In todays amazing technology news, there is now a mirror that is able to measure your bra size all by itself.

Because let's be honest, it's always pretty awkward when a stranger has to measure you. Where do you look?! And where do you put your hands?!

The super gadget was first introduced in lingerie store, Rigby & Peller in Hong Kong, and apart from measuring your size, it can also tell you the best shape of bra to choose out of all the brands in the store. 

All you have to do is wear your current bra – no awkward naked encounters here – and slowly turn around to allow the mirror/computer to scan your upper body. 

The smart technology, called Catherine, then takes over 140 measurements of your body and analyses the data to give you your correct bra size AND how it would differ across the various lingerie brands. 

The 3D mirror proved to be so popular in Hong Kong that Rigby & Peller now have one installed in their London store.

Kelly Dunmore, chief lingerie stylist for the brand, spoke to HuffPost UK Style all about the new technology. 

"Customers have the choice of engaging with a lingerie stylist, the 3D mirror or indeed a combination of the two to learn about not just their size, but also shapes, styles and seasonal colours and trends which suit their bodies and lifestyle needs."
