the inbetweeners 2

The Inbetweeners 2 was released on Wednesday, and it has broken UK records by taking in £2.75 million in one day.

This is the highest ever single day taking for a comedy, and it’s particularly impressive since it was released on a school night (though the fact that students are still on their summer holidays may have had a part to play in the impressive figures).

It’s unusual for a sequel to be superior to the first film, but The Inbetweeners 2 has actually received better reviews. Critics are saying this could be down to creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris taking over directional duties.

We know what we'll be going to see on Saturday night!

A forty second clip of the next Inbetweeners movie has been released, and it looks like it’s going to be great!

The films sees the boys join Jay in Australia – and it’s the last chance you’re going to get to see the boys together. Simon Bird, who plays Will, told Alan Carr:

“We won't be making another film after this one. Successful films make hundreds of millions, unsuccessful ones make about $20m.

“The Inbetweeners only took $38,000 in America. Our writers say they have run out of ideas so we won't be making any more films.”

The official trailer for The Inbetweeners 2 was finally released today, and even though we only got a quick look at what’s ahead, we’re already excited for the film’s release this August!

The sequel will feature our favourite lads trying (and failing) to backpack around Australia, and already looks as funny as the original!

Our favourite cheeky lads are returning to the big screen and this time, they’re heading to Australia.

A hilarious short trailer of The Inbetweeners sequel was released today and from this sneak peak alone, we can’t wait for what lies ahead.
