We miss it dearly while it's gone, and whine like a little puppy when we don't know how to fill our OITNB void.

But fear not, because the ladies of Litchfield Prison will be coming back to us very soon.

Variety has confirmed that the season 4 premiere date for Orange Is The New Black is June 17, 2016. Yay!

They are also switching days, and this season the show will be on Fridays… Because Netflix bosses know we need a full weekend to binge on it.

Release dates were also set for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (April 15) and, after much uncertainty, it has been confirmed that Jessica Jones will be back this year.

Anthony Lyons, who in 2010 sexually assaulted a young woman in Dublin, is now a free man.

Walking from Arbour Hill Prison a little before 9am this morning, he made no comment to waiting media upon his release.

It is believed that he then made his way straight to the airport via taxi.

Lyons, a millionaire aviation broker who resided on Dublin’s upmarket Griffith Ave, attacked his 28-year-old victim as she made her way home on the morning of October 3, 2010.

During his 2012 trail, Lyons blamed a combination of alcohol, cough syrup and cholesterol medication for his atrocious actions.

He was initially given what ultimately amounted to six-month prison term, however, following public outcry his time behind bars was eventually increased to a total of two years.

Speaking on Newstalk radio this morning, the victim’s father said the 54-year-old sex attacker had never shown remorse.

"He got his legal team to read an apology out after he finally admitted he attacked her – but still claimed that he wasn't guilty.

"That's not remorse in our eyes."

Last month, the young woman’s aunt had said in conversation with The Irish Mirror: “Lyons in my view is a danger to society, 100 percent.

“I don’t think the women of Dublin are safe with him walking the streets. If I was out in broad daylight and saw him I would panic."

During his trial, the court heard that the Drumcondra-man had "rugby tackled" his victim to the ground, subsequently dragging her into nearby bushes where he sexually assaulted her.

He was eventually interrupted by passers by and fled the scene.

Legal representatives for Lyons had argued that their client was a man of good character. They said he suffered an "enormous loss of reputation," as a result of the incident, which had been caused by "an irresistible urge".

And his wife of almost 25 years, Eileen, had told the court during evidence that the attack was "beyond all understanding" and that he had "never lifted a hand" to her or anyone else.

She added: "My husband is a kind and gentle man."

Oscar Pistorius will serve no more than a further 74 days in prison: according to ENCA News he is due to be released on probation by August 21 following a recommendation from South Africa's correctional services department.

Charged with the culpable homicide – manslaughter – of his 29-year-old girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, the Olympic athlete was jailed for five years in 2014 following a high-profile six-month trial.

Reeva died in February 2013 at Pistorius's home. She was shot several times by her boyfriend. He has always maintained that he believed at the time of her death that she was an intruder.

A state appeal against his acquittal on murder charges is already underway, but it is likely that that won't be before the courts until November. If successful, the so-called Blade Runner could be locked up for life.

Reacting to the news, Reeva's family said the athlete's ten months in prison is "simply not enough".

They added: "We have forgiven Mr Pistorius even though he took the life of our precious daughter Reeva.

"Our lives will never be the same again as live with the sadness of her death every day.

"Reeva had so much to offer this world and we were all robbed of her life when she was killed."

The statement continued: "A person found guilty of a crime must be held accountable for their actions… incarceration of ten months for taking a life is simply not enough."

Born with fibular hemimelia, both of Pistorius's legs were amputated below the knee shortly before his first birthday.

At the 2012 Olympics in London, the 28-year-old became the first athlete with both legs amputated to participate in the Olympic Games, running in the 400-metre race and the 4X400 metre relay.

Under South African law he is eligible for release under "correctional supervision" having served a sixth of his sentence. It is likely that from August he will then serve an extended period under house-arrest.

The Inbetweeners 2 was released on Wednesday, and it has broken UK records by taking in £2.75 million in one day.

This is the highest ever single day taking for a comedy, and it’s particularly impressive since it was released on a school night (though the fact that students are still on their summer holidays may have had a part to play in the impressive figures).

It’s unusual for a sequel to be superior to the first film, but The Inbetweeners 2 has actually received better reviews. Critics are saying this could be down to creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris taking over directional duties.

We know what we'll be going to see on Saturday night!

It has been reported that the investors over at Disney are becoming increasingly worried that Maleficent is going to scare away movie-goers and be a flop in the box office.

Although Maleficent has been targeted more towards a young adult genre than younger children, the Disney investors are worried that the movie could do badly and cost the company millions.

The movie does look quite dark and scary and it would seem that this could affect parents wanting to bring their little ones to see the movie.

Angelina Jolie, who stars in the terrifying lead role, has admitted that her daughter, Vivienne had to star as a young Aurora because other children were so scared of Maleficent’s costume.

However, she also spoke about the importance of Maleficent in teaching young girls an important message: “It sounds really crazy to say that there will be something that’s good for young girls in this, because it sounds like you’re saying they should be a villain…[Maleficent] is actually a good person. But she’s not perfect. In general, it’s a very good message to say, ‘Let’s look at something from the other side’.”
