Drake has caused uproar on Instagram today after he took aim at a private residential community and country club by accusing them of 'racial profiling'.

The Hotline Bling singer shared the establishment's logo on his private account and insisted that his stay there during Coachella festivities had been far from harmonious.

Drake, who appeared as a secret guest of Future's during his Coachella slot on Saturday, shared his thoughts on The Madison Club earlier today, and ultimately stirred up one hell of a publicity storm in the process.

"The most offensive place I have ever stayed at in my life with staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling," he wrote in the post which has amassed more than 200,000 likes in just eight hours.

Whether it was Drake's intention or not, The Madison Club has been inundated with scathing remarks and reviews from Drake fans ever since the singer's comments began circulating earlier today.

Responding to the post, one Instagram user wrote: "Welp. There goes their establishment lmfao."

The Madison Club has, however, yet to respond to the star's accusations.

Harry Styles has never been known for his acting skills, but that is all set to change this summer with the release of Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk

Given his lack of experience, it came as quite a surprise to all of us when the singer was cast in the much-anticipated film.

Speaking to The LA Times, Christopher defended his casting decision, saying that the One Direction star simply ‘had it’.

“When we put the cast together, we had some established names.”

He continued: “But for the guys on the beach, we really wanted young unknowns. He’s not that unknown, but he’d never done anything as an actor before. So he auditioned."

"I auditioned literally thousands of young men with different combinations of young men. And he had it.”

The 23-year-old said goodbye to his signature locks for the role and when asked if Harry was hesitant about getting his hair chopped, Chris replied “I don’t want to get into it.”

Which could either mean that the director didn’t want to waste time answering irrelevant questions or Harry had a major strop and Christopher is still sore about it?

The singer-turned-actor recently spoke about the experience with Dermot O’Leary on BBC Radio 2’s Saturday Breakfast.

“It was one of the best experiences of my life. Honestly it was amazing, it was a real challenge.''

He added: “I mean, I really loved being the new guy. I loved kind of being so far out of my comfort zone. It felt really good to kind of have no idea what I was doing for a little bit.”

Harry is in good company for his acting debut, joining a stellar cast of Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy.

Dunkirk is due to hit Irish cinemas on July 21.

Along with Adele, Taylor Swift and his wife Beyoncé, Jay Z has decided to remove a substantial portion of his material from music streaming service Spotify.

Despite being the co-owner of rival service Tidal, which was launched in 2015, the rapper had kept his music on Spotify up until now, but decided to change tack in recent days.

Reports suggest that Jay Z's decision may be the result of Tidal's poor performance, with Billboard recently reporting: "The self-proclaimed more artist-friendly service trails leaders Spotify (50 million subscribers as of last count), Apple Music (20 million as of last official count), and Amazon (never says, but when bundled with Amazon Prime could be well over 10 million)."

"Tidal’s subscription numbers are thought to be under 3 million and perhaps on par with competitors Deezer and Napster," they added.

Jay Z has removed nine of his 12 albums from Spotify, leaving only; In My Lifetime Vol. 1’, ‘Reasonable Doubt' and ‘Vol. 2 Hard Knock Life’, 'Collision Course’ and some singles.

Spotify confirmed the reports, announcing: "Some of [Jay Z’s] catalogue has been removed at the request of the artist."

The rapper bought Tidal for $56 million in 2015.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are undeniably one of Hollywood’s cutest couples.

Although the pair are known for keeping a relatively low profile, Ashton has never been shy about letting everyone know just how loved up they are.

Over the weekend, Ashton, who has been known to work closely with local schools and communities, was presented with the Robert D. Ray Pilliar Character Award for demonstrating "good character as a role model" at a ceremony in his native Iowa.

Ashton began his 16- minute acceptance speech by joking that he was probably the only person to ever receive the award who was once "pulled over by a state trooper while tripping on mushrooms".

The actor then quickly turned his attention to his children and wife Mila, who was in the audience at the time. In an emotional tribute he praised Mila, saying: "I mean, I'm telling you, this morning, I woke up and she kicked my ass on character,"

He continued: "I thought I was awesome because I got up early and helped with the kids before she woke up and I let her sleep a little bit and then she's like, 'Well, now you're gonna act tired? I do it every day.' But it was a character moment, right? Because she's right!"

The actor also spoke fondly of his parents saying how he actually felt lucky after they got divorced because they ended up marrying ‘’amazing’’ people.

"As long as you have love and kindness and optimism and a pursuit of something greater in your heart, you're the lucky one"

"So this award is for you. It is for my family, it's for all four of my parents, it's for my wife, who kicks my ass on character every day."

Ashton and Mila first met on the set of hit comedy series That '70s Show back in 1998, but romance wasn’t on the cards for the couple until 2012.

The pair have been happily married since 2015 and have been our ultimate couple goals ever since!

In the wake of  Zayn Malik and Niall Horan's respective solo releases, it's hardly surprising pressure was on Harry Styles ahead of his first solo endeavour.

But it looks like the former 1D singer need not have worried if the reaction on Twitter is anything to go by this morning.

The singer's first solo single, Sign of the Times, dropped today, and it looks like people are pretty impressed, with more than a few passing references to David Bowie circulating online.

An apparent departure from the signature One Direction sound, the 23-year-old has knocked it out of the park with this one…

So, it turns out Ed Sheeran could be to blame for those late night trips to the drive-thru.

Well sort of!

According to The Guardian, a study conducted by the Swedish Retail Institute found that certain songs increased customers spending at an unnamed US fast-food chain by up to 9.1 per cent.

Philip Graves, a consumer behaviour expert, explains: “Music triggers associations in our brain… The way in which we process our environment is primarily unconscious. What gets passed through to us is a feeling, and that feeling is then misattributed to the thing we are looking at.”

So basically, the more you like the song, the more food you'll buy!

Also speaking to the paper, Magnus Rydén, head of music at Soundtrack Your Brand, admitted that songs which are  “welcoming, modern, and expressive” are often used by retailers to target millennials.

So what's this got to do with Ed? Well apparently ‘’the perfect burger-and-shake tune’’ is hard to define, but Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You comes pretty close.

Now there you have it, next time you're tucking into a cheeky burger and chips you can thank Ed for the food coma!

Few film franchises have awoken the imagination of the public quite like Harry Potter, and any actor would jump at the chance to play one of the iconic roles, right?

Well, Sir Ian McKellen has revealed why he turned down the chance to portray the legendary wizard, Albus Dumbledore.

Richard Harris, who originally played the role, died in 2002 following the release of The Chamber of Secrets, leaving producers with huge boots to fill.

Sir Ian McKellen, who played Gandalf in The Lord of The Rings movies, was offered a part in the films but turned it down, because according to him, Richard Harris thought he was a “technically brilliant but passionless” actor.

Although producers never officially offered him the role of Albus Dumbledore, Ian is pretty sure he knew what they were thinking.

Speaking on BBC’s Hardline, the actor said – ‘When he died – he played Dumbledore, the wizard – I played the real wizard [Gandalf] of course – but when they called me up and said would I be interested in being in the Harry Potter films, they didn’t say what part.’

He added, ‘I worked out what they were thinking and I couldn’t. I couldn’t take over the part from an actor who I’d known hadn’t approved of me.’

Although he never actually played the role, Ian admitted that he does sometimes get mistaken for the man himself!

‘Well sometimes when I see posters of Michael Gambon, the actor who gloriously plays Dumbledore, I think it’s me. You know, we get asked for each other’s autographs!’

In fairness, we can see where the confusion arises…

Rockabilly songstress, Imelda May, isn’t holding any grudges following her split from ex-husband Darrel Higham, and is instead encouraging fans to listen to his new album.

The pair, who were married for 13 years, announced that they were calling it quits back in 2015, and Imelda has been keeping a relatively low profile ever since, but recently decided to give a shout-out to her ex.

Darrel, who is also a musician, released his new album last month and Imelda has no problem directing fans to his music.

She told The Irish Daily Mail's You magazine that she does not want her story to be one-sided, so advised fans to check out his music if they wanted his take on their split.

"Darrel has written his own album so if you want to hear his side of things you can go and listen to the songs on his album," she remarked.

Imelda, who recently switched up her signature hair-do, is back with her first release since 2014, and has said that the new album Life. Love. Flesh. Blood does not focus on her recent break-up.

She told The Mail Online:"People just presume that it's a break-up album because I broke up with my husband."

"But I met someone, so it’s about falling in love after a big split, being scared and feeling lust again,"

It can be difficult to keep the peace after a split, but we think Imelda is doing a pretty good job!

So, comedy fans down under flocked to the Sydney Opera House last night to see our very own Dara O'Briain kick of his Australian tour.

And if Twitter is anything to go by, the Irish in the audience were delighted by the addition of one particular item to the concession stand.

The iconic venue clearly did their homework and treated Irish punters to a little taste of home by selling our beloved Tayto crisps for the occasion.

Dara, who was only delighted to be performing at such a prestigious venue, took to Twitter after the gig to confirm that he did not request the crisps were sold, however he added that it was a nice touch.

He is set to perform again tonight and we can only hope that after the success of last night the venue will up their game.

Spice bag, anyone?

Aside from a scattering of high-profile women who deign to admit the reality of the post-pregnancy life, Hollywood would have you believe that A-list stars sail through pregnancy, labour and the months which follow experiencing little more than a subtle stretchmark and a mild case of indigestion.

With that in mind, it's refreshing to hear that one of the entertainment industry's biggest stars is keen to shed light on the various side effects experienced by women after becoming mothers.

Speaking candidly to Elle magazine, Glee star, Naya Rivera, admits that following the birth of her son, Josey, in 2015, she began losing her hair.

Love love loving this updo for @therealdaytime today! Here we go!!!

A post shared by Naya Rivera (@nayarivera) on

"There's a real post-partum hair-thinning issue, and nobody talks about it because women are so embarrassed to admit they're losing their hair. But it's a real problem," the actress told the publication.

In an industry which prioritises appearance over much else, Naya was initially disappointed she didn't experience hair thickening during her pregnancy and then panicked by the sudden hair loss following her son's birth.

"I didn't get crazy thick amazing hair at any point during my pregnancy. I was expecting it, and waiting for it, and it never happened. I was like, "Where is my awesome part of the pregnancy bargain?" I didn't grow some amazing mane," she said.

"On top of that, with the dramatic drop in hormones that comes with breastfeeding, and then not breastfeeding, and the whole birth process, the parts around my scalp were thinning and breaking, and nothing seemed to repair them."

The star, who filed for divorce from Ryan Dorsey in November of last year, sought the help of the Glee crew, but admits there was little they could do for her.

"I would be working 16 hour days, which is normal for TV, and my hair would be in a tight ponytail that whole time. They kept spraying it with hairspray, and when I got home, it looked and felt like dried lasagna."

"Above my ears, it looked like it had been burned off with a hair iron or something. And my scalp was so dry from heat styling," she added.

Nowadays, Naya preempts any damage with a strict routine, saying: "I got to the point where, if I knew I was doing a ponytail day, I would basically coat my hair in coconut oil the night before. And to this day, I'll do that before a ponytail day. Seriously. It requires a lot of prep."

It's pretty refreshing to hear a celeb get real about these issues.

The La La Land / Moonlight mix-up during the 89th Academy Awards will go down in Oscar history, not least because of Ryan Gosling's somewhat surprising reaction to learning he had not, in fact, bagged himself a little gold statue as audience members and viewers understood.

While many would have understood a disappointed or even frustrated response from La La Land's leading man, Ryan surprised fans by giggling into his sleeve after word landed that the musical had been awarded Best Picture in error.

Standing among stunned cast and crew on stage, Ryan attempted to hide a smirk behind his hand, but now, one month on, is at pains to explain his odd reaction.

"What really was happening as I was watching, it was surreal anyway, I was watching people start to have this panicked reaction in the crowd and guys were coming on with headsets and I felt like someone had been hurt," he said.

Speaking to People magazine, the 36-year-old insisted that his reaction was one of relief because the initial chaos led him to believe that someone had been taken ill.

"I thought there was some kind of medical situation, and I had this worst-case scenario playing out in my head," he said when reflecting on the confusion which played out in front of millions of viewers worldwide.

Recalling the moment it all became clear, he said: "And then I just heard Moonlight won and I was so relieved that I started laughing.”

And lest there be any confusion over his response to the loss, he added: "Truthfully, I was also so thrilled that Moonlight won. I know the director. I’ve worked with them before. I’m so happy for them that they were being recognised."

So, now we know.
