Remember when Ireland pretty much owned the Eurovision?

Oh, the other countries would show up alright, but we'd basically wipe the floor with them, and that is exactly why the Irish have a very special place in their hearts for the annual song contest.

If you're one of the thousands who tune in year in and year out then you'll be pleased to hear that by simply parking yourself in front of the box and popping a bottle or two of vino, you'll be in with a chance to get up front and centre with the one and only Graham Norton.

If you want to get your hands on a VIP trip to The Graham Norton Show, pick up a bottle of Graham Norton GN Sauvignon Blanc or Shiraz in Centra this week, and simply tweet a snap of yourself tucking in.

Don't forget to stick the #CentraLovesGraham hashtag on your post, and then sit back and prepare your story for the Corkman's Big Red Chair.

Cheers, ladies!

Ah, Friday night, the night of the week where, after four nights of wanting to, you can officially curl up on the couch with a glass (or bottle) or wine and watch some excellent television.

Everyone loves a bit of Graham Norton, so when we heard the line up for his show tonight, we got pretty excited.

The show will feature one of Taylor Swift's most infamous ex-boyfriends, Tom Hiddleston, who will be parking his butt on Graham's couch to chat about his role in upcoming action flick Kong: Skull Island

Also on the show will be actress Ruth Wilson, who is all set to discuss her role in Hedda Gabler, a production by The National Theatre.

Comedian Ricky Gervais will also be in attendance, providing some comic relief while also chatting about his up-coming comedy tour.

And to complete the line up is Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, who will be joining Graham to discuss his latest stage acting endeavour Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead.

If you would rather tune into The Late Late Show to see how Ryan Tubridy is feeling after all the antics from the Valentine's Special edition of the show, you won't be disappointed in the line up over on RTÉ One either.

Sitting down with Ryan is Hollywood star Eric Bana, along with Irish songstress Una Healy, previously of The Saturdays fame.

Fr Brian D’Arcy will also be in attendance to chat about his time as one of Ireland's most famous priests, and Olivia O’Leary will be on set to talk about the tumultuous week in Irish politics.

Next up will be rower Gavin Hennelley who recently made history by rowing solo across the Atlantic.

Wrapping up the night is 13-year-old Megan Halvey-Ryan, who suffers from scoliosis and was recently featured on RTÉ Investigates documentary Living on the List.

So all in all, if you are a fan of talk show TV, prepare to settle in for the night.

Ed Sheeran pretty much took himself completely out of the limelight last year.

There was no social media, no new music, and no gossip about him – just the way he wanted it.

But now, the man has come back with a bang this year, releasing not one but two songs on the same day – as well as having an upcoming tour and album on the way.

And part of being back in the limelight is having to do various promotions, such as radio and television shows.

The singer was on The Graham Norton Show last night and took part in everyone's favourite segment; the red chair.

Now, Ed didn't know it, but the man going on to the red chair was his childhood friend whom he spent a lot of time with growing up.

As the man sat down, Ed still didn't realise who it was – until he started telling the story about when Ed's mam made them sausages (it was actually kinda boring).

Look out for when Ed cops on to who it is (around 35:50), because his reaction is absolutely priceless.

Ah, the good 'oul days.

Nicole Kidman appeared on Graham Norton last night and while she was there, Graham took her on a trip down memory lane.

Pulling up pictures from Nicole's early years of modelling, no one could believe the difference between then and now.

Nicole actually spent a good few minutes talking about her curly hair and gave some advice to girls with curly gruaig.

"I have to say – anyone who has curly hair that's young: keep your curly hair! Don't straighten it because after a while, you don't get your curls back.

"They kind of become just a frizz-mass," she added.

Well, that was certainly a throwback.

Chat show hosts, in recent years, have been knocking it out of the park when it comes to their ability to create hype around particular segments of their programme.

Carpool Karaoke, Celebrities Read Mean Tweets, Drop the Mic and The Big Red Chair have, at times, surpassed the show's main interviews, so it's no real surprise that some of them are set to get their own spin-off series.

And the latest one to do so is Graham Norton's Big Red Chair. (Hurrah!)

Hosted by Graham himself, the much-loved chat show host will recall his favourite stories (there have been more than 500 so far!) before being reintroduced to the people who dared share their most embarrassing stories on national television.

Hitting our screens on Jan 6, we'll definitely be tuning in for this one.

Anyone who has seen Gone Girl will know that there was one particularly gory scene which you may have watched through your fingers.

And it involved Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris…on a bed… with a box cutter.

Yeah we know, the memories are stressing us out too.

Reflecting on her preparation for her role as Amy Dunne in the gripping thriller, Rosamund told Graham Norton that in order to play the part to the best of her ability she enlisted the help of a local butchers… and a Dora the Explorer doll.

No, seriously.

Opening up about the scene which saw her character kill her former boyfriend during sex, Rosamund said: "I'd never cut anyone's throat so I went to a local butchers and with great determination set about the carcasses with a Stanley knife in full view of customers."

And not only did Rosamund get knife-happy in front of the locals, she also did a little improvising with poor ol' Dora.

"I rehearsed with a Dora the Explorer doll in my back yard, probably in full view of the neighbours!" she laughed while chatting about the movie which had audiences on the edge of their seats back in 2014.

And if anything, this little reveal has made the whole thing even more terrifying.

Graham Norton's Friday night show is always guaranteed to give us some laughs, but we especially can't wait until tonight's episode.

Joining Graham on the couch will be Sherlock star (and classified hottie) Benedict Cumberbatch who will be there to promote his new flick Dr Strange.

Next up will be Bryan Cranston, who'll be chatting all about his new autobiography, which already sounds amazing.

Eddie Redmayne and LeAnn Rimes will also be sitting down the lads to talk about their various upcoming projects.

We can already see this show being an absolute belter.

Look, we've all seen the episodes where the Late Late is just Ryan rounding up his Montrose mates for a bit of a chat.

But credit where it's due – on other occasions Tubers and his band of merry RTÉ researchers really pull out the big guns.

And this Friday is one of those weeks. Up on the couch is none-than Canadian Christmas crooner and all-round hilarious guy Michael Buble.

That's not all, however. Also in studio is Graham Norton, as well as Donal Skeehan, and Kerry footballer Kieran Donaghy.

To top it all up, the Late Late is celebrating the legendary Joe Dolan with tribute performances from – mega-swoon – Nathan Carter.

Decades before he became a Friday night staple in the late 1990s, Graham Norton was making studio audiences laugh, and thanks to the wonder that is the world wide web, we've all been given an opportunity to see it.

In footage, which was originally uploaded to YouTube in 2014 but has been doing the rounds again this week, a teenage Graham is seen taking part in a hearty debate on the merits of teenage discos on a show called Youngline.

Sounding like the voice of reason among a group of teens who appear to have had a banter bypass, Graham asks his Youngline contributors who seem particularly concerned about the teenage discos: "What's the big deal? It's an oul dance."

Hinting at the notoriously witty chat show host he was to become in the future, Graham then fielded a question about his disco sexcapades with the same tongue-in-cheek manner we love him for today.

Ladies, this is gold.

We all know that the red chair can be a hit-or-miss concoction of tales good, bad, and (very) ugly.

But it was a certain Sean from Donegal who on Friday gave what we believe to be one of the best stories ever told on The Graham Norton Show

Recounting a rather unusual experience at a friend's wedding, Sean relayed to the audience the moment that the groom got up to address the gathered guests.

Asking everyone in the room to get up out of their seats, this groom next instructed the diners to turn over their plates; those with a clear plate being allowed to sit down again. Those who found a red dot on their crockery – a total of eight men – however, had to remain standing.

The groom then proceeded to reveal that he was aware that his new bride had slept with the eight men during their engagement. Stating that he planned on getting an annulment, the scorned man walked out of the room.

Stars on Norton's show – including Niall Horan and Chris O'Dowd – expressed a glorious mixture of surprise and admiration as Sean's story wrapped up.

And understandably, the Donegal man was allowed to walk from the infamous red chair too.

Niall Horan and Chris O'Dowd appeared on The Graham Norton Show last night and possibly made it the most Irish show ever.

The banter was flying as Niall spoke about his new solo track and we'd also say Chris was well on his way to pint number three when the show began.

The singer spoke about his hometown Mullingar and how the guards still bring him home after a night out!

But, then something so beautifully Irish happened when Niall went up to perform This Town.

Yep, Chris gave him a right old slap on the arse, like something we'd all see on the side of a GAA pitch.

Ah lads, you made the show wonderful.

After years of failing to compete against The Graham Norton Show, Alan's Carr's show Chatty Man has reportedly been cancelled by Channel 4.

Chatty Man has 2 million viewers on average, which is half of Graham Norton's 3.9 million.

According to reports, Channel 4 are said to have made the decision to call time on the show that has been running for 16 seasons.

Alan Carr spoke to The Sun about why he thought the show did not perform well, saying "the art of the chat show has evolved unless you can get the amazing guests all the time that Norton gets."

Alan also admitted that he thought having the show air on a Thursday night was the big problem, and he had done all he could to make it a success.

Fear not though, as this will not be the end of Alan Carr's chat show career.

The award winning host will reportedly present a new show called Happy Hour, which is set to air later this year.

Not all bad news so…
