If you had dreams that Taylor Swift is writing her next album all about her break-up wih Calvin Harris and her new relationship with Tom Hiddleston, then you're going to be very disappointed by this news.

It's been two years since Tay Tay debuted 1989, and in her usual fashion she would produce another album this year (she's so far followed a pattern of releasing an album every second year), but alas, it's not going to happen.

One Twitter used asked Big Machine Records CEO Scott Borschetta if there's anything coming up for Tay, and he replied with a big, fat "NOPE."

Ouch, thanks for breaking the news softly, Scott.

You never know, she might be too busy with her new BF, or she could do a Beyonce and surprise us all…

If you missed out on tickets the last time U2 played in Dublin, then fear not, because they're coming back.

Bono revealed the news to a Spanish fan group, U2 en Espana, that they are in the middle of writing a new album and planning a new tour, all to take place in 2017.

"It's not finished yet but you will like it," the frontman said.

"In terms of lyrics it is stronger than WAR, it has more clarity. The tour is for 2017… you might see a few things in September or October though."

The band's last tour was the third best-earning tour in 2015, with the group making over €122m from ticket sales alone, so it's easy to see why they want to do it all over again.

Hozier came back with a bang this month after he released a track for the upcoming film, The Legend of Tarzan.

Entitled, Better Love, everyone (including his fans) thought that this was his comeback song – the track that would welcome him back into the music industry after taking some time off.

But as it turns out, the singer is flying right back under the radar.

"I'm going to take some time off so this is the last thing I'm going to be putting my name to for a little while," he told RTÉ TEN.

"I'm going to disappear for a while and work on the next album.

"In a similar way how I worked the first time round, go to a very quiet space and just see how the demos take shape," he added.

Even though we'll miss him in the charts, we're looking forward to a brand new music from the Irishman.

It's been six years since any version of the Sugababes has created an album so it's pretty exciting to hear that the band's three original members are set to release a comeback album.

According to NME, Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy are working on new music which will be released at some stage in 2017.

Singer Siobhán Donaghy told Wandsworth Radio: “Sugababes have got a record coming out next year. I can’t tell you the exact date."

"I know, but I can’t tell you. It’s next year.”

“We’ve been back and then there was a bit of a break. But we’re working on it again, so it’s exciting.”

Siobhán was the first member to leave the girlband on a solo venture back in 2001.

She was replaced by Heidi Range while she released the solo albums Revolution In Me and Ghosts.

By 2009 the three original girls had been totally replaced.

They decided to reform as Mutya Keisha Siobhán in 2012 and released Flatline together the following year but this is the first time they will reunite as the Sugababes.

It has been three long years but One Republic is BACK with brand new music. Eeek!

Their new track is called 'Wherever I Go' and it's a tuuuuune.

And that's not all. The band's lead singer Ryan took to Twitter to tell his fans that the band are releasing a full length album really soon. Double eeek!

There's still no release date for the album, but that's OK. For now we'll just jam along to this song.

Robbie Williams has some pretty big news this morning – he's making new music!

The singer confirmed that he signed with Sony Music to release his eleventh studio album.

Robbie said: "The team at Sony are professional, incredibly hungry, and have a great energy. They’re inspired, I’m inspired.

Very excited to announce my new album later in the year with @SonyMusicUK & Columbia Records #excited #sonymusic #columbiarecords

"I’m more ready than I ever have been and I’m totally convinced I’m in the right place. I look forward to working on this album, which is an album I’m immensely proud of, in this exciting new partnership with Sony Music."

However, any Take That fans might be a bit miffed by the news since there were rumours last year of Robbie making a comeback with the group.

We just can't wait to hear what new tracks Robbie has up his sleeve.

Beyonce's Lemonade has made the headlines all week long, mainly because it sparks so many questions about Jay Z's infidelity.

Did he really cheat? Who IS Becky? Why are they not wearing their wedding rings anymore?

But now, a source close to the couple told Us Weekly that the rapper is hitting the studio to make an album of his own.

“Jay is working on an album telling his side of things," the insider explained.

Bey's 60-minute art film addressed long-standing rumours of Jay Z's cheating with lyrics like “This is your final warning / You know I give you life / If you try this s‑‑t again / You gon’ lose your wife."

“The album says it all. It explains how she and Jay got through their problems. The good outweighed the bad, so she gave him a second chance.”

If Jay does create a new comeback album, we're sure it's going to be a great one and maybe we'll finally find out who this Becky REALLY is.

If we know Kanye like we think we know Kanye, we're not going to be surprised if he drops his newly named album Waves, along with his new Yeezy collection.

In his extravagant fashion, the rapper-turned-designer is said to be keeping people on their toes, and no one knows exactly when the album is going to drop.

But, according to Racked, Ticketmaster US has a LIVE page for an event called Kanye West – Season 3 – Swish.

Now, up until now we all thought his forthcoming album was called Swish, so this might just be an indication that both Yeezy Season 3 and Waves are debuting together.

What's more is that the Ticketmaster page also gives a date – the first date of New York Fashion Week; February 11.

And adding fuel to the fire, Kanye hinted at this date last week, sharing a photo of his producer, Swizz Beatz, looking at a laptop which read "Yeezy Season 3" and "11 Feb 2026."

To be honest, we shouldn't be surprised.

You've heard this one before ladies; Kanye West has changed that name of his upcoming album, yet AGAIN.

In March of last year, Kayne announced that his next album was called So Help Me God. However, two months later he changed it to SWISH (which we all kinda digged).

But now, Yeezy has gone and done it again, changing SWISH to Waves. Yes, Waves.

To be fair, he did say last summer that "he might change it again," but with two weeks to go until its debut, it's a little late notice.

He also shared a picture yesterday of a very scribbled-on notepad, with all the different album and song names.

The same notepad was signed by Kylie and Kim, with Kylie saying, "Kylie was here," and beside it, "Kim never left."

In recent weeks, Kimmy K has been pretty open about the €1m diamond present she wants as a push present from Kanye.

But the reality star will have to wait a little while until her hubby has time to go shopping.

The rapper took to Twitter on Saturday to announce to the world that he really doesn't want to be bothered for a while, and apparently he's warning everyone of the consequences.

He wrote on his social media account, "No offense to anyone… I'm asking everyone DON'T ASK ME FOR ANYTHING TILL AFTER I'M FINISHED WITH MY ALBUM," and then followed with "I'm finishing my album and my next collection…"

The clothes designer has been hard at work creating his seventh studio album, Swish. But signs are it's taking a long time to complete.

Maybe Kanye might cheer up after hearing his daughter, North, sent her first tweet

Rihanna has been taunting us with the details of her new album release for over a month now, but she's just given us a double whammy of good news.

First up, us Irish folks will finally get the chance to see the singer playing live again, with a date in the Aviva Stadium set for June 21, 2016.

Tickets are set to go on sale on December 3 – we know what we'll be getting for Christmas.

And while we might need to wait a a few days more for RiRi's album, ANTI, she has at least given fans a few extra hints about what to expect.

After revealing the album art a few weeks back, RiRi announced the launch of a new website, antidiary.com, earlier this week. The site, which can only be properly viewed on a mobile device, seems to be a teaser for her new music.

No sign of any of the new tracks appearing online but judging by the tour announcement, we have a feeling they are going to drop any day now.

Even with previous albums, RiRi was known for making eleventh hour changes to her music, so it's likely there are still some final tweaks being made.

"Almost every night, when you’re asleep, Rihanna is in the studio," journalist Miranda July wrote last month.

"As we spoke, she was still working on [Anti]."

We hope she hurries up…

Well, we don't know if this has ever been done before, but we're sure Blue Ivy is used to the recording studio since her mother is Queen Bey, right?!

Chris Martin has a very special guest on his new album, which will be released on December 4. Three-year-old Blue Ivy is collaborating with Coldplay on their song, A Head Full Of Dreams. How a three-year-old can collaborate, we don't know, but baby Blue isn't the only unexpected guest to sing on the new track.

Chris has also asked Gwyneth Paltrow, his ex-wife, to sing alongside Blue. What a combination, huh?!

The band have already revealed that artists such as Noel Gallagher, Beyoncé and Tove Lo are featuring in the new album, but we just didn't expect Gwyneth and Blue.

“Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives,” Chris explained to The Wall Street Journal.

“I don’t want to get too hippie, but what I’m trying to learn in my life is the value of every human. Inclusiveness is the key thing.”

OK, Chris, whatever you say!
