Cecilia Ahern's debut young adult novel Flawed has been picked up by international film production company Warner Bros to be made into a feature-length film. 

And the book isn't even out yet! 

The dystopian novel, which has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, tells the story of a teen who lives in a society in which one small mistake can leave you branded with an 'F' for flawed.

Once you are 'flawed,' you are then forced to live as a second-hand citizen. 

According to Variety, production for the film has already been set in motion and writer Rebekah F Smith (who has worked on hit US TV show Zoo) is attached to adapt the novel to the screen.  

Wendy Finerman, who has a long-standing relationship wth Ahern having produced P.S I Love You, is also on-board to produce the upcoming film. 

This news marks the third movie adaptation of one of Cecelia's highly successful novels after P.S I Love You and Love, Rosie. 

Flawed is set to be released in Ireland and the UK at the end of this month.

Grimes's gigs are generally full of electronic dance madness, but there was a bit too much electricity even for her last night.

The Canadian singer was at Dublin's Olympia Theatre for the (sold-out) final leg of her European tour, but unfortunately had to cut out much of her set due to severe technical issues.

Within minutes of kicking off, the singer, real name Claire Boucher, had to stop mid-song, explaining that her PA and sound equipment had malfunctioned.

Loud blasts of sound – and possibly electricity – coming through her earpiece meant she couldn't continue and had to stop during various tracks to try to fix the issue.

Like a true professional, she powered on through, and luckily the crowd didn't seem too bothered, even giving her a rendition of Happy Birthday after she revealed during one gap in her set that her birthday was in fact on St Patrick's Day.

While Grimes did tell the crowd at various points that she was being "electrocuted," Twitter's vocab pedants have stepped in to set the record straight:

Electrically shocked – yes. Electrocuted – no (thankfully).

Having lost half of her equipment at Heathrow Airport before her 2012 gig at Electic Picnic, poor Grimes doesn't have a great track record with Irish gigs, but she doesn't seem to have shunned the Emerald Isle just yet.

She was hanging out in the Phoenix Park yesterday and has promised she'll be back to "visit castles" soon:

Here's hoping her next trip over here goes heaps more smoothly.

Eric Cowell may only be two-years-old but it looks like he is already a hit with the ladies. 

Simon Cowell's little lad was seen hanging out with Terri Seymour's daughter Coco for her 1st birthday in LA earlier this week. 

Simon and Terri, who dated for six years, remain close friends and are even godparents to each other's little toddlers. 

The couple, who broke up in 2008, have both moved on with Simon dating Lauren Silverman and Terri having a child with her partner Clark Mallon. 

The star-studded bash was attended by both Simon and Lauren as well as Terri's close friend Mario Lopez. 

"It was perfect timing with his son Eric being so young and he hoped I would have a baby girl so he could set her up with Eric and they could date," said Terri to Hello! Magazine last year. 

And it seems that Eric and Coco are already best pals as the cheeky 2-year-old planted a big kiss on the birthday girl to celebrate. 

The toddlers were introduced in April of 2015 as documented by Terri's Twitter and appear to have hit it off as they regularly go on play dates together. 

We're calling this future celebrity couple now folks.

Adele may be known for having a very big heart, but this totally unplanned moment from her London show yesterday feels particularly special. 

The singer actually stopped the entire show after she spotted a couple get engaged during her rendition of Bob Dylan classic, Make You Feel My Love. 

Without hesitating, she brought the couple onstage to celebrate. 

And thankfully the beautiful moment was captured by fans. 

"[That was] the most beautiful thing I've witnessed at one of my shows," she gushed to the newly-engaged couple. 

"Congratulations, I'm so happy for you!"

The 28-year-old has been spreading some serious love ever since her tour kicked off a few weeks ago in Belfast. 

In Dublin, the singer helped out a desperate fan who couldn't get tickets and invited him along to the sold-out gig as her special guest. 

Meanwhile, everyone is speculating whether the singer is engaged or has even already married her long-term partner Simon Konecki as she has sported a big sparkler on her ring finger for the duration of the tour so far. 

Keep spreading the love Adele, we love it.

Mariah Carey may be considered a bona fide diva, but this seems a bit excessively diva-ish, even for her. 

According to the Sun, Mariah's brother Morgan has called out his famous sister for allegedly refusing to help out the family with the cost of her sister's medical bills. 

Morgan is the eldest of Mariah's three siblings and her younger sister Alison is reported to be recovering after a near-fatal accident in Hawaii last year. 

"Your sister is dying and she is struggling and where are you?" Morgan reportedly said to the paper.

"You think you are so fabulous, but you are a witch.

"Mariah needs to step up. I flew in from Hawaii last year when Alison was taken off a ventilator, believing she was going to die." 

"Thankfully, Alison had a miraculous recovery but now she needs brain and spinal surgery and will be going into hospital any day."

According to the Daily Mail, the sisters have been estranged since the mid-nineties. 

Alison, a mother-of-four, has admitted in interviews that she is HIV positive and has previously worked as a prostitute in New York to fund a drug habit. 

Mariah is currently planning to wed her billionaire fiancé, James Packer.

Snaphat's filters have been giving us endless joy over the last few months and we actually can't imagine a life without them. 

From becoming the most adorable dog that ever lived (with flawless skin might we add) to the gamechanger that is Face Swap, the popular app's latest addition definitely feels a bit familiar. 

The new face-warping filter now gives you VERY luscious lips in a purple shade and well, a certain Kardashian star reckons it may have been modelled after her.

"Are you making fun of me Snapchat?" says the 18-year-old in a story posted yesterday in which she dons the comicly large lips. 

While the app regularly incorporates filters that exaggerate facial features, we kind of love that the reality star can make fun of herself and her infamous lips. 

Snapchat will want to keep a good relationship with Kylie though as she is one of their most popular users. 

And judging from those mini Snapchat soap operas she created last month, it's safe to say she's a great example of what can be done with the app. 

We'd be sending some flowers over asap, you guys.

Deserted tropical beaches, sea trampolines, private jet skis and of course being holed up on an island with your hunky beau; yep, Taylor Swift is currently on our dream holiday. 

It seems that Tay has decided to treat her boyfriend Calvin Harris to a fun-filled vacay which coincides with their one-year anniversary last week. 

Calvin may have given her a personalised locket for the occasion, but we reckon a holiday to literal paradise is going down a treat as well. 

The pair have been sharing snaps from their little slice of heaven on Instagram which includes a lot of bikini snaps and even more PDA. 

But don't think they are just lounging on the beach, the pair have also been keeping active with excursions on jet skis and having a bounce on a SEA trampoline (which we didn't even know existed).

To mark the occasion, Calvin bought his popstar bae a gold locket on a long chain inscribed with the date they got together and let's just say Taylor pretty much hasn't taken it off since.

Let's be honest, we always loved the Sprouce twins. Since they popped up on the Disney Channel as Zac and Cody, it's safe to say we couldn't get enough of them in our pre-teenage years.

Along with their wistful nature and blonde moppy hair, they never failed to give us a good laugh as kids.

But the brothers have grown up now – and Cole has completely changed his look.

Since graduation from NYU last year, the actor announced that he's taking part in a much more grown-up TV show; CW's upcoming series Riverdale.

He's been cast as rugged Jughead Jones, and in an Instagram post, he revealed that he's already getting into character.

HELLO! 

Yep, he's mega handsome. But if you think he's looking a bit sinister, watch this fan video which shows him just being the cutie he always was.

Your Paddy's Day just got a whole lot cuter.

Thanks to That Dad Blog, father-of-six, Alan Lawrence dressed his six-month-old son up as a Leprechaun – ginger beard and all.

Alan told Today.com that he holds his son in the pictures and then photoshops himself out – something that can take up to three hours to produce.

Everyone in the family comes up with the ideas for each photo and Alan plans on "posting photos everyday until the 17th."

These ones are just too cute to handle so we can't wait to see what he has in store over the next few days. Here's a look at our faves:

Yoga can be difficult for any beginner, but Sjana Earp, who is one of Instagram's favourote yogis, tried to teach a couple of lads a few poses.

Sjana can perform the most difficult yoga poses and snaps some in front of the most breath-taking backdrops to delight her 1.1 million followers on social media.

But let's just say these poor guys are no yoga masters, and Sjana nearly got hit in the face while trying one pose for Cosmopolitan.

If you're not a yoga lover, you can probably feel for these guys – but the results are quite hilarious.

Just because you're one of the biggest stars on the planet, doesn't mean you won't get hit with a parking ticket. 

And Harry Styles was stung with one today while he popped into a grocery shop.

The Sun reports that the ticket was to the tune of £70 (€89) and when he came back out the parking warden was nowhere to be seen.

Before Harry came out of the shop, the parking warden was seen taking a picture of the black Audi – looking quite cheeky.

When Harry realised what happened he ripped the ticket off the windscreen and rushed back into the car.

Sorry Harry, you can't win at everything.

Last week Kim Kardashian broke the Internet once again with a totally nude selfie.

And while most woman started to slut-shame and body-shame her, one women shared another nude selfie to support her.

Actress Emily Ratajkowski took to social media and posted a naked picture of herself. And although other celebs defended Kim – like Amber Rose – Emily's picture didn't go unnoticed.

Emily took to Instagram today to share a picture of flowers that the reality star sent her, along with a thank you note.

Emily captioned the snap: "Thank you for the beautiful flowers and note @kimkardashian , it’s so important that we let women express their sexuality and share their bodies however they choose.

”‘Merely external emancipation has made of the modern woman an artificial being. Now, woman is confronted with the necessity of emancipating herself from emancipation, if she really desires to be free.’ Emma Goldman".

In the picture of Kim's note, "I wanted to thank you so much for your support," can be read at the start of it.

Whether you were for or against the naked snap, it's nice to see women sticking together.
