A wine bar in a hospital, sure what could go wrong?

A hospital in France is opening a wine bar for terminally ill patients in a bid to make their lives better.

The bar will offer “medically supervised” wine tasting to patients and their families. Dr. Virginie Guastella who proposed the idea, said it could help both patients and families to relax:

“A situation can be palliative for several weeks or even several months and it’s because life is so precious and real until the end that we decided to cultivate all that is fine and good.

“It’s a way of rethinking the care of others, taking into account their feelings and emotions that make them a human being.”

We love this idea, which relates to a study that found that wine and food and can have a positive impact on someone’s last days.

We’re not quite sure they could get away with something like this in Ireland though!

Scott Disick has become a celebrity in his own right from starring in Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

That’s why, following his hospitalisation on June 22, fans of the show were left worried as to his well-being.

More details are now emerging of the days leading up to his illness, with sources saying he was “partying really hard” in the week before he got sick.

While celebrating his 31^st birthday party at a house in the Hampton on the 22^nd, Disick had to be rushed to hospital after drinking too much.

News of this may not come as a surprise to those who watch KUWTK as this is not the first time alcohol has gotten Scott in trouble.

Apparently, the star has now realised the error of his ways and will no doubt be cutting back on his partying and drinking.

Scott is currently expecting his third child with partner, Kourtney Kardashian.

Scott Disick gets a wake-up call after being rushed to A&E

Kourtney Kardashian’s other half was rushed to hospital on June 22^nd after a night of heavy drinking. He thought he’d been drugged but when they ran tests and found no drugs in his system, he was diagnosed with alcohol poisoning.

The 31-year-old, who is expecting his third child with Kourtney, has been in the bad books recently over his partying ways, and after this frightening experience, he is said to want to turn over a new leaf.

A source said that Scott is now receiving counselling and hasn’t had a drink since the incident.

We really hope this is a turning point for Scott, especially with another baby on the way.

Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing has ended up in hospital following a nasty spider bite!

Jamie tweeted earlier: “I got bitten by a spider and it hurts!!! I hate spiders.”

The star is currently in NYC where the show is being filmed at the moment, along with the rest of the gang.

It must have been a nasty spider to land him in hospital! On the upside, Jamie seems to love the hospital wristbands, tweeting a standard hospital photo along with the caption and adorable hashtag: “However I like the wristbands they give you in hospital #ihatespiders.”

30 Rock actor in critical condition after car crash

A six-car collision has left actor Tracy Morgan in critical condition, according to breaking reports.

The former Saturday Night Live cast member and 30 Rock star was reportedly riding in a limo bus when the collision occurred.

The collision is also believed to have involved two tractor-trailers and an SUV.

One person was killed and four others hospitalised with injuries, authorities have said.

Miley doesn’t look too excited about her recent trip to Dublin!

The singer uploaded a very tearful selfie to her Instagram account with the caption: “#saddaysindublin #sadselfies.”

The photo comes following a very poignant piece the singer wrote where she described the pain she is suffering following the death of her dog, Floyd.

Miley wrote: “A mother’s greatest responsibility is to keep their baby from anyone hurting them physically or emotionally. I was Floyd’s mommy. I don’t know when the regret or guilt will fade.”

Poor Miley, it’s never easy to lose a pet, hopefully her Dublin audience can cheer her up a bit!

Actress Sharon Stone was reportedly rushed to hospital during a recent trip to Brazil.

The 53 year-old was hosting an AIDS research benefit gala when she fell ill.

There is much speculation surrounding the circumstances of why the actress was taken to hospital but there are reports it may have been a stroke.

Thankfully, following two days in a hospital in Brazil, the actress was feeling better and even managed to attend an event this week.

Miley Cyrus could be in hospital for several weeks after her health has gone from bad to worse.

The 21-year-old Wrecking Ball star was hospitalised in Missouri on Tuesday after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics for a sinus infection.

Miley has reportedly been told by doctors that she’ll have to stay in hospital for weeks to come, as her sinus infection continues to get worse.

An allergic reaction can also take up to 27 days to reverse and it is unknown exactly when Miley will be released from hospital.

She has had to cancel three concert dates on her Bangerz Tour this month due to illness and it appears likely she’ll have to strike a few more shows from the schedule.

Kris Jenner was yesterday rushed to hospital with her ex-husband Bruce by her side.

The ‘Momager’ was admitted to Thousand Oaks hospital near her L.A home and had to have a scan and tests after suffering the health scare.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star was said to be having “internal pains” for several hours before being admitted to hospital.

Doctors reportedly decided it was necessary for Kris to get a scan for precautionary reasons but the mum-of-six has yet to comment on the medical matter.

Olympic gold medallist Bruce, 64, was said to have rushed over from his Malibu home to be by his ex-wife’s side and the pair were spotted arriving at the emergency room together.

Kris and Bruce recently split after 22 years of marriage, but it seems like the pair are closer than ever, after they were spotted holding hands at the airport following a family holiday to Thailand last month.

Pop star rushed to hospital after severe allergic reaction

Miley Cyrus was hospitalised yesterday after suffering ‘a severe allergic reaction’ to medication.

A spokeswoman for the singer said the 21-year-old had cancelled her Bangerz concert in Kansas City, Missouri after having a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.

Publicist Meghan Prophet said in a statement that Cyrus is on “medical rest” at her doctors’ advice.

Miley said on Twitter that she was heartbroken to miss the show.

“Kansas I promise Im as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with yall makes me feel s**ttier than I already do,” she said.

The pop star later added that she was being well looked after at the hospital.

“Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs are taking good care of me,” she tweeted along with a selfie from the hospital.

Soap star rushed to hospital after choking on pizza

EastEnders’ star Samantha Womack was rushed to hospital after choking on a slice of pizza.

The 41-year-old actress, who plays Ronnie Mitchell in the BBC1 soap, was dining out with her family when a piece of pizza crust lodged in her throat leaving her gasping for air.

The soap star was left struggling for breath and family and staff rallied around her to help.

The actress was dashed to hospital as the piece of food was still not completely dislodged from her throat.

Apparently once doctors had removed the food, they put a camera down her throat to ensure the airway was fully clear.

The actress is said to have been pretty embarrassed by the incident and is recovering at home.

Samantha’s character made a dramatic return to Albert Square late last year after seeing out a two-year prison sentence for kidnapping a baby.
