Elma Pazar has admitted to lying about her age to get on the hugely popular reality TV show, Love Island.

The eyelash technician was only voted out of the Spanish villa last week, after coupling up with the regularly-pied Anton Danyluk.

Elma spoke to Kem Cetinay and Arielle Free on the Love Island Morning After podcast about what life was like in the infamous villa and she confessed that she's 26, rather than 23.

She revealed: "I lied about my age on Love Island. I tell everyone I'm 23, it's a real issue. I'm 26 but now everyone knows it because they said they couldn't lie for me."

The oldest current contestant is Tom Walker, who is 29-years-old, but the 19 contestants have an average age of 24. Tommy, Molly and Amber are all only 20.

Amber Gill notoriously branded Callum, her former couple partner and first person to leave the villa, 'old' when he said he was 28.

Elma recently told The Sun Online that she was desperate to couple up with Joe Garrattm but he was loved up with Lucie Donlan.

Pazar revealed that the Essex lad was her real type in the villa, and she wished he'd been single; "Having gotten to know them all and living with them all, I think Joe.

"He's a southerner like me and he's really nice. He has a certain banter, and you get on with some people more than others and I think I really got on with him," she added.

Elma's former Love Island partner Anton was branded a 's**t stirrer' last night after saying he didn't think Tommy and Molly's relationship would last in the villa.

When Tommy asked Anton if Molly-Mae was 'playing a game' with him, he replied: "“It’s not for me to say, mate, it’s got nothing to do with me.

"You know what your relationship is like, it’s not for me to say.” The 24-year-old Scot has moved on quickly after Elma left the villa, going on a date with Arabella and scouting for a chance with Lucie.

The whole Sherif drama is firmly over, and we STILL don't have answers about why he was kicked out of the Love Island villa. We enjoy a good mystery but this is getting ridiculous.

According to the man himself, it was "a case of poor judgement", and we'll most likely never hear anything else. Did he break the solo sex rule? Did he leak secrets on his phone? Is it about a sponsorship deal?

We honestly can't sleep at night without knowing some answers. Sherif is now back in the UK, and The Sun are claiming that two bodyguards have been stationed outside his London home since his return.

A spokesperson for Love Island has since responded to the claims that producers have hired 24-hour security for Sherif Lanre by saying;

"Security is provided to assist families as part of our duty of care," a rep for the show told Digital Spy.

Faked messages from Sherif leaked the other day, stating that the 20-year-old fought with Anton and was removed.

Sherif and ITV producers released a vague statement following his removal;

"In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa," Sherif said.

"I regret that I didn't conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it's something I know I will take on board and learn from. I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside," Sherif continued.

Since his return, he thanked supporters and family on Twitter and Instagram:

"Thank you to everyone including my friends and family for the support I've come back to. I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good, positive moments during my time on Love Island and for anyone wondering I'm all good  #ItIsWhatItIs."

Well, it's that time of the year again.

The moment where the sun comes out and all common sense retires, as you sit back on the couch and watch people in minimal clothing pretend to love each other.

Yep...Love Island is back. The fifth season is set to be bigger than ever, with an expanded villa and more twists up Caroline Flack's sleeve.

It's too hot to be wearing sleeves in Spain but you know what I mean.

The reality television show places young, attractive people who are 'unlucky-in-love'/massive players/lacking self-esteem/want money or attention into a house and they must find romance to win the £50,000 prize for best couple.

Now, this was my first Love Island viewing, and at first I was in a state of shock.

Then, as my IQ lowered, I could feel myself getting hooked on it. However, one thing kept annoying me and apparently the entire nation agrees: Lucie trying to make 'bev' happen as a word.

The 21-year-old surfer from Newquay who professed to wanting 'a dude' (vague, much?) and then did not pick a 'dude', continuously used the phrases 'a bev', 'bevvy', 'bevs', 'your bev', 'my bev' roughly 209347412 times.

It was honestly exhausting and I lost count fairly quickly of how many times she said it.

Here's what Twitter had to say. Trust me, they had a LOT to get off their chests.

What Lucie thinks a 'bev' is versus the rest of the UK is quite different…

"‘Lucie, are you here to find love?'

‘Nah, I just wanna make a Primark tee slogan, init bev.'

'When Lucie keeps saying Bev or Bevy'.

Of course, there was the Mean Girls reference: "Lucie. Stop trying to make 'bevs' happen. It's not going to happen."

Listen to Regina George, gal. She's got wisdom.

"No one:

Absolutely no one:

Not a soul:

Lucie: 'haha i love BEVS you look BEVVY you BEVVY BEV boy.'"

The state of frustration was too much for some people:

To be honest, what else were they expecting?

Remember, Irish viewers need to support our homegirl and resident brain of the house Yewande.

She's been receiving racial abuse since it was announced that she was entering the house, and it's NOT ON. She was also picked last and her beauty is being underappreciated, okay? Help a sis out.
