We’re not sure that when Rihanna invited Hollywood actor Brad Pitt to speak at  her very first Diamond Ball in aid of the Clara Lionel Foundation, that Rihanna would find herself at the end of a very public dissing. 

The actor took to the stage after being welcomed on by host Jimmy Kimmel and said: “Ah, Rihanna…I’ve often asked the very questions you yourself are asking right now – what the f*** went wrong?” Eek… Things didn’t stop there however, and Brad went on to blame Jay-Z for corrupting Rihanna: “[Rihanna] soon fell in with a bad crowd led by the dubious and nefarious character known as The Jay-Z. For those of you not in the know, The Jay-Z was an evil impresario known for turning out hit records and ripping insane lyrics and fresh beats … Needless to say, it was all downhill from there.”

Wow – while we’re sure Rihanna was in on this public roasting, we wonder if Jay-Z was?! If not, Brad may have some explaining to do! 

Brad finished up on a very sarcastic note (we’re hoping) and said: “Rihanna, put down that sandwhich, get off your a** and do something. God damn it just do something with your life.”

We’re sure the speech was all just banter between friend – but that said we’re not sure we would ever be thick-skinned enough to be dissed by Brad Pitt in a crowded room. Fair play, Rihanna!

It’s only been two months since Katie Waissel very publicly called X Factor judge Cheryl “disgusting” – so what was she doing on last night’s show?!

Fans of the show were left confused when the former contestant appeared, as she has previously said that she wishes she had not done the show: “If I could turn back time and not fill out that form, I would give every penny in my bank account to do so.” Ouch. 

Katie joined in on a production of (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life along with other former contestants such as Wagner, Chloe Jasmine and Stevi Ritchie. 

While Cheryl has been known to give shade where shade is rightly deserved, she surprisingly gave Katie and the group a standing ovation – we bet Katie had some grovelling to do before she took to the stage!

To make matters even more confusing, Katie is said to have mouthed something to Simon following the performance, which many on Twitter have speculated looked like ‘you owe me.’ She later tweeted a very mysterious: “Bye Bye London!! See y’all on the other side…. #seeyounextyear #confirmed #chair” swiftly prompting rumours that she may take a judges' seat next year…

We can’t help but find that very difficult to foresee, but time will tell!

Nicole Scherzinger’s boyfriend Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he is under major pressure to pop the question!

Thankfully for the Formula One driver, the pressure is coming from his own family members rather than from his on-off girlfriend of seven years, as he told E! News: “I’m certainly feeling pressure, heat from family members. But Nicole’s massively focused on her work the same as I am. We’re just happy the way we are.”

As much as we would LOVE to see a Scherzinger-Hamilton wedding, if they are happy the way they are then we’re sure they know which direction they would like their lives to go in. 

The couple have been dating since 2007, but split in 2010 before reuniting and ending things a further three times and getting back together last March. We reckon this time it’s for keeps – they are so cute together!

The former X Factor judge is currently taking on the lead role of Grizabella in Andrew Lloyd Webb's Cats in London's West End which will run until February 2015.

After this latest revelation, we are gearing up for what is sure to be a riveting piece of television.

While it may only be December, rumour has it that Celebrity Big Brother bosses have already decided upon their line-up for the next series – and it is a juicy one!

The big name being linked to the show is former glamour model Katie Price, but the big shock lies in the selection of housemates that have been tipped to join her.

Not only is her ex-husband Alex Reid expected to enter the house, but also Dwight Yorke – the father of Katie's eldest child, Harvey – and singer Gareth Gates, who enjoyed his first, er, fling with the star.

While Alex has previously starred in (and won) the reality show, bosses are keen to throw him back into the mix to see what kind of drama he can stir up.

Others tipped to enter the house are Calum Best, Daniella Westbrook and X Factor contestants Chloe Jasmine and Jake Quickenden.

If this line-up gets the green light, make no mistake – there will be fireworks!

If we weren’t already majorly jealous of Taylor’s Swift’s beauty, talent and fortune, the photos from her 25th birthday bash are sure to tip us over the edge.

Yes, while our birthdays usually consist of us binging on cake and wine with a few of our nearest and dearest, Taylor played host to music royalty for her big night.

The Shake It Off singer took to Instagram to share a photo of her party guests, and one glance is enough to show that she threw the coolest party in town last night.

As well as bestie Karlie Kloss; Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Sam Smith and girl band Haim were also in attendance at the Swift soiree.

Taylor apparently kicked off her birthday celebrations at the New York City Jingle Ball, before bringing the party – and a host of fancy guests – back to her apartment.

Love the tartan two-piece. Love her. Happy birthday, Taylor!

Just how you could forget about a conviction against you is beyond us, but that is apparently the cause of singer Keyshia Cole’s current court drama.

The singer is facing jail after police followed up on a DUI charge against her, only to discover that she never completed the alcohol education programme that formed part of her sentencing.

Authorities only made the realisation in September, after Keyshia was arrested for allegedly fighting with a woman at a condo in LA.

Upon Keyshia’s arrest, police discovered an outstanding warrant for the star, as a result of missing paperwork proving that she had served her sentence.

Now, Cole has found herself before the court once again over the incident, with her lawyer claiming that she did complete the sentence but just doesn’t have the documentation to prove it.

The Let It Go singer has been sentenced to 30 days jail, but the judge has agreed to let the sentence slide if she can produce the required documentation as proof.

There must be something in the water in Hollywood this week, as it has been revealed that yet another star couple has ended their romance.

According to reports, Glee star Dianna Agron and Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel have broken up after nine months together.

A source confirmed the news to Us Weekly this weekend, saying that the split occurred ‘a few weeks ago’, but didn’t share any further details on the reason behind the break-up.

Dianna and Thomas set tongues wagging back in April when they were spotted looking cosy at the Coachella Music Festival in California, and were apparently ‘getting very serious’ early on in their relationship.

While Thomas has previously dated actress Lily Collins, 28-year-old Dianna’s romantic back catalogue includes Alex Pettyfer and Dave Franco.

Given their track records, we don’t think either star will be short of a date for New Year’s Eve!

She’s not one to hold back when it comes to revealing the more sensitive details of her life, so we’re not a bit surprised by Miley Cyrus’ latest Instagram posts.

The star took to Instagram this weekend to share a series of (slightly disturbing) hospital selfies featuring a pretty nasty looking wound on her arm.

While the reason behind her hospital visit is unknown, it’s safe to say that Miley’s graphic postings have sufficiently freaked out her fans.

While we would almost (and we stress that word) get over the photo of her wearing her gown, we are quite baffled by her decision to post a close-up of her arm wound, with a photo of Justin Bieber photoshopped into it!

The photoshopping frolics didn’t stop there, though. She went on to give her beloved dog Floyd a spot in the photo too.

We’re freaked out, Miley, and so are your fans!

It’s been a difficult year for Khloe Kardashian after her break-up from estranged husband Lamar Odom, but it looks as though the drama isn’t over just yet.

The reality star’s family are said to be ‘furious’ with her for still not going ahead with her divorce from the basketball star, and are worried that she is still stalling in the hope of a reunion.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: “They’re furious with Khloe. To them, they see the writing on the wall. They feel Khloe should be done with him the minute she had the [divorce] papers in hand.”

“They see Khloe taking Lamar’s bait all over again and is clearly going into protection mode and falling for Lamar, and they’re urging her to stop before it’s too late,” the source added.

These latest comments come after rumours circulated hinting that the 30-year-old has been enjoying secret dates with Lamar.

An insider revealed that the pair “chill out late nights in various places off the grid”, but are keen to stay out of the public eye as they sort out their relationship.

We genuinely have no idea what’s going to happen with these two. Will it be happy ever after, after all?

Tulisa Contostavlos has made no secret of her desire to return to the X Factor fold, and it looks like she has just had her wish granted.

With poor Mel B forced out of tonight’s show due to a mystery illness, it has been revealed that former judge Tulisa has been lined up to fill in for her.

The news was announced earlier today through the show’s official Twitter account, with producers confirming: “Unfortunately Mel B is unwell and on doctor’s advice she will not be taking part in tonight’s show. Tonight Tulisa will join the panel as a Guest Judge.”

Now, we know that Simon Cowell has stated that he has no plans to change this year’s “dream team” panel, but we have a feeling Tulisa will be pulling out all the stops to impress in the hope of making a more permanent return.

Missing your flight is probably one of the most frustrating things ever, but we can honestly say that we have never resorted to these desperate measures.

Music star Jeremih has reportedly been jailed for trying to illegally board a flight after it had closed.

According to reports, the 27-year-old was late catching his flight from New Jersey to Phoenix yesterday, and decided to call in a rather inappropriate favour from his bodyguard Dontate Cunningham, who was already on board the flight.

The Wanna Get Up singer is said to have contacted Cunningham to come to his aid, with the bodyguard managing to force open the closed jet way door in a bid to get Jeremih and another buddy on the plane.

If they thought airport authorities took kindly to passengers coming and going at will like that, they were sorely mistaken!

The star, real name Jeremih Felton, was apprehended by police immediately and has been charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of the law.

His friend has been charged on the same count, while bodyguard Cunningham was arrested and charged with defiant trespass.

Perhaps they should just take the ferry the next time!

She is renowned for her amazing dancing skills, so there are major fears for the future of Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan’s career after this latest news.

According to reports, the dancer has suffered a ‘potentially career-changing’ injury sustained during her training preparations for Channel 4’s ski-themed reality show The Jump.

Sources told The Sun that the 32-year-old fell during training at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, with her subsequent injuries now ruling her out of participating in the competition.

“It was a freak accident and nobody’s fault, but she fell heavily and the injuries are very serious,” said the source, adding, “She definitely will not be taking part in this weekend’s Strictly dances, nor The Jump in January.”

In a devastating admission, the source revealed: “The injuries could leave her unable to dance at the same level ever again. She’s in a bad way.”

What awful news for poor Ola. We wish her a full and speedy recovery.
