The dancer announced her pregnancy in August.

It is the Strictly semi-finals and this week, the pressure is on the five remaining couples.

And Joe Sugg, after having strong weeks and high scores, came crashing down during the show when both of his dances failed to get the level of praise from the judges that the YouTube star has grown used to.

The 27-year-old took to the dance floor with his pro dance partner Dianne Buswell to do two dances – a Viennese Waltz and an Argentine Tango.

He received a score of 29 for his first dance, which put him at the bottom of the leader board.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood said, "Way too much rise and fall, it almost became a waltz.''

He continued, ''All the movement I thought was too harsh and it made it look rigid. I don't think its your best ballroom to be honest.''

Fans were not happy with this critique and insisted that he was under marked while others were not as heavily penalised.

Others suggested that the way the judges scored the dances was a fix.

One wrote, ''Joe did better than Lauren and Ashley but gets Scored Lower …. I think it might be rigged #strictly."

While another said, ''So far I feel everyone tonight has been way over marked, except Joe who’s defiantly been under marked. #Strictly.''

The Results Show is on BBC One tonight at 7:15pm.

This years Strictly Come Dancing is full of swirling romance rumours – from Joe and Dianne to Lauren and AJ.

And now, there have been whispers about Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and pro dancer/total ride Giovanni Pernice.

Ashley, who is partnered with pro dancer Pasha Kovalev has commented on the alleged relationship.

She appeared on This Morning alongside Pasha when host Philip Schofield started asking questions.

The 37-year-old dismissed the rumours by insisting that she is ''single.''

She said, ''Giovanni and I are friends. Listen, I'm really, really focussed on the show. I'm really, really passionate about being here."

She continued, "It's about the dance for me, so…no, we are just friends."

Hmmmm.

Italian pro dancer Giovanni Pernice, who is dancing with former Steps star Faye Tozer, also spoke out about their potential relationship.

He was unimpressed, saying, "According to the press I change girlfriend every single day."

He continued, ''We are really good friends. She's a lovely person, but I'm single. I'm in Newcastle every single day, so there's no chance for me."

The pair first fuelled rumours when they went out for drinks together earlier this month.

However, Ashley did say that dating wasn't at the top of her list right now.

She said, "I'm so focused on the show right now. What happens after that, I don't know. The right guy will come along at the right time, I believe that."

Strictly continues this Saturday on BBC One at 6:50pm.

Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood is not famed for his tactful comments so it comes as no surprises to us that on Saturday's show he didn't mince his critique of contestant Lauren Steadman.

Along with her pro dance partner, AJ Pritchard, the pair performed the Argentine Tango and Craig was not impressed.

He said that he, ''felt you were getting stuck with each step. I felt like you were shortening all of your lines! It made it stompy, sadly…I think in another three weeks, darling, you'll get it."

Lauren was more nervous for that than the World Championships  #Strictly

He awarded them a low score of 5, with his fellow judges opting to give lower marks than the couple usually get.

Darcey Bussell gave  them a 6, Shirley Ballas a 7 and Bruno Tonioli a 7.

However, fans are furious at this and have slammed Craig for undermarking the couple.

Upstairs in the Claudiatorium after the judges critique, Claudia said, ''What? Who? It was intimate, it was amazing.''

Lauren replied, “It was pretty intense this week,” while AJ added, “It was a very complex routine this week and you did it fantastically.''

Fans took to Twitter afterwards to blast the judges, Craig especially.

Another said,"Lauren and AJ were so undermarked for that Argentine tango!!!"

Another added, "Don't care if their dance wasn't as good this week, I'm still voting for Lauren and AJ because I love them.''

What do you think, fair comments or scores too low?

We think she was unreal tbh and incorporating her disability into each routine isn't easy.

Tune in to see the Results show on BBC One tonight at 7:20pm to see if she escapes the dreaded dance-off – fingers crossed.

It's Strictly season again and last night gave us our first look at the 2018 couples.

Among them was Kate Silverton, the energetic BBC newsreader who scooped the fab Aljaz as her partner.

She may be getting ready to dive into the most glittery experience of her life, but Kate has had to deal with a few unpleasant comments as a result.

The 48-year-old has had online trolls accuse her of ditching her children to appear on the dance program.

Kate is mum to two kids – six-year-old Clemency and four-year-old Wilbur – with husband Mike Heron.

Kate told Hello! at the Strictly press launch reason why she had put off appearing on the show – and it has to do with motherhood.

''The reason why I have never done Strictly before is because I have two children. My kids are too young, now they are four and nearly seven – I just thought now it would be a good time to take part,'' she said.

However, she was forced to reply to nasty comments on Twitter about hw she planned to juggle Strictly and her kids.

The outraged broadcaster tweeted, "Mr 'anonymous' I take my time with my children very seriously – my children will both be at school when I am training – it's the reason I have agreed to do #Strictly this year. I agree mothering is the most important job – but I would never seek to preach."

The sequins are calling… not long now !! #bbcstrictly

Kate will be more than able to juggle her home life and the show – and she has explained how everything is all starting to blend together.

''My husband also works away a lot, so we are 'juggling juggling' the situation a lot between us. But the nice thing is, I took Wil to a photo shoot, which is hilarious – so I had to get Graziano [Di Prima] to babysit. They were wrestling on the floor at one point."

"So you know, I can get the children involved which is great,'' she added.

Good luck Kate and ignore those haters – we can't wait to see those dance moves on Saturday night!
