Last summer, glam Queen Blake Lively launched her own website called Preserve

The space was intended to "connect users with makers (of things, of experiences, of stories)." She even got a splashy cover on Vogue for the debut and everything!

But now, a year later, Blake has announced that she is closing the site.

“We have an incredible team of people who do beautiful work, but we launched the site before it was ready, and it never caught up to its original mission: It’s not making a difference in people’s lives, whether superficially or in a meaningful way, " Blake told Vogue.

But not to worry that much as Blake is going to do a thorough re-launch of the site – in her own time.

“I never thought I would have the bravery to actually do that, to take the site dark and to say, ‘You know what? I haven’t created something that is as true and impactful as I know it can and will be."

"And I’m not going to continue to chase my tail and continue to put a product out there that we, as a team, are not proud of."

And even though Ms Lively is anticipating public backlash – "Failure! Folly! We knew she couldn't do this!" – the actress feels she will be ready to face it.

“I know what it’ll look like, what I’m facing publicly, that people are just going to have a heyday with this. But it’s so much worse to continue to put something out there—to ask my team to put something out there—that isn’t the best we can do."

"I’m going to take this hit, and the only way I can prove all the negative reactions wrong is to come back with a plan that will rock people. And I have that plan."

Ooh, Blake, we're excited now!

How-Old.net is a new Microsoft website that uses an algorithm to scan a photo of you and tell you how old you are.

It has been very accurate in some cases, and er, not so accurate in others.

Everybody seems to be caught up in the addiction and it is definitely the latest internet trend.

It does sound addictive alright, we'll all be testing every facial expression we have to see if we need to change up our beauty routine a bit.

We tried it out on a few of our favourite celebs, and the results may surprise you (maybe not Kylie though).

Kylie is only 17, we lived our teenage years all wrong…

Oh, North, why so serious? Frowning causes wrinkles, you aren't even two yet…

Poor old Ed, he's only 24!

Sure isn't it amazing what a bit of lippie and a beard can do?

Rejoice! Just in time for the skimpy summer attire and beach-holiday season, Rosanna Davison has revealed to SHEmazing! that she will be unveiling her brand new, hotly-anticipated website this Friday at 9am.

The former Miss World already keeps her 73,000 Instagram followers fixated with tantalising pictures of delicious vegan food freshly prepared and photographed by Rosanna herself. Her recipes include indulgent dairy-free chocolate cheese cake, vanilla coconut protein pancakes, and warm seeded scones with almond butter and blackberry jam (OK, now we’re officially drooling).

In between a hectic modelling schedule and high-profile shoots for the likes of Playboy, Rosanna – who additionally holds a BA from University College Dublin – studied at The College of Naturopathic Medicine for three years and is now a qualified nutritional therapist following her graduation more than a year ago.

Fellow catwalk queens who’ve switched to foodie interests include Sophie Dahl, who has two cook books and a BBC cookery series to her name, and Lorraine Pascale, who has a degree in culinary arts and fronts the UK version of My Kitchen Rules on Sky Living.

Hungry fans have long been crying out for Rosanna to release her own publication of recipes and expert dietary advice – and she also confirmed today to SHEmazing! that her book is officially en route, with a sneak-peak of the cover being posted on her website from Friday.

Rosanna is a keen fitness fanatic, and has studied Pilates to an advanced level

And although a keen fitness fanatic to boot (we wouldn’t expect anything less), Ms Davison furthermore told SHEmazing! that no amount of exercise will compensate for bad diet. “You have to first and foremost eat right and then you can complement that with exercise,” she advises. “Trying to do it the other way around is never going to work.”

Rosanna marked her 31st birthday late last week, celebrating with her husband, Wesley Quirke, and her immediate family. She went to Coppinger Row in Dublin's city centre on Sunday for brunch with close friends, later posting on social media a mouth-watering picture of her meal: a vegan-friendly Mediterranean platter with falafel and hummus.

Beyoncé may seem active on social media, but isn’t normally one to interact much with her fans on either Instagram or Twitter.

However, something important has come up and the superstar has made a rare statement on her personal website.

Following the terrible news that her backup singer, Tiffany Monique, is battling cancer, Beyoncé reached out to wish her well, writing: “We love you Tiffany. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Love, Beyoncé.”

Tiffany shared an update on her illness on Facebook, saying: “Fevers, a-fib or water since last Tuesday, quite a bit of pain and a lot of fatigue today. I’m finally ‘comfortable’ so I’m gonna get some sleep while the going is good.”

We’re sure Tiffany was delighted with Beyoncé’s public well-wishing for her and we wish her a speedy recovery.

We can’t believe we didn’t think of this. It’s totally genius.

A new website called shipyourenemiesglitter.com promises to wreck your worst enemy’s day by sending them “so much glitter in an envelope that they’ll be finding that sh** everywhere for weeks.”

The company will also send a note to the person who deserves the wrath of glitter with a note explaining exactly why, which will be mixed in with the glitter “thus increasing maximum spillage”.

The website has been so popular that ordering has been suspended as they work through their huge orders, or in their own words: “You guys have a sick fascination with shipping people glitter. We’ve received all order and working through them. There was a tonne so be patient.”

We sort of hope we’ve annoyed someone so much that they send us glitter.

Martha Stewart has spoken out about Blake Lively’s new website, Preserve.

And while it seems Blake may have a friend in Martha, we’re not so sure Martha’s latest comments reflect that!

The famous lifestyle and cooking guru said: “Let her try. I don’t mean that facetiously. I mean, it’s stupid, she could be an actress! Why would you want to be me if you could be an actress? I just did a movie yesterday, though – I can’t even tell you about it – but I want to be Blake Lively.”

Martha’s comments have confused us just as much as Blake’s website to be honest.

Blake Lively has left people scratching their heads following the launch of her lifestyle website, Preserve.

Before the website even went live, many had compared it to Gwyneth Paltrow’s site, Goop.

However, it would seem its broad range of spectrum has people confused with many taking to Twitter to mock the new site.

The website seems to be a place where consumer can buy food, alongside an Etsy style of US sellers, and some lifestyle advice too…

Now that does sound complicated!

What do you think of Blake’s online endeavour?

High street store Topshop, is facing some strong criticism from its customers, after one of its shoppers found a necklace that displays 19th century racist depictions of East Asians.

Apparently the customer questioned the store manager about the necklace, who then defended the jewellery design, saying it was “vintage” and, therefore, not racist.

The customer soon shared their complaints on Twitter, where many agreed that the said necklace shared racist depictions of the Asian community.

The necklace and matching earrings have since been removed from Topshop’s website, but images of necklace are still floating around on many social media sites.
