*Spoilers for season 5*

HBO have released twenty images from the hotly anticipated upcoming season of the hit fantasy show, Game of Thrones and people are understandably getting very excited. 

While eagerly await the show's return on April 24, snaps from the set reveal some clues of what to expect from the sixth season of the show. 

Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams is seen in her newly blind state while not much is given away in pictures of her sister, Sansa, played by Sophie Turner other than that she and Theon survived their dangerous escape from Winterfell. 

We also seem to receive confirmation of Myrcella Baratheon's death at the hands of an aggrieved Ellaria Sand while we get a snap of Daenerys looking well, just beautiful. 

And we also cannot get over how old and tall little Bran has gotten. We didn't see the youngest living Stark child for the entirety of the last season and it seems that the 16-year-old actor had a bit of a growth spurt. 

And he appears to be standing (has someone cured his paralysis?) 

We don't know about you, but these snaps have seriously wetted our appetite for the new season. 

Bring on April.

What's better than an upcoming dystopian film about two people falling in love in a world free of human emotions?

Well if those to people happen to be played by Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart obviously. 

And this is exactly what we can expect from new film entitled Equals, directed by Like Crazy director Drake Doremus. 

The trailer shows a futuristic, cold reality with a palpable chemistry between the two leads. 

While the film's two stars fend off dating rumours, the film is due to be released sometime in the summer.

Root out your brightest dress and boldest red lipstick, because this year's CMRF Gala Ball has a very special theme.

TV3's Karen Koster was all smiles yesterday as she launched the 2016 CMRF event – a Mad Hatter's Ball, taking place on March 5 at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in Dublin.

As well as being a great (and uber-glam) night out, proceeds from ticket sales and other activities on the night will all go toward the provision of extremely valuable resources at Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

This year the aim is to raise in excess of €175,000 for The No. 10 Fund, a fundraising initiative established by Irish rugby stars Johnny Sexton and Ronan O’Gara late last year. The main aim of the fund is to help build a new cardiac day unit at the hospital, something which is expected to cost in the region of €750,000.

As well as buying a ticket, there will be plenty of ways for attendees at the ball to show their support, including a Diamond Raffle to win a €5,000 voucher for Cullen & Co jewellers, a Silent Auction via text for some seriously luxurious prizes, a raffle at each table and a Live Auction.

Karen, who is currently pregnant with her second child, says becoming a mum has highlighted the importance of this cause to her in a huge way.

"Since becoming a mum to Finn last year, and now with another baby on the way next month, I truly appreciate the work that CMRF Crumlin do on behalf of sick children in Ireland," she explained.

A rape victim in India has been arrested on charges of attempted murder after she severed the penis of her attacker and brought it to her local police station. 

The 32-year-old claimed that her brother-in-law had been forcing himself on her for days forcing her to take matters into her own hands… literally. 

The Indian woman then pretended to have consensual sex with her attacker in order to make her move. 

"When he forced himself on me, I faked consent and severed his privates with a sickle," she reportedly told the police. 

The incident, which according in the Sidhi region of India, was the only way the woman believed she could protect herself from further attacks. 

When police officers arrived on the scene, they found that the suspect had committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near the house. 

According to the Mirror, the woman has been classified as mentally stable and has little remorse for her actions.

We Irish have such a strong admiration for bacon that we are genuinely surprised we didn't come up with this idea ourselves. 

It was in fact two Floridians who came up with the idea of bacon roses that well frankly, we would be delighted to receive this Valentine's Day. 

"I made bacon roses as a birthday gift, and delivered it to a busy office last January," said creator Logan Rae. 

"By February, employees and my co-workers were requesting them for Valentine's day. The sales became too much to handle, so Kimmie Hruda joined me and we created Bacon Boxes."

Bacon. Boxes. That is pure genius. 

"We've received a lot of excitement in response to our products – it's a totally new product unavailable anywhere else, we couldn't be more proud," said Logan to the Mirror. 

"We've been referred to as the Louis Vuitton of bacon and generally as the 'best in bacon', so often that it became our punchline."

Scientists the world over were celebrating yesterday after NASA finally confirmed some pretty huge news – that the gravitational waves predicted by Albert Einstein a century ago do indeed exist.

As with any signifcant piece of scientific research, the discovery was embargoed from the media until an official release was sent out yesterday afternoon.

But one scientist based at NASA's Flight Centre in Maryland got a little over-excited, and broke the news to the world 16 minutes she was meant to… via a picture of cake.

Yup, the folks at NASA had a specially iced cake commissioned for their celebration day, with the words "Here's to the first direct detection of gravitational waves" written on it.

Unfortunately for NASA, Erin Ryan happens to be followed on Twitter by both the Washington Post and the NPR (National Public Radio). Oops.

Bizarrely, this is not the first time poor Erin has broken an embargo via a picture of cake – which could explain why she has such a host of media followers on Twitter.

Back in 2013, Erin tweeted a snap of an (albeit half-eaten) cake celebrating the discovery of a chemical called propene on one of Saturn's moons.

She admitted to the Washington Post yesterday that her employer advised her "to maybe chill with the tweeting for a week or so" after the original cake-leak in 2013… but we kinda hope she never stops.

Jacob Tremblay has been giving us endless joy while on his extensive press circuit for his amazing turn in Lenny Abrahamson's Room. 

Whether taking selfies with Leonardo DiCaprio, giving the cutest acceptance speeches ever or hitting the red carpet in his dapper little suits, the nine-year-old has been a breath of fresh air this awards season. 

And he is continuing to slay as he does his best red carpet looks for Conan O' Brien on his US television show. 

The Canadian actor displayed his talent for comedy as he showcased three suspiciously similiar takes on the 'blue steel' look made famous by the Zoolander films. 

We just can't cope with how adorable this kid is.

Kanye has managed to land himself in even more hot water after his Yeezy Season 3 showcase in New York yesterday, not that he probably cares. 

In a new track entitled Famous, the 38-year-old raps about Taylor Swift in the song that debuted at the showcase. 

"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex," go the offensive lyrics. 

"I made that b*tch famous."

The lyrics allegedly refer to his stunt at the 2009 VMA's when the rapper interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech. 

Though initial reports indicated that Taylor had given Kanye permission to use the song, the Out of the Woods singer quickly dispelled those rumours in a statement issued by her representatives. 

"'Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account," said Taylor's reps. 

"She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.

"Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that b*tch famous.' "

And it seems that a host of famous faces have come out to defend Taylor, not least her younger brother Austin. 

Tay's little brother took to Twitter to defend the star, posting a sassy video of himself binning his Yeezy trainers. 

Squad member Gigi Hadid, who was in attendance at the show also tweeted to defend herself and her pal. 

Well we reckon Kanye definitely has some balls for going after Taylor and the squad.

We reckon that actress Dakota Johnson has a point when she declared that Jamie Dornan should get more naked in the upcoming sequel to 50 Shades of Grey. 

On American TV with her How to be Single co-stars Leslie Mann and Alison Brie, the actress was asked whether she thought it was fair that audiences saw way more of her body than of Jamie's in the first 50 Shades of Grey film. 

"I'll probably get in trouble for this answer," replied the 26-year-old. 

"I mean, yeah. I'm gonna make him get fully naked in the next one.

"Everyone wants to see the d."

Irish actor Liam Neeson has had to release a statement regarding the 'incredibly famous' lady he is allegedly dating. 

While promoting a 1916 documentary he narrated, the Taken star confessed that he has a new woman in his life. 

"I'd embarrass her if I said her name, she's incredibly famous. I'll have to do my best for her," the 63-year-old told the Irish Independent last week. 

"It's amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady's life, I find."

And as the world speculated on who this lady may be (including us), after being linked to the likes of Susan Sarandon and even Kristen Stewart Liam has been forced to set the record straight. 

"He was joking with an Irish journalist while conducting an interview promoting a documentary," said the actor's rep to People Magazine.

"The humorous tone of that statement did not translate in the printed version of the interview."

While Liam may not have an incredibly famous lady on his arm, the rep did confirm that the actor is dating someone but did not reveal her identity. 

We're still delighted to hear that he is seeing someone.

So in one foul swoop, Kanye West has dropped an entire album and a colossal fashion collection all at his Yeezy Season 3 NYFW showcase. 

The star-studded event, which took place in a packed Madison Square Garden, featured reams of models all donning Kanye's statement neutral tones finishing with supermodel Naomi Campbell taking to the stage. 

Described by the Guardian as a bit of a ramshackle event, crowds were forced to wait for an hour and sit through two false starts before the show began.

Kanye dropped his new album, officially titled the Life of Pablo which he appeared to play from a laptop. Hundreds of models then flooded the stage for the duration of the show while Kanye's new music rumbled throughout the giant auditorium. 

Kanye finished the show by thanking Kim and yelling to the crowd: "Tell me how you feel … did I deliver my promise of the album?"

And the Kardashian-Jenner brood were out in full force all wearing tailor-made Balmain for Yeezy ensembles. 

As reported yesterday, Khloe and her estranged husband Lamar were caught for the first time together since his health issues boarding a private jet to attend the show. 

Lamar appeared to be in good spirits as he was snapped being warmly greeted by members of the family.

Oh and in case we didn't have enough to discuss, Kim has gone peroxide again (though we are wondering if it is a wig).

We may know her as a ditsy cheerleader on Glee, but Heather Morris is now the proud mother of a second child. 

Announcing the news on Instagram, the 29-year-old actress welcomed a baby boy in the US yesterday with husband Taylor Hubbell.

"Owen Bartlett Hubbell 7lbs 3oz born 2.11.16…" read the happy caption.

"I can't tell you how amazing an experience to go from a cesarean (sic) and having a VBAC… but I did it with the loving help of my husband, Dr and family 🙂 and of course this little guy." 

Heather and Taylor welcomed their first son, Elijah, in 2013 and officially tied the knot in May of last year. 

The loved up pair made things official a romantic forest ceremony attended by many of Heather's Glee co-stars.
