How Monaco got its bite back
Monaco immediately conjures up glamorous images of expat millionaires, Grace Kelly, mega-yachts, casinos, and the most expensive property in the world.
And the principality is also undoubtedly synonymous with Formula 1: an annual race has been held on its streets since 1929.
But with the sport being lately accused of becoming stagnant and unappealing to younger fans, even Monaco seemed to have lost its golden touch in recent years.
Not so yesterday: as the race – which was eventually won by Nico Rosberg – kicked-off, a gaggle of beautiful teens and 20-somethings watched with intent from the VIP areas.
Among them was Kendall Jenner, 19, and her 17-year-old sister, Kylie. Gigi Hadid, 20, and her sister Bella, 18, accompanied them, as did Hailey Baldwin, also 18, and 24-year-old Shanina Shaik.
