If you were one of the people who made a trip to the cinema to see Katniss and crew do their thing, then you’re part responsible for the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1 $500 million ticket sales and also helped make the movie number one in the overseas box office!

However, these stats and figures aren’t exactly overwhelming movie execs as last year’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opened to an enormous $158.1 million which is substantially higher than its sequel’s debut weekend which ‘only’ took in $121.9 million.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1 has yet to open in China, however, so there’s no doubt that the film’s profits are only set to rise once it hits the big screens over there in 2015.

The world’s second biggest film market is bound to have an impact on proceeds, right?

The question on a lot of people’s lips after the Victoria’s Secret show last week was – ‘what did Ariana Grande say to Ed Sheeran on stage?’ The pair appeared to be having a few words and Ed seemed somewhat bemused.

Well, we finally have our answer, ladies and gentlemen, and it has not disappointed! And let's just say Ed's apparent bemusement is pretty understandable!

During an interview with Elvis Duran on iHeart Radio, Ed revealed that Ariana came and stood next to him and whispered: “I love big black balls.” Am…WHAT?!

Ed explained that there were giant inflatable balloons that were black in colour but said that he couldn’t help but laugh when she said it, explaining: “If she knows what that means then I love her and if she doesn’t know what that means then it's even better."

Hmm, we think Ariana was making an innocent comment – tut tut Ed!

Your Beauty, an Irish beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog written by the stunning Andreea from Bucharest, offers fantastic reviews of the latest products and an insight into the numerous beauty issues we've all been faced with, so if you're on the look-out for some top tips then be sure to check her out!

The lovely Andreea, who started her blog almost four years ago, chatted to us this week about her budget beauty buys, her Maybelline must-have and her essential eyebrow tool!

1. What is your best budget beauty buy?

I am a concealer junkie and after trying numerous high end products; Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Lancome etc, nothing compares to The Eraser from Maybelline. It’s the best! Never cakes, covers well and looks flawless.

2. What is your top make-up tip?

Apply your concealer after the foundation application, using the upside down triangle method. Using a fluffy eyeshadow brush blend it in with circular strokes. Finally, set it up with a fine translucent loose powder.

3. Most girls have a much-loved lipstick – what's yours?

This is so hard to narrow down! I love bold, vibrant colours and by looking at my collection, I seem to be attracted to different shades of coral. If I really had to choose one, you cant beat Mac Vegas Volt. A must-have!

4. What was your very first perfume and what are you currently wearing?

My very first scent was Clinique Simply, I wore it for most of my teenage years. Sadly it was discontinued, but I still managed to track down a bottle on Ebay to keep for special occasions! Currently I switch between Marc Jacobs Daisy and Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue, both light and uplifting, which is great for early Monday mornings!

5. You're only allowed to use three make-up products for the rest of your life… what are they?

Eyebrow pencil, concealer and mascara. I could use the concealer to hide imperfections as well as an under eye brightener, whilst the mascara will help to make me look awake. Eyebrow pencil should be a basic human right, defined brows are a must!

If you would like to hear more from the lovely Andreea, why not check out Your Beauty now!

US basketball star LeBron James is under criticism after he put his arm around Kate Middleton’s shoulders, breaching royal protocol.

The Duchess was attending a game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers in New York City, where she and Prince William were presented with NBA jerseys and posed for photos with LeBron.

Etiquette expert William Hanson blasted the move to the MailOnline, saying: “It’s an American being too touchy feely and he shouldn’t have done it … A shower would have been preferable but he had just finished a game – so even more reason for him not to have opened his pits by lifting his arm and placing it around Her Royal Highness!”

Ouch – harsh words! Well, we thought Kate wouldn't have minded a bit, but looking at the photo, she does look a little bit awkward…!

The incident was a reminder of the time Michelle Obama was slammed for putting her arm around the Queen back in 2011.

It looks as if sweet, gentle Taylor Swift has finally been pushed to her limit by rumours about her friendship with Karlie Kloss.

Photos of Taylor allegedly ‘kissing’ the Victoria’s Secret Angel – who also happens to be her housemate – began to circulate on the internet, and it wasn’t long before the rumours began.

Now, Taylor has had enough, and took to Twitter to blast the story in a very ‘Taylor’ way, writing: “As my 25th birthday present from the media, I’d like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty.”

Once again proving that she is hip and down with the kids, her hashtag was really calling out the media for being desperate – classic Taylor!

Meanwhile, the superstar announced exciting tour dates for Ireland, and we cannot frickin’ wait!

There was worry for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star Edwina Currie after she collapsed following the final recently.

The former MP began to feel faint on a bus along with the other contestants and was brought back to the camp to be assessed by Medic Bob. On arrival at the hotel, she was brought in a back entrance as she was too ill to meet fans.

Her daughter, Debbie, explained the illness, saying: “Mum is completely exhausted and knackered. They come out of that jungle and it’s like a whirlwind for them. They have to be up at the crack of dawn and it wears them out. It’s exhaustion … Mum needs rest, water and sleep. We don’t want to create a big scare out of this. She will be ok. She just needs to rest.”

Feel better soon, Edwina!

Thanks to Micky Flanagan, we all know the difference between going ‘out’ and going ‘out-out’, right?

Those evenings that you intend to stay in with a plate of andwiches, but find yourself dragged to the local ‘for one’ before eventually winding up on the dance floor of your local disco in a state of utter confusion has nothing on the Christmas version of this saga.

Agreeing to go for ‘a few down the local’ any time between the 20th of December and the 3rd of January is a clear indication you are MORE than happy to sing Fairytale of New York on a pub table or shift the bloke from the town chipper in full view of his entire GAA team.

We ALL know what a few down the local means at Christmas, but we plead ignorance and then pretend to act confused the next morning when we wake up with a phone number scrawled on a batter burger wrapper.

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without these nights of local mayhem, and secretly we love it.

Here’s what happens when you fall into the trap of ‘going local’ at Christmas.

1. You meet girls you never liked from school, but who you MUST catch up with in the new year.

Yeah, right.

2. You remember why you used get so drunk when you first started going out; accurate measurements are more a 'guesstimation' than anything around here.

Does this taste like a single to you? Your man’s after given me a triple…again.

3. You fall into conversation with the school stud and embarrassingly still get butterflies.

I know I’m engaged, but he actually laughed at my joke, girls.

4. You take forty minutes to get from your table to the bar because you’re accosted by a friend of the family with every step.

Ah, she’s grand. She’s at home with the dog and a tin of Roses.

5. You pretend you don't want to hit the disco before staggering to the toilets to drunkenly re-do your make up.

Will they be cool about my Converse, Christmas jumper, pyjama pants and drunk head? Obviously.

6. After staggering from the disco, you set up camp in the local chipper until you're forcibly removed.

Wait! I wanted FOUR batter burgers. Four!

7. Someone yells 'gaf party!' and one lad's poor, unsuspecting parents are treated to the entire town's rendition of Do They Know It's Christmas? in the conservatory at 5am.

C'mere and join in, Eileen sure! There's Martin! C'mere, you!

8. The party is broken up when someone tries to get the dog drunk and someone else pukes under the Christmas tree.

Fun is fun, but that tree is Eileen's pride and joy, for Jaysus sake.

God, we love it!

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini seems to have slipped back into her role as X Factor very smoothly – albeit more feisty than what we were previously used to.

That is why we were shocked to hear that she is unsure about returning to her role as a judge next year. Cheryl reportedly told the Daily Star that it is something she would have to consider carefully: “That’s a question Simon would have to ask me himself. Then I would have to talk about it because it’s been very emotional.”

The singer described acting as a judge on the show: “You get attached, you try not to but we’re human at the end of the day, you can’t help but feel the emotion, it’s tough. You’ve probably seen us shrinking week by week.”

Cheryl also opened up about her supposedly difficult relationship with Mel B, saying that although they have had their ups and down, they support each other: “We are two grown women, we both know what we’re here for, we’re both professional. It’s not like we want to pull each other’s weaves out or anything. We both get very passionate so it does get a bit like, ‘Ahhh’, but we support each other at the same time because we’re going through the same experience as each other.”

So that's the ‘war’ rumours cleared up for at least another week then!

Angelina Jolie is receiving some harsh criticism from Japanese nationalist conservatives who have accused her new movie, Unbroken, as being racist.

In a dramatic move, they have demanded that the actress be banned from the country, reportedly launching a petition on Change.org that has gained 8,000 signatures so far.

The move depicts the life of Louis Zamperini, an US Olympian who was spent 47 days at sea before being captured and tortured by the Japanese navy.

However, campaigners have called the movie immoral, with a member of the Society for the Dissemination of Historical Fact telling The Telegraph: “If there is no verification of the things he said, then anyone can make such claims. This movie has no credibility and is immoral.”

Little Adam is a generous guy, and there’s a picture to prove it.

Brian O’Driscoll and his wife Amy welcomed their second child, Billy, last month and have been no doubt inundated with hundreds of gifts for the new arrival – but this one seems to be their favourite.

Brian tweeted a photo of a card they received, with 2 euro sellotaped to the inside, that reads: “To Brian, Amy and Sadie congratulation [sic] on your new baby boy Billy. Hope he is not too noisy. PS. Please stop having babys [sic] you will have my bank account cleared out. Love Adam.”

Brian captioned the funny photo: “Firstly there was a couple of bob for our little one & now the wee man getting few quid #generousAdam.”

Needless to say, #generousAdam is now trending around Ireland and little Adam is officially a hero.

While we may be 100% comfortable with our other half, we still want to appear in a certain way at certain points in our relationship, don’t we?

They've seen our face melting when we wept buckets over the burger we dropped on a night out and they've witnessed the Friday night beauty regime that involved A LOT of plucking – all of which we're OK with, right?

But when it comes to bedroom antics, most of us want to come across as the Sex Goddess we know we truly are on the inside.

Here’s the thing though girls, there’s pretty much no point because the stuff we focus on in bed is NOT the stuff they focus on in bed.

Figures.

Here are just ten things we tie ourselves in knots over and, frankly, they just don’t care about.

1. You know the cellulite you think shines like a beacon from your bum and thighs? They LITERALLY don’t see it.

He tries to be supportive about your concerns, but he thinks ‘cellulite’ sounds like a tube of something he’d find in his dad’s toolbox.

2. Luckily for us, they may be blind to our cellulite, but unfortunately they’re also kind of blind to the underwear we spent 80 quid on.

They really just want it on their bedroom floor.

3. You know that involuntary sound or gross noise you made which has haunted you since last weekend?

Don’t freak out now, but they actually found it kinda sexy. We know, lunatics.

4. While it may have taken us a couple years to get completely used to our periods, it has taken our forward-thinking other halves approximately one month.

You don’t find it gross or weird anymore and neither do they. Calm down.

5. That scar on your leg, the fact one boob is bigger than the other and your bright red sex-face is the last thing on their mind.

They’re seeing you naked and are trying REALLY hard not to high-five themselves with excitement every single time.

6. That fact your legs are sometimes fuzzy or your bikini line appointment got cancelled for an afternoon of Breaking Bad is as important to them as the fact our beautician screwed up the Shellac on our thumb nail.

In other words, not at all.

7. The five extra lbs which weren’t there two months is all YOU see when you’re getting down to it, right?

All HE sees is his girlfriend looking uncomfortable and awkward when he thinks she should be at her most relaxed. Give him some credit and get over yourself.

8. You know that coldsore or ginormous pimple that’s making you feel about as sexy as a bank statement?

He had one last week and did that stop him dropping his pants and doing his classic ‘I know I’m seducing her right now’ sex dance? Like hell, it did.

9. Morning sex can be awesome, but it’s also when you feel most exposed because you’re bare-faced, bed-hair’ed, barely awake and badly in need of some mouthwash.

Know what men think about all these things? Nothing. They’re getting to have sex before work, their brains have shut down with excitement.

10. You know that move you tried when you were channelling your inner Sex Goddess that went completely awry and made you look a damn fool?

It didn’t. It made you cute, funny, a little ridiculous and he’s been thinking about it all week for all the right reasons.

We know, they’re cray-cray, but don’t poke the bear because their lunacy bodes well for us.
