Stéphane Rolland thinks Kim Kardashian will walk down the aisle in a ”romantic” wedding dress.

The French fashion designer also thinks that Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci has created the gown.

He said, ”I think she is going to be for sure romantic…It depends on who will be the designer. They are friends with Riccardo Tisci…. so I would not be surprised if he is doing the dress.”

But fashion insiders are convinced Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz has created a bespoke gown for the bride, especially after Kim was dressed by Lanvin for the Met Ball earlier this month.

As for the groom, Stéphane would like to see Kanye in a classic suit for the couple’s nuptials.

He said, ”I would appreciate to see him very elegant, like a long grey or black jacket. Very French and English-inspired. And not with a bow, but with a tie.”

Kim and Kanye are front row regulars at Stéphane’s shows and the designer has styled the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star a number of times in the past.

The designer will be a guest at the top secret wedding this weekend.

Ralph Lauren is reportedly very upset that Kate Middleton did not attend her husband, Prince William’s charity dinner at Windsor Castle last Tuesday.

The designer found out that the Duchess would not be attending the event six weeks prior to the event and wanted to cancel his own attendance, but was advised against it.

A source said that Ralph was “furious when he found out less than six weeks ago that Kate would not be there.”

It would appear that he wasn’t hiding his disappointment either as when Prince William was introduced to the American designer and his wife, he said: “I’m sorry my wife’s not here, you probably would rather you saw my wife.”

Ralph Lauren’s rep has said that he “had only ever been enthusiastic about attending the event.”

In other exciting Kate Middleton news, it has been rumoured that her no-show at last Tuesday’s soirée could be down to morning sickness.

Ooh, could Kate be expecting again?

Top designer, Vera Wang, has made a surprising change to her brand and opted against a runway show for her 2015 spring bridal collection.

This will be the first time in 24 years that Wang has not had a runway show and instead decided on a video presentation of her collection.

The reasons for this, Wang explains, is to reach a wider audience: “The opportunity to create a visual and expressive experience of my clothes, as interpreted by my fashion vision, is a whole new way for me to communicate with not only brides, but women everywhere. In this instance, bridal becomes the artistic vehicle to advance my love of fashion in general. I hope you will enjoy this new experience.”

The collection is entitled “Chasing Alix” and features stunning dresses that no doubt brides everywhere will absolutely love!

When American designer and judge on the US Project Runway, Isaac Mizrahi, was asked about the lack of plus-size models on the show, he didn’t shy away from the question.

Instead, he embraced it.

The question asked was: “When will Project Runway have contestants who design specifically for plus-size persons? Not everyone is a size 2 and we are unrepresented. There is no reason why a plus-size person cannot be fashionable.”

Rather than agreeing that there should be contestants who “design specifically for plus-size persons”, Isaac spoke to Huffington Post Live about his belief in integration within the fashion world.

That instead of having separate designers for plus-size that all brands should create plus-size.

Isaac also spoke remembering how it felt as a younger boy who was “plus-size” being sent to the “husky” section.

He was also told he couldn’t wear platforms because they would make him look fat.

Dame Vivienne Westwood has done the unthinkable – cut off all of her trademark red hair.

The designer reportedly wanted to draw attention to climate change, a spokesperson said: “Vivienne cut her hair as we must all wake up to climate change … and secondly she wanted to cut the red out for a while and have it white – to show she’s proud of her age.”

The 72 year-old British designer hasn’t changed her hair colour for decades so there is no doubt this cause is close to her heart.

It has also been reported that Westwood will be pausing her business for a time in order to help promote the protection of the Arctic with Greenpeace.

Australian designer brand Carla Zampetti have been under fire for recently regramming an image of Terri Biviano at Charlotte Dawson’s funeral with the caption: “Black, sleek & chic all over, #terrybiviano is snapped stylishly wearing the raven crepe jumpsuit #streetstyle”.

The designer apologised on behalf of the mistake saying: “This photo was innocently regrammed without us being aware of where it was taken … we regret any distress this may have caused.”

This isn’t the first faux-pas made by designers in relation to tragic circumstances of late.

Both Valentino and Ugg Australia were accused of using the funeral and wake of Philip Seymour Hoffman for PR reasons.

Michelle Obama wore a beautiful Caroline Herrera gown to the state dinner honouring French president Francois Hollande last night.

The dress, complete with a black lace bodice, full blue gown and black velvet belt was designed by the Venezuelan designer and was sure to make Mrs. Obama the centre of attention at the event.

Hollande attended the event alone following the highly publicised break-down of his relationship with Valerie Trierweiler.
