It doesn't get more classic than Snow White, ladies. It was the movie that basically started off the Disney princess fandom way back in 1937, and it hasn't stopped since.

We've seen numerous remakes in the past couple of years, but this one is looking to be pretty major.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Disney is planning to keep all of the original songs in the remake and has also hired Girl On The Train screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson to write the script.

And not only Erin, but the songwriters behind La La Land (Emma Stone and Ryan Reynold's new flick) are set to be joining as well.

With Lily James as the new Cinderella and Emma Watson as the the new Belle, we're guessing there's going to be some big names in this film too.

We might have to wait a couple of years until it hits our cinema screens though, as Emma Watson's Beauty and the Beasts won't be out for nearly another year.

Here's to waiting!

Less than two months after the death of original Willy Wonka star, Gene Wilder, it looks like a new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie could be on the way.

But unlike the last two flicks to be inspired by Roald Dahl’s beloved book, the potential reboot will explore Willy Wonka’s mysterious past.

According to Variety, Warner Bros. are joining forces with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them producer, David Heyman, to create a movie which centres on Willy Wonka himself.

Sources say the entertainment giant has already acquired the rights to the Willy Wonka IP from the Roald Dahl Estate, but currently it is unclear as to which of the novel’s other characters will make an appearance in the film.

While many are eager to learn where the legendary chocolatier actually came from, others have taken to Twitter in opposition of move.

Many online commentators say no version of the film could live up to the original 1971 version, while others believe the movie industry as a whole needs to focus on developing new characters instead of placing classic personas in new situations.

Dirty Dancing is one of those movies you watch when you need cheering up, or if you're having a movie night with your friends. Actually, it's one of those movies that just suits any situation and that's why we love it so much.

However, now ABC has made a remake of the movie, which will only be aired on TV, and well, we don't really know how we feel about that.

The original was just so perfect, from Patrick's moves, to Jennifer's watermelons, there's nothing we would change.

The new movie stars Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin, who plays Baby and Colt Prattes, who plays Johnny.

Nicole Scherzinger is playing Johnny's pregnant dance partner, Penny.

Let's just say they have big shoes to fill!

The Grinch has always been a Christmas favourite, and now one very popular actor has been cast to play the green hairy monster.

After 16 years (yes, SIXTEEN), the movie is getting a remake and Benedict Cumberbatch is going to step into the Grinch's shoes, taking over from Jim Carey.

But, instead of transforming from a cartoon to a live action movie (which is all the rage in the cinema these days), the new movie will return to the character's cartoon roots using modern animation.

The CEO of Illumination Entertainment said: " We were determined to make a choice that would not only define this version of The Grinch as absolutely singular, but most importantly, we were looking for a voice to express comedic wickedness while embodying vulnerability."

We think that perfectly sums up Benedict's style of acting and we can't wait to see the new remake next year.

24 was a TV show that was so gripping, it was really hard not to binge watch daily. Like, really hard.

And as we all know, all good things must come to an end. So, we said goodbye to Jack Bauer and alas, goodbye to 24. Or, so we thought.

Surprisingly, FOX is ready to start the clock again with a brand new series of the show, called 24: Legacy.

The network has hired Straight Outta Compton actor Corey Hawkins to star as the next Jack Bauer… but he won't actually be Jack Bauer.

Instead, the series is taking on a completely new cast and characters, but it's still going to stick to the same kind of storyline, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

It will revolve around a military hero's return to America, and all the problems that follow him, which then compels him to ask the famous CTU for help.

Will it be better than Jack's reign of power? Will it ruin the show completely? We don't know. But we're excited to give it a try.

Ariel is, without a doubt, one of the most iconic redheads of all time. And when people think of The Little Mermaid, they think about the strawberry-topped mermaid swimming around the sea.

But not anymore, it seems. It has been confirmed that the upcoming live action remake of The Little Mermaid will feature Ariel with… blonde hair. *Shivers*

Chloe Grace Moretz, who is set to play the famous mermaid, made the startling revelation in an interview with Entertainment Weekly earlier this week.

"We’re going off the Hans Christian Anderson novel, so I’ll actually have blonde hair." Noooo!

But the Internet is having absolutely none of it:

And it really is a tragedy with redheads everywhere:

We told you yesterday that The Rocky Horror Picture Show is one Halloween movie that you NEED to watch

But now we have even better news as the rumours are true and Fox is shooting a remake of the musical, which will star Laverne Cox.

The Orange Is The New Black actress has been lined up to take over the role of Dr Frank-N-Further, made famous by Tim Curry on stage as well as on screen.

Also teaming up with Fox is High School Musical's Kenny Ortega, who will bring the two-hour re-staging of Rocky Horror musical into modern times.

A plot description from Fox reveals: "The Rocky Horror Show follows sweethearts Janet Weiss and Brad Majors, who stumble upon Dr Frank-N-Furter's bizarre abode.

"Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous flirtatious alien mad-scientist, is holding an annual, Transylvanian science convention to showcase the birth of 'Rocky Horror' – a fit, attractive man created solely to fulfil Frank's desires."

Laverne is an Emmy nominee for her role of prisoner Sophia in Netflix's Orange Is The New Black but we think this new role could be her best yet.

Any young woman who wanted to be a witch at some point in her life was more than likely a fan of the 1996 teen horror movie The Craft.

Sony Pictures have some exciting news to announce as according to The Hollywood Reporter, they are ready to make the movie again.

Filmmaker Leigh Janiak is reportedly going to write and direct the remake.

For anybody that hasn't seen The Craft, it is well worth a watch to see what all the fuss is about.

Robin Tunney starred as the new girl in school who befriends a group of three girls who want to be witches.

The cast for the new movie has not yet been confirmed.

Lots of crazy and creepy things go on as the plot unfolds and we guarantee you that when you watch it, "Light as a feather, stiff as a board" will become your preferred Saturday night routine, rather than your usual night on the town.

We really can't wait!

We liked the first I Know What You Did Last Summer film. We appreciated the humour in the title of its sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. By the time I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer rolled around in 2006, we had had quite enough, thank you.

However, they’ve decided that enough was not actually enough, and Sony are planning a remake of the first film, due for release in 2016.

Neil Moritz produced the first film, and is set to have a second go of it in the remake.

We’re sure they’ll get a good few going to see it, if only to see if it’s any better or worse than the original, which was made in 1997.

Who knows, it could be great!
