Following the news that her ex-boyfriend had been one of the unfortunate victims of Nepal's catastrophic earthquake this weekend, much loved TV star Sophia Bush paid tribute to the man she dated for 10 months in 2014.

Opening up on the tragic demise of Google executive, Dan Fredinburg, Sophia wrote: "There are no adequate words. Today I find myself attempting to pick up the pieces of my heart that have broken into such tiny shards."

Revealing what made Dan special, Sophia said: “Dan Fredinburg was one-of-a-kind. Fearless. Funny. A dancing robot who liked to ride dinosaurs and chase the sun and envision a better future for the world."

Explaining the impact Dan had on her life, Sophia revealed: "He was one of my favourite human beings on Earth. He was one of the great loves of my life. He was one of my truest friends. He was an incredible brother, a brilliant engineer, and a damn good man."

In a heartbreaking statement on Instagram, Sophia went on to say: "I’m devastated and simultaneously so deeply grateful to have known and loved him, and to have counted him as one of my tribe."

Acknowledging that Dan's death affected not only her, but his countless friends, Sophia said: "I, and so many of my loved ones, lost an incredible friend."

Urging fans and followers to appreciate the time they have with each other, the actress finished by saying: "Please remember that our time on this Earth is not guaranteed. Please tell those you love that you do. Right now. This very minute. And please send a kiss to the sky for my friend Dan."

Our hearts go out to all those affected by the devastating tragedy in Nepal.

While we may think sharing a Dominos on a Friday night with our boyfriend is the height of romance (it kind of is though, isn't it?), there are some men out there who go the extra mile when explaining why their other half is undoubtedly the one for them.

Step forward Parks and Recreation star, Chris Pratt.

Opening up about his wife and mother of his son, Anna Faris, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor said: "Anna and I are meant to be together. Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life."

Explaining that their lives seemed to run on parallel tracks, the smitten Chris goes on to say: "She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in LA. We both got our start in horror spoofs. We both did an animated movie for Phil Lord and Chris Miller. We both made our careers playing guileless nitwits for laughs."

Revealing that their family lives were almost identical, the hilarious husband of the Scary Movie star said: "We both have parents that have suffered with MS. The similarities go on and on."

Paying tribute to his wife of almost six years, 35-year-old Chris finished by saying: "Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love."

Hear that, lads?! Take note!

Having to deal with spiteful tweets from former family members and pointed jibes from celebrity bloggers can't be easy for Bruce Jenner in light of his recent news, but when he knows he has the backing of one of the newest member of the Kardashian clan we're sure it makes the negative publicity a little easier to handle.

According to the former Olympian, his stepdaughter Kim's new husband, Kanye, managed to put the entire things in perspective for him and Kim, something for which he'll be forever grateful.

Revealing the part Kanye West played in Bruce's transitioning, the 65-year-old father explained that Kim came to him with an insight offered by the father of her daughter, North saying: "Kim told me a story. She goes, ‘You know what really turned me around on thinking about this?’ I said, ‘What?’ She goes, ‘Kanye.’ I went, ‘Oh, OK’"

Admitting that her husband helped her see things in a different light, Bruce related the story Kim told him, saying: "He says to Kim, ‘Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I’m nothing if I can’t be me. If I can’t be true to myself, they don’t mean anything."

Since the heartfelt exchange between the pair took place, Bruce revealed that Kim has been the most accepting and the easiest to talk to when he needs help dealing with the changes he's going through and the publicity he's receiving.

We have to admit it, from time to time, Kanye West truly does know better than anyone.

Fair play, Yeezy!

With people weighing in from all corners on Bruce Jenner's recent news, it's no surprise that celebrity blogger Perez Hilton offered his two cents and got a sly dig in at the Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, in the process.

Taking to social media to air his views on the matter, Perez wrote: "Kris Jenner has no comment for ABC news and the #BruceJenner interview. His other two ex-wives gave supportive statements."

Harsh enough, but the blogger, who came to blows with Katie Hopkins while a contestant in the Celebrity Big Brother house, didn't stop there.

Implying that Kris hoped to cash in on her ex-husband's revelations, Perez went on to tweet: "Kris Jenner is negotiating her very own tell-all interview as we speak- to the highest bidder! Or so I think."

In classic Kris style, the 59-year-old wasn't going to take those jibes lying down and wasted no time responding to the blogger's unnecessarily spiteful tweets, saying: "F*ck you Perez. No one asked me to comment …and I'm sitting with Bruce now watching this show so lets keep it real…LOL…"

Unfortunately Perez wasn't the only one to cast a shadow on Bruce's courage and bravery this weekend, with former member of the Kardashian clan, Kris Humpheries, taking to Twitter to cast aspersions on his former father-in-law.

Lets all take a leaf from Ellen De Generes' and Jennifer Lopez's books who took to social media to praise the brave father-of-six following his incredibly candid and courageous interview with Diane Sawyer.

While most of us have no problem admitting that we have a slight fear of flying or a chronic fear of checking our bank accounts after a blurry night on the tiles, there are some fears we all harbour, but for some reason keep to ourselves.

Well, no more! Not if Mark Ruffalo has anything to do with it anyway.

Speaking up for little people everywhere, the Foxcatcher star 'fessed up to his biggest phobia on the latest episode of The Graham Norton Show and while we didn't expect it, we can certainly relate to it.

Admitting that his phobia stems from the unusual antics of neighbourhood kids, the Now You See Me actor didn't hold back when explaining how scared he gets at the prospect of it happening again.

Check out this hilarious, albeit totally legitimate confession.

Having dropped almost 42 lbs, the incredibly talented Sam Smith has opened up about the journey he went on before finally becoming comfortable in his own skin.

Revealing in a recent interview that he used food and eating as a coping mechanism, the Stay With Me singer said: "When I was at school and wasn't having a great time or when music wasn't going very well. I would eat, eat… eating would make me feel better, when I felt lonely I would eat."

Admitting that he has been verbally abused in the past on account of his sexual orientation, the star said that that does not have the same effect on him that being called fat does, saying: "If someone calls me a f***** it's like, 'I am gay and I'm proud to be gay', so there's no issues. But if someone calls you fat, that's something I want to change."

The singer opened up during an interview on Australian TV show A Current Affair and revealed that his relationship with food was a complex one, admitting: "From a young age food has controlled me."

The 22-year-old singer/ songwriter has since established a healthier approach to food and often takes to social media to update fans and followers on his progress, having recently posted: "4 pounds away from my goal weight and feel happier and healthier than ever #eatnourishglow."

It takes a lot of courage to speak so candidly so we take our hats of to one of our favourite singers!

We're used to Miley Cyrus shocking people with her antics, but even this seems a little ridiculous for the controversial star.

On the same night she was due to attend the 30th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the Wrecking Ball singer decided to treat fans and followers to her outfit choice on Instagram.

And what did the young star deem appropriate attire for the prestigious music event?

This, ladies, this.

And who did the former child star wear this bizarre outfit in front of? None other than former Beatle Paul Mc Cartney.

In fairness to Paul, the man was in one of the biggest bands in the world so we're sure he's seen plenty in his day, but does Miley really want to let it all hang out in front of a whole host of  world-famous music icons?

OK fine, we'll admit it, if anyone can pull it off, it'd be Miley!

Well, this gig announcement is one for the history books!

According to the Sunday World,  U2 will be marking the end of their Innocence and Experience tour by performing in the city where it all started for them.

It has been 26 years since the famous foursome last played in Dublin's Point Theatre so we wonder if they'll choose to return to the venue this December!

With reportedly 72,000 tickets due to go on sale in the coming weeks, this sounds like one concert not to be missed for any die-hard Bono fan.

Commenting on the tour which is kicking  off in Vancouver in May, Arthur Fogel, president of Global Touring and chairman of Global Music, said: "The anticipation for a U2 tour is always extraordinary, as it should be. Following the record-setting 360° Tour I'm amazed that they still want to be ground-breaking, this time on a more intimate scale."

Hell, Bono fan or not, this is big news!

On a Sunday afternoon when we're still wrapped in our duvets and waiting on a Dominos, the last thing we need to see is a stunning celeb in a pair of retro denim hot pants, but it's Jacqueline Jossa and we love her, so we'll let it slide.

Deciding to soak up the sunshine that much of Ireland and the UK has been blessed with this weekend, new mum Jacqueline popped out for a stroll with baby Ella and looked ridiculously gorgeous while doing so.

Fresh-faced with her dark hair flowing loosely over her shoulders, the EastEnders star appeared to ignore paparazzi as she enjoyed time spent with her nine-week-old  baby daughter.

Showing off long, enviable pins, Jacqueline did a bit of grocery shoppping and took to the park with her little girl to relax in the sunshine with a host of other sun-worshippers.

Managing to look totally beautiful in casual, dressed-down attire and free of make-up, we think we'd hate her even if we didn't love her so much.

Hey Jacqueline, do you give seminars?

When Sam Faiers signed a deal to pen her autobiography, she obviously decided it was going to be a no-holds-barred rant of epic proportions and, jeez, did she deliver.

In extracts of the tell-all autobiography published in The Sun, Sam called out her ex-boyfriend Joey Essex on his juvenile behaviour  and made no secret of the fact she has little to no time for her former flame.

Sam, branded Joey, who she dated for two years, as 'delusional', saying: "If delusion was an Olympic sport Joey would have a gold medal."

Oooh, burn!

According to 24-year-old Sam, her ex-boyfriend was more interested in the nightclub scene and making cash than spending time working on their relationship.

Explaining that she had to call time on their romance  for her own good, Sam admitted that Joey wasn't likely to change, saying: "That's why we had to break up, for the sake of my sanity."

In a revelation that isn't going to do a whole lot for Joey's rep, his ex-girlfriend suggests that he's 'a little boy lost', saying: "He is like Peter Pan, frozen in time and unable to handle anything bad or real."

We're actually scared to imagine the fall-out from this one!

Her relationship has had its fair share of us and downs, but it looks like Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent is seeing more negatives than positives in her long- term relationship so has decided to call it a day.

22-year-old Brooke, who has been dating footballer Josh McEachron since 2011, has suggested that this isn't a temporary split, telling friends it's 'for good' this time.

According to reports, the relationship has experienced problems since Josh went on loan to Dutch football team Vitesse Arnhem.

The pair, despite their mutual respect and admiration, struggled to maintain their long distance relationship, with an insider revealing: "Brooke and Josh still have feelings for each other, but their long-distance relationship has just been too hard."

Having previously split and then gotten back together, outsiders assumed that their most recent split may not be permanent, but according to reports they're both done.

Aw, sad times, guys!
