It has been confirmed that Kristen Chenoweth and her boyfriend of one year, Dana Brunetti have broken up.

E! News have said that the break-up was due to many factors including busy work schedules and that Dana wished to spend more time with his daughter.

The Glee actress and the Oscar-nominated producer are said to have been dating for a year since being spotted at Kristen’s co-star Matthew Morrison’s Halloween party back in 2013.

They made their relationship public at the Golden Globes back in January.

However, it didn’t seem like Kristen was letting the break-up get to her after her appearance on The David Letterman Show this weekend!

The bubbly Southern gal was as bright as ever as she hilariously described how Kim K’s butt “ruined her day” thanks to her album release cover.

Very few of us jump at the chance to be the designated driver on a girls night out, but there are some occasions when a night on the tiles may be an alcohol-free experience and we all just need to accept it!

Whether you drew the short straw and promised to bring everyone home or your wallet simply can’t stretch to five double vodkas; you will at some point find yourself the only sober one in a gang of drunken mates. Uh, life!

But here, ladies, are just a few reasons why that is not The Worst Thing Ever.

Style
You know all the effort you put into your hair and make-up? Well, isn't it nice to know that you’re going to look just as bangin’ at the end of the night as you did when you first strutted into the bar?

Hey, see your friend over there that just spilled a pint down her new dress? That’s not you for once, now rejoice!

Wealth
There's no way you're going to be short changed at the bar this time. Oh no, this is NOT going to be repeat of the night you tried to buy yourself and your reflection a drink and that damn barman let you.

Bask in your clear state of mind, wily ways and tight purse strings.

Mind
You know the way you have a whole host of memories now that you've woken up? Embrace them.

How many times have you woken up from a night with the girls and had to ring yourself to find out who you were? No? Just us?

Body
Those memories, when you are lucky enough to have them after a night out, are usually accompanied by a heaving stomach and blinding headache. Not this time. Need we say any more?

Embrace the feel-good factor, get yourself a healthy breakfast instead of your standard, 'been waiting to ring Domino’s since 9am' pizza and enjoy every nutritious morsel.

Soul
You know those texts you’re currently receiving from distraught friends who don’t know if it’s Sunday or August? That’s not you.

You know damn well it’s November and you’re going to enjoy every second of it.

There's definitely a lot to be said for abstaining from the old devil juice every once in a while, but that doesn't mean you should turn your back on those wild nights out with the girls where the blind lead the blind, the drunk dance with the drunk and the hungover comfort the hungover.

It's acceptable in your twenties so embrace it.

You can enjoy fifty two wholesome hangover-free Sundays in your forties.

This may be the best (and cutest) news, like EVER!

In a report by New Weekly Magazine, it has been claimed that Harry Styles is making the moves to win Taylor Swift back into his life!

The pair dated for three months back in 2012 but lately have been mentioning each other a lot more in interviews – and now this…

It has been alleged that Harry sent Taylor 1,989 roses as a gift for her new album 1989 – how romantic!

It was also said he has been texting her quite frequently.

We really, really hope this is true – we reckon these two should give things another go!

If you've managed to enjoy a cringe-free sex life, then spare a moment for the rest of us mere mortals who often have to suffer through embarrassing noises, awkward mishaps and unpleasant sensations in a bid to reach The Big O.

If any of the above cringers sound familiar, congratulations! You have a normal sex life.

Let's face it, it's not like the movies and it's never going to be, so that's why laughing off all those sexy time bloopers is VITAL if you want to actually enjoy the no-pants-dance with your other half.

Sounds
We don't need to go into specifics here. We all know what we're talking about when we say sex can be rife with noises more akin to a whoopie cushion convention than a romantic boudoir, but what can you do? These noises are unavoidable and if neither you nor your partner can handle hearing them, then best just abstain from sex from now on! Nah, we didn't think so.

Laugh it off (really loudly, incase there's any more on the way), make a joke and remind yourself that those sounds pale in comparison to the more joyful noises you're both making!

Logistics
Every single time you're about to get down to it, your boyfriend acts like he's never encountered a bra clasp. He wrestles with it, scratching your back in the process while you sigh and slowly feel the mood go off you.

Yes, it's frustrating, but either laugh and help the poor guy out or focus your attention elsewhere while he gets to grip with the rubik's cube he's certain is attached to your bra clasp. Getting irritated will only put an end to proceedings and is it really worth missing out?

Female issues
We've all been there. Your period makes a surprise appearance and all of a sudden the passion is dulled by bodily functions, gasps of horror and flashbacks of that infamous PE class in second year. White shorts, thanks coach.

No matter how close you and your partner are, you can still feel embarrassed and juvenile when something like that happens, but look, it all comes as part of the package and if you don't make a big deal of it, then chances are neither will he. If your boyfriend can't handle womanly issues, then maybe he's in the wrong type of relationship!

At the end of the day girls, you're naked, sweaty and gasping to begin with, so really, what else can happen that's more embarrassing or can't be laughed off?

Use the most awkward of moments as a bonding tool or a future in-joke, you'd be surprised how much more relaxing and enjoyable sex can be when you stop sweating the small stuff.

Katy Perry’s boyfriend Diplo is a dad again!

The musician has welcomed a son, Lazer, with his ex partner, Kathryn Lockhart it has been confirmed.

Lazer is the second son for the former couple, who are also parents to four-year-old Lockett.

Katy and Diplo began dating in May of this year, when Kathryn was two months pregnant.

Things have started to take a bit of a downhill turn for the star however, after he took on Taylor Swift – and the world reacted badly. Obviously, it’s Taylor Swift!

Diplo took things a bit too far when he accused the singer of having no “booty” and has now hit back at Lorde who jumped in to defend her friend, accusing Diplo of having a tiny d**k.

Katy’s boyfriend tweeted: “When I’m not being bodyshamed by a teenager we are collaborating on cool music.”

Sorry, did he just say HE was being bodyshamed?!

We think this whole thing may have started with you Diplo – don’t give it if you can’t take it!

Even Russell Brand was better than this guy…come on Katy!

We’re all guilty of ‘forgetting’ to have our Shellac professionally removed or deciding to paint over chipped polish without properly removing the old one, right? We forget to give our nails time to breathe and we load chemicals onto them frequently; is it any wonder they sometimes need emergency care?

If your nails are crying out for some TLC, but you can’t afford a professional treatment, don’t panic! Nail care can be done really well from home. All you need to do is familiarise yourself with the various steps that guarantee the perfect ten.

Five simple stages, girls…

Daily Treatment
Incorporating a 10 second nail and cuticle massage into your nightly beauty routine will do wonders for your nails. Using cuticle oil will repair any dryness or damage and gives your nails a healthy, solid base on which to apply products.

Moisturise
Place some moisturiser by your bathroom sink so that every time you wash your hands, you’ll be reminded to moisturise. Doing this will become second nature and you’ll see the difference in your hands and nails in no time!

Weekly treatment
Push back your cuticles once a week after a bath or shower when they will be at their softest. It doesn’t take long, you can use the edge of a towel if you don’t have a cuticle stick and doing so is vital for nail upkeep.

Emery board
Invest in a good quality emery board. Remember not to saw back and forth at your nail as this approach causes them to split and actually does more harm than good. Slowly shape your nails, taking care to smooth rough edges.

Fortnightly treatment
Having included all the above in your nail care routine, it’s now time for a DIY hot-oil treatment. You need to fill one bowl with oil and a larger bowl with a little hot water. Place the smaller bowl inside the bigger bowl and immerse your hands in the oil for about fifteen minutes. The result? Oh, so soft and smooth!

By doing all of the above, your nails will be in perfect condition for a Shellac or polish in the salon, but really girls, after sticking to this routine for a while and seeing the results, you may actually want to stay au naturel!
