We love a good on-again off-again love story, especially when it involves our gal Taylor Swift… and this one just keeps getting juicier.

After repeated rumours last week that a lovestruck Harry Styles sent his ex 1,989 roses to celebrate the release of her 1989 album, we thought the pair might be back on track for a reunion.

But Harry was questioned by Ellen DeGeneres when One Direction appeared on her show earlier today – and he's revealed the truth about the romantic stunt.

"I know about the rumour…but I don't know anything about the roses," said a slightly embarrassed Harry, when Ellen broached the subject.

Although the 1D star mightn't be chasing Taylor any longer, the two are definitely buds again after finally patching things up, according to a source close to the pair.

In another interesting twist however, the 1D star told Ellen he reckons "it might have been someone else" sending the gift and that he "falsely" took credit for it.

So… the search is on for T-Swift's secret admirer!

A tech start-up in Silicon Valley has hit the headlines this week for announcing details of a probiotic supplement that can “biohack” the female genitals.

So what does this probiotic do, you ask?

Reduce the risk of disease? Nope.

Increase fertility? Nope.

Its main function is in fact, to make your lady parts smell like “peaches.”

Oh, okay then.

The founders of Sweet Peach Probiotics, Austin Heinz and Gilad Gome, say the invention will offer women “personal empowerment”, allowing them to regain control of their own body.

Well, considering the only people who would actually benefit or care about the smell down there are our other halves, it doesn’t really seem empowering at all. Rather, it seems kind of like women’s equality gone backwards. Why on earth should us women, or anyone for that matter, want to change something that is totally natural and normal?

“All your smells are not human, they're produced by the creatures that live on you,” says Gome, as if having healthy bacteria in our body is somehow an issue that needs to be fixed.

In another unsettling statement, the Sweet Peach boys also added that changing the smell of the vagina was easy compared to changing any other part of the body, because “it only has one interference per month.” By “one interference,” they do of course mean a menstrual period.

We can’t imagine they gained any female investors with that terminology. As tech blogger Natasha Tiku puts it, “If they are referring to your period as "interference," someone […] may want to tell them about vaginal intercourse.” Zing!

To be fair to Heniz and Gome, their product did have some kind of medical foothold – they claim it will reduce the risk of vaginal yeast infection as well as changing the scent. What’s unfortunate though, is that their selling point definitely seems to be their probiotic’s smell-erasing function above anything else – you just need to look at the company name to see that.

The Sweet Peach Probiotic definitely seems like the type of bizarre product you might see on a Japanese infomercial, but it’s a bit sad that this product actually made it to the pitching stage with Silicon Valley investors. Do the women of the world really need another reminder that we are not quite perfect? Do we really need to be told that we could be simply lovely… if only we changed this one thing about ourselves?

Thankfully, the Sweet Peach idea has been deemed too controversial for now, and Heinz and Gome have gone back to the drawing board with their probiotic. Let’s hope that’s where it stays.

It hasn't been a great week on social media for the Kardashian/Jenner clan – from Kylie's epic rant last night on Twitter, to Khloe coming under fire for sharing "racist" images, things have really been heating up.

Now Khloé has added even more drama to the mix with some seriously ill-advised flirting.

Things kicked off when Kourtney's boyfriend Scott Disick posted this snap to Instagram, showing a magazine cover claiming he was "in love" with his lady's younger sister.

A photo posted by Lord Disick (@letthelordbewithyou) on

The image was captioned "YOLO", which we can't imagine poor Kourt was too happy about!

Khloé quickly picked up on the joke and re-posted the photo to her own page. Rather than just letting things lie, the star captioned her version of the photo with a cheeky invitation to Scott, saying, "These mags are like a great telenovela. @letthelordbewithyou you coming over later or nahhhh?"

Awkward, much?!

The pair have been pictured looking cosy together on more than one occasion, which is what we assume sparked the scandalous headline in the first place, but it doesn't explain Khloé's reaction!

The post was deleted by Khloé soon after – we can only imagine she's getting some serious silent treatment from her older sister after that behaviour!

There's no denying how much Disney films taught us as children, but have we ever stopped to consider how many things we can learn from these gems as adults?

From The Lion King to The Little Mermaid, the tracks from these films are positively teeming with life lessons and handy hints.

Take a moment to sing your favourite Disney song and emerge from your performance utterly enlightened.

Here are just five little lessons that these classic sing-a-long tracks taught us.

Can You Feel the Love Tonight?
There’s not a king or vagabond on God’s green earth that would judge you for falling in love with a sexy lion. End of.

Let It Go
Enjoying cold weather will ensure you’re immune to all of life’s trials and tribulations. So, man up, and go stand in the garden dammit.

Part of Your World
No matter how many gadgets and gizmos you have, it’s always acceptable to want more, more , MORE! Deadly, giz.

A Whole New World
If your boyfriend tells you he’s going to take you over, sideways and under on a carpet ride, get your mind out of the gutter and prepare to see some actual aerial views.

Colours of the Wind
If all you’ve painted with is a Crayola set in 3rd class, then you may as well give up. You’ve failed.

Kim Kardashian has a reputation for getting what she wants, but that didn’t help her out much when she tried to travel to India this week.

The reality star had made plans to promote her new perfume, Fleur Fatale, in the country, but was refused entry due to visa issues.

According to reports, the 34-year-old was penned to make an appearance on TV show Big Boss 8, the Indian version of Big Brother.

Taking to Instagram to address her disappointed fans, she wrote:

“To all my wonderful fans in India, I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to come to India as planned. When the opportunity presented itself to make the trip, there was a short window to coordinate all the elements necessary to make it happen."

She added:

“Unfortunately, time ran out so the trip has been cancelled. I look forward to rescheduling and meeting everyone soon!”

It doesn’t seem as though the mum-of-one is too down in the dumps over the incident however, as she proceeded on to Dubai with her entourage.

Indeed, she looks happier than ever in a photo of herself and a pal taking in some sun on a yacht.

It’s a hard life, isn’t it!

To all those who are squeamish, you may want to look away now.

Lady Gaga has added to her tattoo collection, and we just cannot get over where she chose to have her latest inking.

While Miley Cyrus shocked us with her lip tattoo, Lady Gaga has just won top spot in the shock department for her armpit inking.

Indeed, the Bad Romance singer opted for possibly the most sensitive body part for her massive new piece of artwork.

In homage to her ‘Little Monsters’, the name she has for her fans, Gaga chose to have ‘Mother Monster’ emblazoned on her body.

As well as this latest piece, Gaga has a rather extensive range of inkings. The star has a treble clef and rose design just above her bottom, a large flower and ‘Tokyo Love’ written on her shoulder, a peace sign on her wrist, German script on her arm – and the list goes on and on.

Despite the fact that Gaga is a seasoned tattoo customer, this looks like it must have hurt a great deal.

What do you think of the tattoo?

It has been a dramatic few weeks for The Script front man Danny O’Donoghue.

While the star is on cloud nine after selling out a string of gigs in Ireland’s Croke Park, he was no doubt brought back down to earth with a bang after being slammed by his ex, Bo Bruce.

It was all smiles for the singer as he stepped out with a mystery woman on his arm last night though, cuddling up to the brunette at the Hyde Park Christmas event in London.

According to eye witnesses, the pair certainly looked cosy, with a beaming Danny wrapping his arm around his date’s waist.

Indeed, it seems that former The Voice contestant Bo Bruce’s comments were the last thing on Danny’s mind last night.

Bo confirmed our suspicions that she and her former mentor had in fact been an item at one point, with the singer revealing that she and Danny had kissed on a number of occasions.

The star went on to reveal how she felt ‘humiliated’ when Danny gave an interview in which he said their relationship was a publicity stunt to win her more votes on the TV show.

“He just said some s*** in the papers and I was hurt,” said the 29-year-old.

Let’s hope Danny can tone down the drama with his new lady friend.

There are some beauty tools out there that have an unfair reputation for either being a waste of money or just plain useless and, unfortunately, foundation brushes happen to be one of these. We have no idea why, because this couldn't be further from the truth, ladies!

Foundation brushes are an essential part of your make-up bag and should be treated with the respect and awe they deserve!

Here are just five reasons these amazing brushes are essential, useful and just plain fab.

Cost effective!
You use a lot less product when you decide to apply with a brush.  A mere drop of foundation goes so much further than you’d think! We tend to be a little too liberal when applying with our fingers, but because the brush allows the product to be spread much further, you end up SAVING on your foundation! Result.

Smoother finish!
Foundation brushes are specially designed to glide over the skin allowing for a flawless finish. Our fingers don’t do quite the same job, which is why we sometimes end up with a tidemark around our jaw line or smudges near our hairline. Who needs that!

Less mess!
How often have you perfected your look, given yourself a major thumbs up in the mirror only to ruin your outfit with product-smeared fingers? Yeah, us too.  Using a brush, however, ensures that your hands stay product-free which is good news for you and your threads!

Soothing sensation!
OK, who doesn’t love the sensation of their hair being gently brushed by someone else? The sensation of applying foundation with a brush is not dissimilar! Treat yourself every morning with that soothing feeling! Mmmm.

More hygienic!
Whether we want to think about it or not, our hands aren’t exactly germ-free. So what happens when you use those hands to apply something to your face? Exactly. By washing your brushes regularly, (approximately every 2 to 3 weeks) you’ll avoid spreading germs and bacteria across that gorgeous face of yours.

Once you start using a foundation brush, you won't know how you lived without one. Go treat yourself ASAP!

Tan tights were an essential in any pale Irish teen's wardrobe. They gave a great faux-glow in the days before Sally Hansen was widely available, but they also unfortunately gave your legs the startlingly uniform look of a shop-window mannequin. Awkward.

We like to think we've moved on from buying tights in a shade of "Sunkissed Glow" these days, but Miley Cyrus has us thinking we might have turned our backs too quickly!

The singer is the new face of Italian hosiery company Golden Lady, and she is looking great in the newest campaign pictures.

In a leather jacket and crop top, Miley rocks a pair of nude tights pulled right up to her waist. As any Irish girl knows, that's the ONLY way to wear tights – though it's usually under a skirt or a dress!

The Rock Your Legs campaign was shot by Miley's good pal Terry Richardson – yes the same lad who snapped her as she bared pretty much everything in a skimpy red leotard:

We must say, we prefer her when she's covered up, even if it is only in a pair of tan tights!

We’re all guilty of telling a little white lie or two when it comes to the complex world of relationships. The question is though, how often do we do it – and what exactly are we fibbing to one another about?

SHEmazing! surveyed the men and women of Ireland to find out what they were most likely to lie about to their other halves. Let’s see what they had to say…

Turns out guys and girls are both most likely to lie to members of the opposite sex during a one night stand rather than in a serious relationship, with a whopping 73% of men and 70% of women saying they thought lying was acceptable with a casual hook-up. As for fibbing during a relationship, just 4% of ladies said it was okay – but 10% of Irish men didn’t see a problem with it.

Some of us would rather never lie at all, with 26% of women saying they thought it was never the right thing to do and 17% of men agreeing.

As for what exactly we are lying to one another about, fibbing about how drunk they were last night topped the polls for both guys and girls, with 53% of men saying they had lied about it, and 34% of women. Next up for lads was their previous relationships – almost half of men (46%) have told a few fibs about their exes.

On the other hand, in second place for women was what we think of our man’s outfit – a whopping 31% of us have told a lie on that subject!

When it comes to fancying one another’s friends, turns out this is a bigger problem for the guys – 30% of men admitted to lying about fancying their partner’s friends while just 17% of women faced the same problem. Interesting!

We all know lying’s not exactly best practice in a relationship – so why do we do it? Well, we’re an emotional bunch it seems, as the biggest motivator for lying among Irish guys and girls is not hurting one another’s feelings. A staggering 73% of men listed it as the main reason they would fib, and 79% of women said the same. Avoiding confrontation was another poll-topper, with 63% of guys and 72% of females saying they’d lie to keep the peace.

As for keeping up appearances, this was a bigger issue for ladies. Over half of women polled (54%) said they’d lie to impress a man, but just 43% of men would do the same.

So there you have it –it seems Irish men and women are all guilty of telling a pork pie or two, but it’s all for good intentions… well, most of the time anyway!

They have been doing their very best to put on a romantic show for the cameras over the past few months, but Beyoncé has done nothing to extinguish the split rumours surrounding her and Jay-Z.

The latest speculation comes after a 15-second teaser of a song from the singer’s new album was leaked yesterday.

The track, which is called Ring Off (really, B?) seems to be all about giving up on your relationship – not a great move for rumours surrounding her marriage.

The lyrics read:

"In the mirror you would stare/And say a prayer like, 'I wish he said I'm beautiful'/ I wish it didn't hurt at all/I don't know how I got here, I was once the one who had his heart.”

Beyoncé goes on to sing:

"Until you had enough, then you took that ring off/ You took that ring off/ So tired of the lies and trying and fighting and crying/ You took that finger."

Let’s hope this isn’t a case of art imitating life.
