Friends star ordered to pay former manager $1.6 million

Not only does Friends star Lisa Kudrow have to deal with handing over $1.6million in residuals, she also has to see her former manager splash his victory all over social media.

Scott Howard, Lisa’s ex-manager began proceedings against the actress in 2008 and today a Santa Monica court acted in his favour and awarded him $1.6million.

Scott claimed that he had an oral agreement with Lisa that he would earn a percentage of her earnings.

Despite already paying him $11million she was ordered to give him more as the cast of Friends were reported to be earning up to $1million per episode towards the end of the series.

Scott posted a photo of himself and his children on social media today with a cake that read “Congrats Dad!”

Jada Pinkett Smith to star as “sadistic gangster boss” in Gotham

We love the sound of this new TV show, Gotham.

Set to be a prequel to the Batman days it will star Ben McKenzie (Ryan from The O.C.) and Jada Pinkett Smith as Fishy Mooney.

The young Bruce Wayne is yet to be announced but we hope it’s someone good. We even have a few suggestions if they’d listen…

Jada is set to star as a gangster boss who is described as “imposing, hotheaded and notoriously sadistic”. We can’t wait!

There should definitely be more roles like this for women. We think Jada is going to kill it.

Melissa Joan Hart has admitted to using drugs in the past during an interview with Giulina Rancic for E!

When asked by Giuliana about her good girl image on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Melissa explains: “It wasn’t that I wasn’t a bad girl. It’s that I never got caught.”

She also admitted to using a range of drugs from marijuana to ecstasy: “I experimented with weed, ecstasy, mushroom and mescaline for about a year and half.”

We are glad that her drug-use is behind her and that she came through her wild days intact!

Benedict Cumberbatch was afraid Sherlock would be “cheap and cheesy”

Everybody’s favourite detective show, Sherlock, might have had a different leading man.

During a new event hosted by BAFTA, which allows actors to speak at length about their careers, Benedict Cumberbatch opened up about his role as Sherlock Holmes.

Speaking about his thoughts before reading the script, the actor said: “I heard about it and thought that sounds like an idea to reinfranchise something to make money. It could be a bit cheap and cheesy.”

However, upon reading the script and hearing who was involved, he swiftly changed his mind: “Then I found out who was involved and I realised it wouldn’t be cheap and cheesy … I thought I would read it and then I fell in love with it.”

We are so, so glad you didn’t pass up the opportunity, Benedict; can you imagine anyone else as Sherlock? We can’t!

How I Met Your Dad is happening!

It’s official! A spin-off to How I Met Your Mother will be hitting a TV screen near you soon.

Indie film starlet, Greta Gerwig is set to star as Sally, a character described by producers as: “a female Peter Pan who has never grown up and has no idea where she’s going in life.”

The actress will also produce and co-write the show, which apparently will have a style more similar to HBO’s Girls than How I Met Your Mother.

It is thought Sally will play a character similar to Ted Mosby, explaining to her kids how she met their father. However she will also be going through a divorce from a year long marriage at the time.

All we want to know is who is going to play the Barney character!
