Etsy is a great place to buy unique clothes, jewellery and everything else you can think of, but it can also be a major minefield.

Here are a few of our favourite Irish Etsy stores to get you off to a good start.

1. Kawaii Candy Couture

For the Disney fanatic in your life, head to Kawaii Candy Couture on Etsy for a massive range of Disney necklaces, hair slides, brooches and bracelets. It’s not only Disney though – there are lots of ‘geek’-themed jewellery for the Harry Potter or Game of Thrones fan as well as much, much more.

2.Turquoise Flamingo

Formerly a great little vintage shop in Cork, the Etsy store is still very much alive. Head over to find great vintage dresses, belts, tops, bags – everything!

3. Rachillustrates

Rachillustrates is a great place on Etsy to get prints of your favourite celebrities or quotes, anything you like really! This Sherlock print caught our eye however, we love it!

4. Purity Belle

Pretty natural eco-friendly candles that come in a range of different styles. One of our favourites was the candle above in a vintage teacup – how cute! How great would these be as gifts?

5. Lost Forest Jewellery

Handmade eco-resin jewellery, this has to be one of the prettiest collection of jewellery we have ever seen, we want it all! Really unique and beautiful, these bracelets would definitely stand out; not to mention they’re Irish-made, yay!

Castlewood House in beautiful Dingle has been voted the best bargain hotel in the world. Yes, the world!

And that’s not all for the little B&B – they were also named No. 1 Best Small Hotel in Ireland.

The boutique hotel received the prestigious awards when TripAdvisor unveiled their 2014 Traveller Choice awards, as voted by travellers.

The pretty Co. Kerry hotel also ranked 70th in the world and second in Europe in the category of small hotel.

The bed and breakfast is Dingle’s newest boutique property and owners Helen and Brian Heaton boast that their hotel’s attention to detail sets the “standards where others follow.”

Obviously the owners were chuffed with the win.  Helen said: “It’s great for us and our whole team here. We put our heart and soul into the whole operation and when you get an accolade like that it is a great morale booster for everybody.”

She also believes that running a business is “very much a labour of love”. It’s obvious that the husband and wife love their hotel quite a lot.

It would seem Helen Flanagan is willing to overlook reports of her boyfriend Scott Sinclair sexting another woman back in the summer.

The actress and model posted a photo of herself and Scott sharing a kiss back at her 23rd birthday on Instagram.

The couple broke up back in June and Helen was said to be distraught, but is now much happier having forgiven and forgotten, “The time apart probably did us some good,” she said in Now magazine.

The couple have been together for over four years, so hopefully they can work things out.

Hmm, not sure the couple will appreciate you outing them, Piers! Oh well, too late now.

Piers Morgan has confirmed in his column for Event magazine that Sean came up to him at the Help Haiti Home Gala in L.A. and told him that Charlize is a “keeper”.

Sean and Charlize have been seen out and about a handful of times now and also took a holiday to Hawaii together. Charlize was previously in a relationship with Irish actor Stuart Townshend until 2010 after nine years together.

Since then, it seems the only man in her life has been her baby boy Jackson, so we hope she is very happy with Sean.

Kris Jenner posted this adorable photo on her Instagram account to announce their plans to launch a kids clothing line under the Kardashian brand name.

We think that might be little Penelope – keeping it in the family is the Kardashian way.

You can’t deny they dress their children well; Mason always looks dapper in moccasins and mini shirts like his Dad, while Penelope wears the cutest headband and Nori has the best designer gear just like her parents.

The Kardashian line of clothing is popular because people know that the girls themselves wear the clothes, so no doubt if they do the same for the children’s label, it will be just as successful.

Vanessa Hudgens has spoken about her weight gain for her role as Apple in new movie Gimme Shelter. Gaining over a stone to play the role, Vanessa described how she was uncomfortable with her figure.

Vanessa is often seen attending pilates classes and is known to enjoy reformer pilates.

The role as Apple had a profound effect on Vanessa as she described to The View how she fully immersed herself into the role, perhaps a bit too much, “All I saw in the mirror was this character … I didn’t feel comfortable in this body cause I gained all the weight”.

Italy not only has pizza, history and fantastic weather – it can now lay claim to having the best male lovers in the world.

In a recent global survey of more than 6,000 people, it was found that Italians were the most satisfied with their sex lives. The five other nations included in the poll were France, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Britain.

While the lucky people of Italy expect sex to last for at least ten minutes, the Scots have a different idea. Their expectations were a little lower than the Italian stallions – almost one in ten said they only expect it to last two minutes. We know where we’re not going on holiday anyway…

Unfortunately for the Brits they were found to be the least satisfied in bed.
