Rapper Drake was left a little shell shocked on stage on Sunday night when Madonna decided to make out with him on stage with no warning whatsoever.

Drake was joined by Madonna during his set at Coachella, and after her performance had finished, she pulled him in for an intense kiss that went on a little too long for everyone's liking… including Drake's.

Pictures of the rapper wiping his mouth and looking disgusted after the kiss seemed to confirm that he was just as grossed out as we all were by Madonna's tongue-fest… but Drake himself says differently.

Breaking his silence about the kiss one day on, Drake took to Instagram to let fans know he was a-okay about it all, posting a picture of the kiss and writing, "Don't misinterpret my shock!! I got to make out with the queen Madonna and I feel 100 '100' about that forever. Thank you @madonna"

As for Madonna, she seemed less than happy about the negative reaction to her on-stage antics, posting a telling quote on her own Instagram page:

In the mood to be extremely grossed out this Monday morning? We have just the thing.

Singer Madonna is currently promoting her new album Rebel Heart, and it seems she'll stop at nothing to get her name in the media – including kissing unsuspecting young rappers on stage.

The star joined Drake during his set at Coachella last night, and obviously decided his performance needed some spicing up. After belting out a three-song medley while Drake looked on, the 56-year-old grabbed the rapper as he sat on stage and began kissing him.

The shock kiss went on for at least three seconds, and judging by Drake's face as he wiped his mouth afterwards, he definitely wasn't expecting it:

Shudder.

As for Madge, the mum-of-four seemed happy enough with her decision, taking to Instagram just hours ago to post a picture of the kiss with the message, "No caption necessary ………. @coachella#bestnight #bigasmadonna #bitchimmadonna."

It's been 12 years since Madonna and Britney made out on stage at the MTV VMAs… and we reckon she should have left it at that!

Madonna’s onstage BRIT Awards tumble, or ‘Capegate’, as it is being referred to, has been one of the biggest talking points of the week.

And while Madonna has taken a dignified stance on the debacle, one person who wasn’t afraid to be a little bit controversial is the designer of the now infamous cape, Giorgio Armani.

Naturally, talk turned to the embarrassing incident during the Emporio Armani AW15 show in Milan this weekend, and the designer didn’t exactly hold back when quizzed over Madonna’s fall.

“Madonna, as we know, is very difficult. This cape had a hook and she wanted a tie, and she wasn’t able to open it with her hands. That’s all there is to it,” he told the Associated Press, with a smile.

Of course, Madonna had laid blame on the cape, claiming that it had been tied too tightly for her to work with during her performance.

While Giorgio’s take on the situation seems pretty fair, we wonder what Madonna will have to say about being branded “difficult”!

Poor Madonna was left seriously morto last night after she tumbled to the ground during a performance of her new song Living for Love at the BRIT Awards.

If you haven't already seen it… enjoy:

Although it originally looked as if the poor singer had fallen foul of a wind machine that blew her down a flight of stairs to the ground, the singer has said it was actually a wardrobe malfunction that was to blame, as one of her dancers tried to pull off her cape which was simply tied too tight.

Many in the audience initially thought the fall was part of Madge's dance routine, as she collapsed on the ground during the line, "I let down my guard, I fell into your arms" and was back on her feet to sing "now that it's over, I'm going to carry on". Trust Madonna to make a VERY undignified fall look like it was planned!

The 56-year-old took to her Instagram page shortly after the performance to reassure fans that she was doing fine and that her too-tight cape had been the problem.

"Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight!" she wrote alongside a designer's sketch of her costume. "But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine!"

Within minutes of the fall, Twitter was awash with some brilliant responses that definitely had us giggling:

We hope poor Madge has some Arnica on hand for her bruises this morning!

With the recent terrorist attacks in Paris leaving the world on edge, singer Madonna has attracted criticism online for an badly thought out post relating to the violence.

Controversy was sparked when Madonna shared a post with the "Je Suis Charlie" slogan that has been doing the rounds online.

Millions have uploaded the black-and-white image as a tribute to the employees of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo who were killed in Paris on Wednesday – but it was the caption Madonna chose to write that angered followers.

The singer shared the post with the words, "These are very scary times we are living in. Ignorance breeds Intolerance and fear. We can only fight darkness with light! We are all Charlie! #revolutionoflove ❤️ #rebelhearts"

Commenters were quick to slam the singer for peppering her post with promotional hashtags for her album, Rebel Heart, which features a single called Revolution of Love. One follower said, "stop using a really sad news to promote your disks!!!!" while another called her "ignorant."

This isn't the first time the singer has courted controversy while promoting her new music – just last week many followers were left shocked when she posted images of Princess Diana, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr with their faces covered in black string as her own is on the Rebel Heart album cover:

Maybe stick to the singing for now, Madge!

Madonna is certainly no stranger to controversy, so we can’t say we’re too surprised by her latest stunt.

The legendary singer has come under fire for tweeting doctored photos of historical icons Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela in a bid to promote her new album, Rebel Heart.

The original cover artwork for the record shows Madonna with a black string tied around her face. In an extremely questionable move, Madonna retweeted photos of King, Mandela and Bob Marley, among others, substituted into the photo by her fans.

Under the image of King with the string around his face, the singer wrote: “This rebel heart had a dream!”

Needless to say, the 56-year-old came in for serious criticism over the images, with many of her followers branding her “disrespectful” and “desperate”.

One Twitter user wrote: “This is not beautiful. This is disrespectful, and distasteful. How dare you?”

Indeed, the Hung Up singer was forced to issue a public apology on her Facebook page shortly after, in which she insisted that she merely wished to ‘admire and acknowledge the rebel hearts’ of the icons in her photos.

“I didn’t do it, my fans did. And I just re-posted those photos,” she wrote, adding, “My fans aren’t racist either. If they put me in the same category as these other people, thank you. I’m very flattered and I hope one day to live up to [one hundredth] of what those people accomplished.”

Well, they don't call her controversial for nothing!

Veteran singer Madonna ruffled more than a few feathers recently when she claimed that the leak of her recent album was ’artistic rape’, but the star, who holds the record for most number ones on all Billboard Charts, hasn’t done much to remedy the delicate situation since she first made the remarks.

When the singer was asked to retract these comments, the controversial 56-year-old star said: “I’m an artistic person. I’m very expressive. I’m sorry if words alarm people, but that’s what it felt like. It was not a consensual agreement.” In other words, she didn’t take them back.

The Vogue singer has claimed to be living in a state of terror since her material appeared online without her consent, saying: “Obviously there is a person, or a group of people behind this that were essentially terrorising me. I don’t want to sound alarming, but certainly that’s how I felt.”

We understand that the situation must have been frightening for the singer, especially since she believes the leak originated from her own computer, but perhaps a woman with as much influence as Madonna should choose her words a lot more carefully in the future.

We love Lady Gaga and Madonna individually for what they have done for pop music, but it seems that the two stars just cannot seem to get along.

The latest round of their cat fight was launched by Gaga, who has slammed Madonna for not reaching out to younger artists.

The 28-year-old Artpop singer made the dig during a recent interview, in which she was asked who her biggest musical influences were.

The quirky star responded by naming legends David Bowie, Queen, Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson among her idols, adding: “I would like to say Madonna, but let me tell you something – if I was an established artist, I would love to help younger artists.”

When the interviewer (rather hilariously) asked Gaga whether she meant that “Madonna has no soul”, the singer coyly responded: “You said it, not me!”

Catty much?

This is just the latest twist in the two singers’ long-running feud.

Earlier this year it appeared that Madonna sent Gaga a not-so-subtle message in her track Heartbreak City. Given how similarities have frequently been drawn between Born This Way and Express Yourself, many believed that when Madonna sings, “You’re a copycat, where is my royalty?” she is directing it at Gaga.

What will she have to say this time around, we wonder?

Lady Gaga has repeatedly credited Madonna as her inspiration, but apparently the former Queen of Pop does not take that as a compliment.

Some of the lyrics from Madonna’s upcoming album were leaked today, and appear to attack Gaga for “copying” her style.

“You're a copycat, Where is my royalty? You're a pretty girl, I'll give you that. But stealing my recipe, it's an ugly look,” sings Madonna in her song ‘Two Steps Behind Me’.

“Did you study me hard enough? You're never gonna be, you're just a wannabe me. Like a sister all messed-up, who's gonna help you out? In your fantasy, you can try it all. But you can't be me.”

“You can walk the walk, even talk the talk. But you'll always be two steps behind me.”

Subtle.

A source close to Madonna confirmed the song is aimed at Lady Gaga, telling The Sun that “Gaga’s going to be mortified”.

“They're very harsh lyrics but Madonna really wants to express herself again.”

There’s no official word on when the album will be released, but it was teased that it could be before the end of the year.

“I'm hearing Madonna may well drop the first of the tracks as soon as November, much earlier than expected. I can't wait.”

If it sparks the epic pop feud Madge is clearly gunning for, then neither can we.

Justin Timberlake experienced the wrath of Twitter at the weekend, when he posted a very strange birthday greeting to Madonna.

Mads and JT have been pals since duetting together on 4 Minutes back in 2008, so it’s no surprise that they would exchange birthday wishes. What was weird however, was Justin’s tweet, in which he referred to Madonna as his “mother chucking ninja.” Followers were outraged by his use of the phrase, as it is apparently usually meant as an alternative wording for “motherf*cking n*gga.”

The tweet, which has since been removed from Justin’s timeline, reportedly read “A happiest of Bdays to my mother chucking ninja, @Madonna!! Hope you have a great one, M!”

Fans expressed their anger on Twitter in no uncertain terms:

One user expressed shock that Justin would use such a controversial statement on Twitter given the racial tension and ongoing riots in Ferguson, Missouri in recent days:

However some followers defended Justin’s choice of wording:

While it’s definitely not the most PC way to wish someone a happy birthday, we do hope it was meant as a joke. All the same, kudos to Justin for removing the tweet.
