After pint-sized pop star Kylie Minogue last week announced she was leaving The Voice UK after only one series, fellow judge will.i.am is said to be following suit.

The Black Eyed Peas star, who has spent three years on the show, has reportedly decided to leave to focus on his own music career.

The TV talent show has already been commissioned for two more series, but bosses are worried that coaches Tom Jones and newcomer Ricky Wilson will also call it a day.

Justin Timberlake is said to have been discussed as a potential replacement for will.i.am as he’s a huge fan of the show, but bosses have their work cut out for them if they’re to snag the mega star.

Well, The Voice judge has collaborated with a lot of big names, from Cheryl Cole to Britney Spears. But, now Will.i.am apparently wants to record a duet with none other, than Anne Hathaway.

Yes, you read that right. Apparently, the former Black Eyed Peas singer was “blown away” by her singing performance in the film, Rio.

Will was speaking of Anne’s performance in the film with Ryan Seacrest and openly invited the Oscar winning actress, to record a duet with him.

“I want to make music with you. From Rio 1, I was like, ‘She sings like that?!’ … It would be so amazing to do music outside of an animated film. That would be freaking dope.”

Both Hathaway and Will.i.am starred and sang in the children’s flick, Rio and the sequel Rio 2.

Anne of course heard about Will’s invitation, but believes the singer would change his mind, once he hears her in studio.

“I am blushing so hard right now. The thing is, he’s going to get me in the studio and then he’s going to hear me for real, and he’s going to be like, ‘Oh, never mind.’ He works with Fergie! That’s like his 9am meeting. I can’t beat that!”

We aren’t going to lie, we would love a collaboration between these two. Just to see, what they would come up with.

The Voice judge will.i.am has come under fire by the BBC for plugging his smartphone watch live on air.

The Black Eyed Peas frontman could be in line for a slap on the wrist from The Voice producers after he used the accessory during the show’s final on Saturday night.

The musician used the gadget to take a phone call from his pal Cheryl Cole, despite the channel’s strict advertising and product placement ban.

Cheryl had called him to praise his winning act Jermain Jackman for his rendition of Miley Cyrus hit Wrecking Ball.

This isn’t the first time the star has landed himself in hot water as he was previously banned from wearing a jacket embroidered with the words Go Hard Or Go Home, after he was accused of using the slogan to plug his 2011 single T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever).

will.i.am spoke of his latest gadget when wearing his smartphone watch during a recent appearance on Alan Carr: Chatty Man.

He said, “It takes my heartbeat, my calorie burn, you can make purchases from it. I started the company and funded it and used my own money to develop it.”

Before the voting lines opened up, Jermain’s coach Will.i.am got a call from his pal Cheryl Cole, who pledged her support to the singer.

Cheryl later took to Twitter to congratulate both Jermain and Will.i.am saying, “Yes Jermain!!! Congrats @iamwill love ya #Dopesh** p.s call me.”

The Black Eyed Peas front man got a bit emotional when Jermain was crowned the winner saying, “I hope you know this victory is more than just you singing. This is direction and guidance for the rest of your life.”

The Voice judge has revealed that it took her a long time to get over her relationship with Spanish model, Andres Velencosco.

Kylie and Andres broke-up last October after a five year relationship and says she is still coming to turns with her heartbreak.

“It’s not that long ago. I’m past the crying every night stage…”

Kylie’s spilt from her boyfriend was not long after the 45-year-old singer decided to change her management team and sign up for the UK version of the talent show, The Voice.

“I had a true epiphany. I have only had this one and I remember it as if it were slow motion. I guess there were thoughts and moments building up to this but I had a vision and the vision was a horizon with nothing on it.”

Kylie also went onto talk that the break-up was not easy and there was a lot to process legally.

“….but you know there’s still heartbreak and emotional sadness and all of the things that come with bad break-ups, even if you’re not married. It does hurt, but I guess you have resilience because it’s not the first time you’ve been down that road.”

But The Voice judge revealed that she is still on good terms with Andres but her new album is keeping her distracted from the heartache.

“He’s a great guy and that’s important… I’m enjoying that I’m so distracted. I’m not sitting at home pining.”

Will.i.am doesn’t strike us as the emotional type, but in this sneak peek for The Voice he is moved to tears by a woman who reminds him of his aunt.

Kylie is seen looking concerned as Will cries while the singer then tells them that her own mother passed away two weeks previously. An emotionally charged sneak peek, that’s for sure!

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby may have put herself on the wrong side of Kylie Minogue after expressing her opinion on the latest season of The Voice. If it ends in the ring, we know who we’d place our bets on…

Even though the primetime show has been topping ratings, the former The Voice presenter said she doesn’t think that this year’s new judges, Kylie Minogue and Ricky Wilson, have helped with the ratings.

She said: “Have there been any improvements? I wouldn’t say, “The show is so much better this year” at all”.

To add insult to injury, the ITV sweetheart said that she would rather have Jessie J as a mentor than Kylie. She said: “If you’re comparing the coaches, Jessie J was so strong in her critique musically that the singers could really learn something from her…”

She added: “If I was on the show, Jessie would probably be the only person who had a hope in helping me to sing.”
