With the arrival of the Trumpkin, it’s become increasingly obvious that pumpkins are one of the world’s most versatile fruits.
They can portray political agendas, act as fillers for pies or simply decorate people’s porches.
But did you know the humble pumpkin can also be used to produce music?
Having previously used wine glasses, frying pans and rubber bands as instruments, software engineer Dan Ndombe headed to a pumpkin patch to source some seasonal inspiration for his latest online music video.
Having selected pumpkins of various shapes and sizes, the Arkansas based YouTuber cut into the Halloween treats, filled them with water and proceeded to use them as drums to create one of the most unique renditions of the Ghostbusters theme tune the Internet has ever heard.

Having been one of the most talked about web series of the year, there’s bound to be more than a few Stranger Things costumes this Halloween.
Already actress Amy Schumer has set high expectations for such attire as she and boyfriend Ben Hanisch have teamed up to channel two of the show’s most beloved characters.
Last night, the 35-year-old New Yorker took to Instagram to share a series of images in which she is dressed as Stranger Things’ Dustin while her boo pulls off his best Eleven.
Equipped with backpacks, bikes and epic captions, it’s safe to say Amy and Ben are #HalloweenGoals.
Airbnb is well known for its quirky residential offerings, but this Halloween the famed homestay network is running one seriously scary competition.
The site has announced that a stay at Bran Castle in Romania – aka Dracula’s Castle – will be up for grabs for the night of October 31.
Two brave individuals will be able to call the misty mountain-top manor home thanks to host Dacre Stoker – that’s Bram Stoker’s great grandnephew – who will guide his guests through “lamp-lit corridors, creepy nooks, and squeaky staircases”.
The medieval fortress boasts 57 rooms, tower lookouts and “deep dark crypts” which can be explored before the sun sets.
Once darkness falls, Transylvanian castle-life hits peak creepiness with “unexpected guests” appearing, a “blood-enriching” Dracula inspired meal being served, and beds being offered in the form of velvet-trimmed coffins in the Count’s crypt.
To enter the competition, thrill-seekers are asked to show their “vampiric wit” in response to the following question: “What would you say to the Count if you were to come face-to-fang with him in his own castle?”
The winners will be flown to Transylvania courtesy of Airbnb and will stay at the castle free of charge.
