sharing a face-palm moment:

Taylor's Squad

Selena Gomez
Taylor and Selena have been besties for years, and have gotten through break-ups, new relationships, and some serious career drama together. They're in this for the long haul.

Karlie Kloss
Taylor calls the former Victoria's Secret model "a little ray of light". Admirably, Karlie's even okay with being a third wheel to Taylor and Calvin Harris.

Gigi Hadid
Gigi showed the ultimate BFF allegiance earlier this week when she dissed Taylor's ex Harry Styles on the red carpet.

Lena Dunham
This pair first connected via Twitter in 2012. But Lena admits, "Long before she was my friend, she was my friend in my head."

So who wins out?

Well, Taylor certainly takes the lead in terms of numbers – Lorde, Cara Delevingne, Ellie Goulding, Lily Aldridge also all count themselves as her pals – but we reckon Jennifer Lawrence wins in terms of sheer hilarity.

Adele AND Emma Stone? At one table? C'mon, people.
