It’s safe to say that there is no love lost between Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.

However, we were surprised to hear that reality star Heidi had nothing but kind things to say when asked about her former The Hills co-star’s wedding.

Asked by entertainment site Celebuzz as to what piece of advice she would give to newlywed Lauren, Heidi was particularly pleasant and lovely!

“I would just say, ‘Love is really selfless’. It’s really important to be selfless and not always have to be right. You should really think about the other person,” said the 28-year-old.

Not a single catty remark in sight.

Heidi also appeared to reference her and Lauren’s famous falling-out, as she added: “Spencer and I have sacrificed a lot to be together, so I think we definitely prioritise each other. That’s the secret!”

It seems like good advice, given that Heidi and Spencer are still going strong, but we wonder if Lauren will be taking on board anything that her frenemy has to say!

Rumer Willis is pretty angry.

The 26-year-old actress has revealed that she is outraged over the decision to photoshop an image of her without her consent.

Rumer, the daughter of Hollywood stars Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, was referring to images from designer Franziska Fox’s spring 2015 lookbook.

In a series of high fashion shots, Rumer appears visibly smaller in certain parts on her body – something which the actress is fuming over.

Speaking to Us Weekly, she said: “My stylist told me about it and I was like, ‘Well, that’s f***ed up.’”

She added: “Then I immediately called my manager and said, ‘You know, this is unacceptable, because that’s not what I want to put out in the world and what I want to represent anyway.’”

Good for you, Rumer.

Referring to the unrealistic beauty and body ideals fed to young people today, Rumer also said: “This idea that how you are is not okay [should] not [be] the case. You should be able to feel beautiful with no makeup on, completely naked, and feel totally stoked about how you look, and no one should be judging you for anything.”

We kind of love her.

Last week she was whisked away on a private mini-break to Hawaii, but last night was where the big birthday celebrations kicked off for Kim Kardashian.

The reality star jetted out to Las Vegas with family and friends for her birthday bash in Tao night club, one of the biggest party spots in the city.

The 34-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo of the group as they touched down in Nevada, typically posing up a storm for the camera!

This is the second year in a row that Kim chose to throw her official celebrations in Tao, and it looks as though she carried on the white theme from last year’s stunning outfit.

In a sneak peek snapshot that little sister Khloe shared to her social media, Kim is looking stunning in a white dress with a deep plunging neckline.

Well, if you can’t go all out on your birthday, when can you?

And it looks as though Kim will be extra happy when she wakes up today, as it has been reported that she was paid a cool $500,000 to hold her bash in the nightclub.

We bet it was a wild night!

We know how annoying it can be to finally hit upon a product that guarantees everything you’re looking for, only to see it carries the same price tag as a small car. We instantly feel cheated, don’t we? It promises the earth, moon and stars, but you need to take out a mortgage to get your hands on it? Eh, no thanks.

Given the change in weather, radiators and heaters have been going on in homes across the country and this, girls, plays havoc with our skin. So with that in mind, this week we’re looking at a mix of remedies for dry skin that won’t break the bank.

Coconut oil €1.99
This one is a real gem. Composed of fatty acids, coconut oil replenishes your skin and leaves you feeling soft and supple. Apply liberally when your skin is still warm from the shower as your skin will easily absorb the oil in that condition, go to bed, and wash off in the morning. Instant revitalisation.

Palmers Olive Butter Formula with Vitamin E €3.99
Sister to the tried-and-tested Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula, this moisturiser works really well on skin that needs a quick pick-me-up. Gently slough off any dead skin in the shower and apply this cream in circles, massaging thoroughly. Incorporate into your daily beauty routine and see the difference! You get some serious bang for your buck too!

FootLogix Cracked Heel Formula €27.00
Bit of a curve ball here, girls, but this cream has been proven to reduce the symptoms of Keratosis Pilaris, which presents as rough, bumpy skin generally on the upper arms and legs. While used predominantly on the feet, this product can work wonders on certain dry skin conditions.

Aveeno Daily Moisturising lotion €7.89
This moisturiser claims to improve the health of your dry skin in just 1 day. No mean feat, but hey it does work! We're not surprised it's often recommended by doctors and pharmacists alike.

Aqueous Cream BP €5.19
Ok, so this cream may lack the pretty packaging we like to see on our dressing tables, but don’t dismiss it 'cos of that! This is a fantastic buy for anyone plagued by dry, tight skin. Doubling as a face and body wash as well as a moisturiser, you really can’t go wrong by giving this a whirl. You may be surprised!

Bodily functions
We hope, to a certain extent, that some of these functions remain hidden, no matter how comfortable you are in your relationship. But at the start we didn’t so much as hiccup in case it morphed into a snot-sneeze, or worse, a mini-puke. Our bodies fail us all the time. We weren’t taking any chances.

Certain garments
The man HAS to know you’re wearing nude coloured nylon socks with those pumps from Pennies. He’s been looking at them curiously all day, wondering if your skin has a natural glisten or if you ARE actually wearing the same stockings his Nana wore. Either way, he doesn’t CARE. But YOU do. That’s why you’re trying to pull them out from under your skinny jeans without him noticing so you don’t end up in sexy underwear …and wrinkled nylons. Shudder.

Mortifying incidents
You tell your friends, on pain of death, that they better not mention the time you got in a scrap in the local chipper for the last chicken ball, or how you secretly refer to yourself as Princess when you’re feeling down. If that stuff gets out, that’s it. Game over.

Beauty regimes
It’s a bizarre double bluff, this one. You meet him with an immaculately made-up face, gleaming hair and fresh breath and yet, you both insist on acting like this happens by magic. He pretends not to hear you rolling out of bed at 6am, crawling across the floor on your elbows commando-style, before reappearing from the bathroom looking like you’re ready for a night out…in your pyjamas. And YOU pretend that you don’t know that HE knows what you’re up to. What?

The jig is up….
And then girls the time comes; you either break wind so loudly in your sleep it wakes the whole house or you share the most disgusting of kisses to see who can deal with the other’s morning breath the longest. NOW, it’s true romance.

There are some films you can watch again and again that leave you mesmerised every time and then there are some that are only granted one viewing, but will stay with you for life. Whether it’s a particular scene, soundtrack or piece of dialogue, certain movies get us RIGHT in the feels. Here are just a few examples of some absolute classics.

Seven
Girls, that box. It’s been widely reported that many film go’ers were utterly convinced they saw the contents of that box. They didn’t. At no point, did we see what was in there and yet we’re totally haunted by it. Can you hear that fly too?

The Shawshank Redemption
When Andy Dufresne climbs out of that sewage chute into what looks like the most frightening weather known to man; we can feel the river torrents against our legs, we can feel the battering rain against our faces, and hell, we’re going to say it, we can FEEL the freedom in our hearts!

Sleepers
The sights, sounds and smells of 1960’s Hell’s Kitchen were achingly vivid in this 1996 drama starring Brad Pitt and Kevin Bacon. The journey we went on with those boys, the memory of their haunted faces and the final reunion where Walk Like a Man never sounded as joyous makes this film one that will resonate time and again.

Good Will Hunting
When Robin William’s character explains to Will what it means to be in love, we sat back and took stock as well. There’s nothing else to say. Robin said it all.

The Wind that Shakes the Barley.
When the young, distraught Damian, played by Cillian Murphy, is writing that love letter in his tiny prison cell, we think our hearts broke a little and never properly mended.

Are we hearing this right? There’s now a Britney Spear’s holiday? Hot damn. Does this mean we get a day off to spend in our favourite velour sweats while mumbling Toxic to ourselves?  Not quite. (Fine, whatever. We do that every Sunday anyway)

No, it seems November 5th won’t feel very different to us girls here in Ireland, but Las Vegas will be tearin’ it up Brit-style on that day. Caesers Entertainment officially announced yesterday that Britney will be receiving the key to the Las Vegas Strip on the 5th and that the first one hundred people who can prove that they’re also named Britney will win two tickets to the Louisiana singer’s concert at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Not bad!

The 32-year-old singer , who will be presented with her official proclamation by Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak, tweeted her excitement, posting: “ What an honour!! Can’t wait to celebrate with you, Vegas. See y’all there??” As if she has to ask.

Due to the success of Britney’s Piece of Me residency, the star has recently been on the receiving end of a fairly hefty pay rise- the global megastar now earns one million dollars a week.

No biggie.

Brace yourself, girls. If your mind has ever wandered to daydreams involving you, Harry Styles and a can of whipped cream, and you DIDN’T put pen to paper, then you really missed a trick.

One devoted Directioner once took the time to put her risqué thoughts on free writing website, Wattpad, and what did this effort eventually net her? A whopping six figure book deal, that’s what!

Now, let’s clear something up. No, there will not be a saucy book involving the real Harry and the lads on the shelves in time for Christmas, but Anna Todd who began her career penning One D fan-fiction obviously found her niche very early in life. Anna decided to use Harry Styles as inspiration for the lead character, Hardin Scott, in her first novel After and she celebrated its publication this week. It’s not going to be Anna’s last book either, with subsequent titles to follow in the coming months.

It doesn’t stop there either. Paramount Pictures have acquired the right to the After series and it looks like we’ll be in for a real steam-fest if Anna’s comments are anything to go by. Calling it a vanilla version of Fifty Shades of Grey, Anna tells us: “The regular sex scenes are very detailed.”

Er, right.

So, we thought the Iggy Azalea/ Snoop Dogg twitter feud was weird, we thought the Russell Brand/Donald Trump twitter feud was even weirder, but this new one has to take the biscuit. 33- year-old Canadian DJ, Deadmau5, has lashed out at none other than reality TV star and American socialite Paris Hilton. Say what?

Well, it seems Deadmau5 ‘s (DeadMICE?) nose is a little out of joint because Paris has been performing in the same venue as him and apparently has no business doing so. Ouch.

Taking to Twitter to argue his case, the DJ, real name Joel Zimmerman, compared Paris performing at big venues to him being a racing car driver. Yeah we were’t too sure about that one either.  The outraged DJ said: “If I showed up one day…dated a driver, then hopped on the circuit the following week ‘ just coz I can’? God, even I know my f***ing limits.”

In fairness to Paris, her appearances are selling tickets and the 33-year-old heir to the Hilton fortune has apparently found her passion. Responding to Deadmau5, Paris tweeted: “I find it hilarious when others try to badmouth me to get attention. Sorry that I’m #Killingit while doing what I love & live for.”

You tell 'em, Paris

Tulisa is back, and she’s raring to go.

Indeed, with a new single out, the singer has revealed that she is finally ready to put her legal troubles behind her and get back to what she loves best – music.

Speaking on Radio 1, the 26-year-old revealed that the past few difficult months have made her stronger than ever.

“I appreciate the good times now. Life is a rollercoaster – the lower you go, the higher you bounce back,” she said, adding, “People expect me to be bitter, but you just need to move forward.”

And Cheryl and Mel B may want to watch their backs, because the former N-Dubz star also has her eyes on her old X Factor job!

The Young singer revealed: “I would do X Factor full-time again. With the years I didn’t do it, I found myself – I had my enlightenment year. And now it’s something I could go back to and really enjoy.”

Are you listening, Simon Cowell?
