Lady Gaga's performance at the Oscars last week left us with all kinds of feelings.

Performing her song Til it Happens to You, she was joined on stage by a number of sexual assault victims in a moment that will not be forgotten easily.

Taking to Instagram today, she described the emotional journey to the stage.

"The first day of rehearsal with all the survivors I could barely get myself together. My body was wrecked with inflammation and pain, crying and shaking the whole walk to the stage.

"The whole night before I did not sleep. The fear of knowing I would finally face that I belonged in that group. I told them I was so sorry I couldn't be Lady Gaga for them, that I couldn't even get dressed.

"I could barely get through the song, couldn't hit any of the high notes. Hair wet, sloppy tee shirt jeans uggs, tissues. They all hugged me and told me that it was okay because it was more real this way, that they understood that they were in pain too.

"They told me they were there for me to support me because they believed this message needed to be heard. Without them I never could have felt strong.

"They accepted me for me, at my lowest and that was good enough for them, so somehow through the magic of their courage they made it good enough for me too."

We reckon Gaga slayed it. Watch the performance below:

Mean Girls may be the most iconic teen movie of our generation, but this trailer completely flips the comedy on it's head.

Instead of a hilarious satire on high school 'mean girls', Mashable has made a trailer for Mean Girls as a romantic drama based on a secret romance between Cady and Janice.

And it is really convincing…

It is also a movie we would absolutely watch.

Selena Gomez wore a stunning Louis Vuitton embellished gown to the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party but things did not quite go to plan.

The Hands to Myself singer looked absolutely stunning in the floor-length silver gown but revealed that she managed to rip the dress just after having her picture taken by the VF offical photographer.

Sharing the picture to Instagram, the 23-year-old blamed having one too many burgers as the reason for the wardrobe malfunction.

"I legit ripped my dress right after this shot," said Selena to her followers.

"I blame In-n-Out."

Yep, the pop princess cited a popular American burger franchise as the reason for the dress fitting a little too snugly on the night and of course, we all know the feeling.

Selena was joined by squad members Lorde and Taylor Swift at the star-studded after-party and we reckon they were on hand to help out their with her faux-pas.

Ah, the perks of a perfectly formed squad.

Many people would advocate that the best part of having an ice-cream is the cone and we would tend to agree.

And never has this been more true than the discovery of cones made from delicious, sugar-coated DONUTS.

Yep, this new concept has the internet extremely excited even though you have to travel all the way to Prague to try them.

And as we slowly but surely creep into the time of year where it is actually appropriate to have an ice-cream and 99 machines across the country have the cobwebs swept off, never have we ever craved somewhere closeby to serve this new spin on a traditional cone.

Because we could defo see ourselves heading out to Howth with a donut cone in hand.

The sweet treat is made from traditional donut pastry dusted with cinammon and sugar before topped with a healthy dollap of chocolate sauce and ice-cream.

YAS please.

If you happen to be a luck duck and are heading to Prague in the near future, you can find donut cones at the Good Food Coffee and Bakery.

She might count Lorde, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Lena Dunham amongst her besties, but the very first member of Taylor's squad was her childhood friend Britany Maack.

The pair have known each other since they were just a couple of weeks old, and so it was inevitable that Taylor would step up to the plate as Britany's maid of honour last month in Philadelphia, with both of them clad in custom Reem Acra courtesy of Tay.

Some luck (or Taylor-approved planning) with the wedding date meant that Tay was long finished with her world tour and so was able to head to Philly for the rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception.

So there's more than a few sightings of her in the 11-minute wedding video, which Britany shared yesterday. And there are definitely a few nuggets of info that we didn't know until now.

That Taylor performed at the reception for example:

Or that she partied 'til the wee hours on the dancefloor:

Or, most touchingly, that she made a super-cheesy but super-lovely maid of honour speech on the day. The video features some clips from the speech, which – if Britany and her husband Ben's reactions were anything to go by – went down a treat.

"He [Ben] would chase her, and pursue her through middle school and junior high and high school," she said of the happy couple.

"And their paths would diverge, and then come back together, and it would be so magically unpredictable but at the same time, so incredibly fated, just like the best love stories are."

She also made reference to the fact that her life has gone down a drastically different path than Britany's has, but added that their friendship has always endured.

"Everything in my life has changed except for me and Britany.

"She was my partner in crime at Brownies sleepaway camp, and she was my date to the Grammys."

Too cute. Watch the video in full here:

Katie Price is no stranger to controversy.

In the past few months she has faced parenting criticism after allowing her nine-year-old daughter to wear make-up and now it seems people are divided on her comments about son Harvey.

Speaking on Loose Women, the mother-of-three revealed she would not have continued her pregnancy at the time had she known Harvey would have special needs.

"I was young when I had Harvey and I admit it, that if I knew he was blind before I had him, as harsh as it sounds, I probably would have aborted him.

"Because to me it's like, 'Oh my God, it's blind, how would I cope?'. I know it sounds harsh."

She went on to say that now, she would not change her son for the world now.

"But now it's like, oh my god no way. If I got pregnant again and they said, 'Your child's going to have disabilities,' or anything, I would definitely keep it.

"I would even adopt a child with disabilities. Until you're in that situation, you don't know."

Harvey, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, was born when Katie was just 23 to football player Dwight Yorke.

"I absolutely love Harvey so much. I would never change anything about him. Yes it's challenging, but it's also rewarding.

"He's a great character and I love him. I don't think anyone should be ashamed at all if they've got a child with disabilities."

While there is still some way to go before the 32nd government is established, one positive outcome from the this years election is that the number of female candidates elected to government is up a third on previous years.

The record-breaking numbers see at least 32 women elected to the Dáil, up from 25 in the 2011 campaign (YAS QUEENS).

While this number could still grow after transfers and recounts, the number of female candidates seen across constituencies is most certainly moving in the right direction, even if still paltry compared to international standards.

The surge in numbers can be at least partly attributed to gender quotas implemented over the last few years.

For the first time, political parties had to consist of at least 30% female candidates or else face penalties. And we reckon it's no coincidence that 163 women went up for election this year as opposed to just 86 in 2011.

While the measure was met with a certain degree of criticism, more women than ever contested seats in the general election last week.

According to the National Women's Council of Ireland, gender quotas have had a significant impact and they are believed to have already altered the enduring: "culture of political parties."

"I came through convention and it was a very tough convention, I believe if you are good enough, you will get it on your own merits," said first-time elected TD Mary Butler of Waterford said to the Irish Examiner.

"But in some cases I accept a gender quota is needed especially where political dynasties prevail."

Kris Jenner's interview with chatshow queen Ellen DeGeneres touching on some pretty fascinating issues including her relationship to her former husband and her thoughts on the events portrayed in new hit show the People vs. OJ Simpson.

The 60-year-old admitted that she found Caitlyn's decision to date men, having been heterosexual for most of her life, as "confusing."

While she is happy for Caitlyn, the mother-of-six admitted it was taking time for her to process her feelings.

"You don’t want somebody to be miserable or in pain or anything like that. I think for me, just getting used to that, you know I am human and I have my feelings and I try, and its baby steps.

"And it’s the mourning of somebody that you feel you are never going to be with or see again."

Kris also weighed in on the events of the current hit TV programme, the People vs. OJ Simpson in which she is portrayed by Selma Blair.

Kris was a good friend of Nicole Brown Simpson and the former wife of Robert Kardashian who was a member of the legal team in the murder trial of OJ.

"I always feel horrible that I didn't pay enough attention," she said speaking about her friendship to Nicole.

Lena Dunham has never been one to hold back with her opinions, and mostly she's totally on the ball.

Today though, there's been some unexpected drama, which started this morning when she called out a Spanish-language magazine for Photoshopping an image of her for their cover.

So far, so unsurprising. Plenty of magazines using editing tools, and Lena wouldn't be the first celebrity to hit back about it.

"[T]his is NOT what my body has ever looked like or will ever look like – the magazine has done more than the average photoshop," she wrote in a comment directed at TENTACIONES magazine, who feature her on their March cover.

However within hours, staff at the magazine responded – and explained they hadn't used ANY editing tools on the image.

In fact, all they had done was crop the edges so it would fit their cover, a simple task that can be done using any PC.

"For the front cover of the magazine we used an image from the shoot you did in 2013 with the photographer Ruven Afanador, and which was published at the time by Entertainment Weekly," the open letter reads.

"Here at TENTACIONES, we acquired the photo via the Corbis agency, and we used the original that they sent us without applying any kind of retouching.

"Those who are familiar with and follow our magazine will know that we do not use Photoshop nor other digital tools to change the physical appearance of our cover stars, nor in the features to be found inside.

"On this occasion, the only thing we did was to crop the image to adapt it to the format of our front page."

They also linked to an original copy of the image, shared on Facebook by photographer Ruven Afanador back in 2013. Awks.

And they were sure to finish things off just a little cheekily, saying, "We are delighted to see that you still have your rebellious spirit. Let us have your address and we’ll send you our magazine as a courtesy every month, so that you can see for yourself that we like to reflect things the way that they really are."

Now to wait and see what Lena has to say…

Little Mix donned full costumes and American accents for their latest TV appearance as they put a country twist on their hit single Black Magic.

The foursome played out the performance as part of a Wild West themed stint on the latest episode of Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and it sure is something to behold.

The girls seemed more than happy to play along as the performance descended into a full scale brawl featuring the popular TV hosts.

While it's most certainly not our fave version of the song, the girls are certainly good sports and looked amazing as they donned full-on country and western style outfits.

And most fans seemed to adore the new spin on the girls' big hit.

It's safe to say that these gals can literally slay in any get-up.

We have all accepted that our favourite celebrities more than likely own the most extravagant, mansions that money can buy but Ashley Benson's LA villa truly is a girl's dream house.

Not monstrously big, the gorgeous white house complete with pool and a dream kitchen actually looks like a house Barbie could happily set up residence in.

With dreamy, fairy lights twinkling over the pool and a four-poster bed providing a total lap of luxury, we literally cannot understand why the Pretty Little Liars star is letting this property slip through her fingers.

As it turns out, Ashley is upgrading having purchased a new LA luxury property in October of last year for a cool €3.7 million making this doll-house like property which she purchased back in 2012 up for grabs.

And she is probably ecstatic with the profit she'll make on her former gaff as her renovations added a cool €735,000 thousand to the price-tag of the house.

It's safe to say, Ashley Benson knows what us gals want in a dream home.
