Let's be honest, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner give a whole new meaning to the term 'work-wives'.

The two actresses, who star alongside each other in Game of Thrones, are questioned as regularly about their friendship as they are their characters' arc, so it's no real surprise that Instagram has been only dying to see how Maisie would celebrate Sophie's recent engagement to Joe Jonas.

And she didn't disappoint.

Paying tribute to her BFF yesterday, Maisie uploaded a photo of Sophie's engagement ring, and with a nod to the future told Sophie it was just one of the many big moments they'll share together.

"Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend on her engagement,"  she began in a post which has racked up almost one million likes so far.

"This is just one of MANY life milestones we'll share. Love you both," she added.

The 20-year-old actress has been inundated with messages from her fans, who can't get enough of the bond she shares with the actress who plays Sansa Stark.

"You are so adorable, best friendship ever," wrote one while another added: "Their friendship gives me life!"

But the greatest comment came from someone who is on the exact same page as us here at SHEmazing HQ and asked: "You gonna walk her down the aisle?"

Maisie, it's over to you.

If you're looking for a distraction from all the Hurricane Ophelia content currently doing the rounds on social media, can we ask you to direct your attention towards the Instagram accounts of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner?

The couple, who first began dating in 2016, have tonight announced their engagement, and it has sent Instagram into an absolute tailspin.

Uploading a shot of the engagement ring, 21-year-old Sophie, who plays Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, simply wrote: "I said yes" while Joe uploaded the same shot, writing: "She said yes."

I said yes.

The couple, who have amassed more than 1.5 million likes in mere hours, have been inundated with messages of support and congratulations.

Paying tribute to the couple on Twitter, Joe's younger brother, Nick, wrote: "Ahh! Congratulations to my brother… and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much."

However, not everyone is as pleased for the couple as they might like, with some die-hard Joe Jonas fans lamenting the announcement, with one writing: "Worst day ever."

"I can't believe it. My heart is broken but also I'm very happy for you Joe. You are very important for me," added another.

Guys, a little perspective here?!

They've played famous sisters Arya and Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones for years and now it looks like we're going to finally see some of their singing talents.

Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams have announced that they are set to appear on Carpool Karaoke, and we're already dying for their episode.

The girls will be gearing up to go behind the wheel to take part in the new series-length version of Carpool Karaoke on Apple Music.

Sophie and Maisie took to Twitter yesterday to tell their fans of the great news, but couldn't help adding a few puns into the tweet.

They captioned the video, "STARKpool Karaoke? Lane of Thrones?"

Since most of the season is already filmed it might be a few months until we get to see the ladies in action.

We've been so caught up with Sophie Turner and her new babe Joe Jonas that we totally missed this little beauty of a tweet she sent out last week.

One Trump supporter tweeted a picture of Donald and Melania, and asked "Name a better duo? I'll wait."

The Game of Thrones star saw the tweet and was quick to fire back, tweeting this pretty brutal photo:

And the Internet was SOLD:

Even the original tweeter was ALL about it:

Sophie then followed it up with this tweet, as a reminder of where she stands:

Ah, good aul Bono.

It's safe to say that he's one of the most well-known faces in the world, but we suppose when you meet someone as famous as him, all sense goes out the window.

That's what happened to Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams when she was at a recent U2 concert.

Maisie was speaking on BBC Radio One when she recalled the awkward moment. The actress was backstage at the gig, when Bono came around the corner and asked her "what's your name?"

"I said I'm Maisie and I went to say 'what's your name', which you just can't say to Bono.

"He was like 'I'm Bono'. And I just sat there very very quietly.

She continued the story and said her BFF and GOT co-star Sophie Turner then turned to her and said, "you just asked Bono what his name is. At a U2 concert'. It was awful."

Cringe.

Less than a month after revealing how he lost his virginity on Reddit, Joe Jonas has been spotted getting cosy with actress Sophie Turner.

The famous pair were snapped cuddling at a Kings of Leon concert in Rotterdam this weekend, with sources saying the singer could been seen kissing the Game of Thrones star.

An insider told Us Weekly: “Joe and Sophie arrived together before the show started.  He had his arm around her as they walked in, and then he was holding her before the show.”

“Joe and Sophie kissed a few times and were talking and drinking soda,” she added.

“When the lights went down and Kings of Leon started they were dancing together and singing along.  Joe would kiss her cheek as they danced next to each other.”

“They left together just after the last song and looked very cute.  They seemed like a couple and appeared very into each other.”

The 27-year-old former Disney star and the 20-year-old X-Men actress also spent Halloween together.

They were tagged in a mutual friend’s Instagram post celebrating the October holiday.

While it is still very early days, we think this could be one to watch.

Well, hold the phone because two of our favourite ladies just got tattoos in Northern Ireland.

The babes headed to Belfast to be inked by tattoo artist Kat Paine, who said both of the girls are "dead-on."

Kat took to Facebook to share a fab pic of them in her studio. She captioned the snap: "Got to tattoo these gorgeous girlies today Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner from Game of Thrones."

Neither of the women have shared their matching tattoos yet, but Maisie took to Instagram yesterday to post a picture of the pair along with the caption: "07.08.09."

So you're sitting down to dinner, you turn around, and Ryan Gosling's at the table behind you.

That's exactly what happened to Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner over the weekend – except we should mention at this point that she was at the SAG Awards, so it's not quite as unusual as spotting Mr. Gosling in your local Supermac's.

But Sophie is a bit of a Gosling fangirl and so she couldn't let this prime opportunity for a selfie go without acting on it.

How to get the photo you NEED without looking like a total crazed lunatic in front of Ryan Gosling? Take the snap without him noticing, obviously:

"Sorry boys. I'm off the market," Sophie wrote next to the ecstatic shot of her posing in front of an oblivious Ryan.

We love it.

Of course, Sophie's probably been the subject of a fair few fangirl/fanboy moments herself, considering she stars on one of the most popular TV shows of the last decade.

The actress was at the SAGs with her Game Of Thrones crew, and the show picked up an award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series.

A good hustle all round.

Game of Thrones fans you can rest a little bit easier with this news.

Contrary to the rumours that began circulating not too long ago, fan-favourite (dare we say it: possible Queen in the North) Sophie Turner is not going anywhere.

The actress, who plays Sansa Stark was reportedly being poached from the HBO series to star in Outlander.

The time-travel fantasy romance is a huge hit with fans across the pond and many were speculating she would abandon Westeros in favour of series adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s books.

EW caught up with the actress to settle the rumours once and for all, and many avid TV fans were getting nervous at her silence on the matter.

“Somebody mentioned [the role] to me when I was on a red carpet somewhere, that I’d make a great Brianna, and I think the guy Sam retweeted it or something,” she explained.

“So people started talking like I was in it. I’ve never seen the show. I’m sure it’s great, but I’m loyal to my one true love!”

Phew!

Contractually, series regular actors (such as Sophie) are simply not allowed to take a job that could possibly undermine the series to which they are already attached. So it would have been a slim possibility of Sophie leaving GoT

However, as everyone who loves the series knows, the powers that be at HBO like to keep fans on edge when it comes to which characters will be coming back- ahem, looking at you Jon Snow.

Meanwhile, there has been one GoT actor lined up for a role on Outlander

Clive Russell will be joining the cast for the second series according to the Outlander Facebook page.  He appeared on Season 3 of GoT as Brynden ‘The Blackfish’ Tully. Interestingly, his GoT character is actually related to a current Outlander series regular.

Tobias Menzies (Edmure Tully, also suspiciously absent since Season 3) currently stars in the series and it looks like two will be sharing the screen again.

There is hugely exciting news for Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner this morning! It has been announced that the talented young star will take on the role of Jean Grey in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.

Director Bryan Singer announced the news on Twitter last night, along with revealing that Alex Shipp would take on the role of Storm and Tye Sheridan is to be the new Cyclops: “Meet our new and brilliant young mutants: @Alexshipppp as #Storm @SophieT as #JeanGrey and @TyeSheridan as #Cyclops #XmenApocalypse.”

The role of Jean Grey has been played by Famke Janssen since 2000.

This is no doubt that this is only the beginning for Sophie, who has portrayed Sansa Stark in the hit HBO show since 2011. Obviously over the moon about her new gig, Sophie tweeted shortly after the revelation: "OMG."

We're delighted for her – congratulations Sophie!

E! have been a left somewhat red-faced after they mixed up Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner with another actress at last night’s Golden Globe Awards.

Sophie, who plays Sansa in the hit HBO show, took to Twitter to address the mix up, hilariously writing: “#TransformationTuesday But alas it’s not a Tuesday. Nor is that me. @eonline I thought we were tight.”

Sophie was confused for a fellow actress named Shelby Steel who has similar auburn coloured hair and fair skin – though we’re not sure we would confuse them!

E! have refrained from commenting on the mix-up yet, but we have to say that Sophie's reaction was pretty epic!
