The news industry and sports world is in mourning today following the death of ESPN sportscaster and anchor Stuart Scott.

49-year-old Stuart, who passed away this morning after a seven year battle with cancer, was a much-loved host on ESPN and his colleague Hannah Storm struggled to hold back tears when announcing the passing of her co-worker today.

Calling him an ‘inspiration’, Hannah recalled Stuart’s approach to both life and cancer and there was little doubt that Stuart’s co-worker was genuinely touched by her late colleague’s bravery in the face of such a frightening illness.

Stuart hosted SportsCentre and during his 21 years with ESPN became a much-loved and very popular member of the team. The father-of-two was credited with helping define the network’s style and quickly became known for his catchphrases and quirky sayings.

ESPN president John Skipper commented on Stuart’s untimely demise, saying: “ESPN and everyone in the sports world have lost a true friend and a uniquely inspirational figure in Stuart Scott. He leaves a void that can never be replaced.”

Our thoughts are with Stuart’s family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.

The 28-year-old model flaunted her stunning pregnancy bod and all its perks in a recent snap she uploaded to Instagram and if we had her curves, we’d do the same!

Clearly proud of her amazing cleavage, the stunning Abbey captioned the shot: “Love this Lisa Marie Fernandez bikini especially with my pregnancy boobs.”

The model spent the holiday season in Dubai with her husband, footballer Peter Crouch, whom she married in 2011, and their four-year-old daughter Sophia Ruby which gave the beautiful Strictly Come Dancing winner more than enough opportunity to strut her stuff on the sand.

Abbey and Peter only announced their big news just before Christmas, saying: “Super excited to announce Pete and I are expecting our second baby! We couldn’t be happier!”

Well, Lea Michele certainly knows how to make a splash on Instagram!

The talented 28-year-old Glee star made us all green with envy by posting a photo of herself in what can only be described as paradise wearing literally next to nothing and looking pretty amazing!

Lea, who went through an extremely difficult time in 2013 following the death of her boyfriend and co-star Corey Monteith, has thankfully found love again with new beau, Matthew Paetz.

The pair, who began dating last summer, rang in the New Year together in this breathtaking Mexican destination. Jealous, us?!

The star, who truly deserved to find happiness in the aftermath of Corey’s death, met 29-year-old Matthew on the set of her music video, On My Way last year and their relationship is said to have had a very positive effect on Lea’s life.

Sources close to the star have said: “She’s glowing and healthy ever since being with Matt. He takes care of her and people are glad to see her happy again. He’s just what she needed!”

The talented performer captioned the sultry shot: “Let’s do this 2015!”

Buckingham Palace is currently dealing with a huge amount of press attention in light of shocking allegations made against Prince Andrew, Duke of York.

Will and Harry’s uncle, who was once married to the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson and shares two daughters with her, has been accused of having sex with an underage girl.

Virginia Roberts has come forward with claims that she was forced to have sexual relations with Prince Andrew in the late 1990’s. The reports initially surfaced in 2007, but the story has come to light again in recent days.

The 54-year-old royal will be flying home from a skiing trip in Switzerland today to plead his innocence to his mother, the Queen.

A spokesman for the accused has said: “It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”

Virginia claims she was used as a sex slave by both the royal and other men and it seems her father is determined to get justice for his daughter, saying: “I don’t care if he is prince or pauper. If what Virginia said is true he has to pay the consequences.”

The lovely Alison Pill, best known for her roles in Milk and The Newsroom took to Instagram at the weekend to share some very exciting news with us.

The clearly ecstatic 29-year-old actress posted a ridiculously cute snap of herself, her boyfriend Joshua Leonard and one seriously blingin’ rock on her left hand!

Captioning the engagement shot: “Let’s do this, 2015!!!! @thejoshualeonard”, the outdoorsy couple looked like they’d happily marry then and there and who could blame them?!

Joshua recently called Alison, who plays Maggie Jordan in The Newsroom, the ‘love of his life’ so we’re over the moon for the lovely couple.

We’re not the only ones, however, with Alison’s co-star Olivia Munn writing “OMG!!!!! CONGRATS!!!” beneath the sweet photo.

The Geordie Shore star has made no secret of the fact she wanted to lose weight and felt uncomfortable with her body, but these latest snaps show just how hard the reality TV star has worked to achieve the shape and size she wanted.

Posting before and after shots to her Instagram account yesterday, the outspoken Geordie was inundated with congratulations from her legions of fans.

Like most of us, Charlotte had some problem areas she really wanted to target and even posted videos of her training sessions to show the effort she was putting into her transformation.

Well, it certainly looks like her hard work has paid off as the star has toned up and trimmed down due to determination and motivation.

When Hollywood’s most zen couple called time on their relationship in March last year, we thought if Gwynnie and Chris can’t make it work, what hope is there for the rest of us.

The couple who share two children with each other and married in 2003 always appeared rock solid which was why their split was met with such surprise.

The couple called the breakdown of their marriage a ‘conscious uncoupling’ (as you do) and 42-year-old Gwyneth has finally decided to open up about the break up.

Both Gwyneth and Coldplay frontman Chris appeared to handle the situation very delicately, but Gwnnie reveals that this wasn’t always the case, saying: “It’s painful, it’s difficult, it might be easier to say ‘I never want to see you again’, but what good does that do anyone?”

The Avengers star credits her ex-husband with putting her back together after the death of her father and it’s clear that the star will always have a place in her heart for the father of her two children, saying: “He just picked me up and he was so loving and patient through all my grieving. He has incredibly empathy when it comes to somebody’s pain.”

Does anyone else wish these two could give it another shot?

It looks like 2015 will be a busy year for actress Lindsay Lohan now that she’s become a big sister again!

Lindsay’s father Michael welcomed a new baby boy into the family on New Year’s Eve and Michael and his wife Kate Major have told US Weekly that they are ‘ecstatic’ about the new addition.

Lindsay’s rocky relationship with her father has been well documented over the years and while not commenting specifically on the arrival of  her new sibling, the Mean Girls star did take to Twitter to post a positive, upbeat message, saying: “xoxoxox grateful for my family, friends and a new year to come with lots of work!”

Michael, on the other hand, was a little more vocal about his son Logan’s arrival, saying: “What a way to bring in the New Year!”

We’re sure Lindsay and her other siblings are over the moon about having a little baby to dote on!

Twilight star Kristen Stewart had to run the gauntlet of paparazzi after touching down in LAX airport this week and it looks like the pressure definitely got to the star.

After posing for photos inside the terminal, Kristen, who had just returned from a trip to Hawaii with best friend, Alicia Cargile, was taunted by photographers and autograph hunters outside the terminal building.

The paparazzi seemed to jeer the star and hoped to elicit a reaction from the actress by referring to her failed relationship with actor Robert Pattinson and saying “Kristen, are you still in love with Rob?”

The 24-year-old actress appeared to say very little, but when one autograph hunter refused to leave the star alone and insisted she sign a photo of herself and Robert, it looks like Kristen’s patience finally wore thin and she was heard snapping “Get the f*ck out of my face.”

A bystander even intervened and was forced to tell the persistent autograph hunter: “Dude, she said no.”

It's not all glamour for these stars.

Lena Dunham, creator and star of the hit series Girls, has us all thinking she’s about to take a few important steps up the aisle by rocking what looks suspiciously like an engagement ring!

28-year-old Lena has been dating Jack Antonoff, lead guitarist of the band Fun, since 2012, but has said in the past that she doesn’t plan to marry until same-sex marriage has been legalised.

This is an issue especially close to Lena’s heart as her younger sister Grace happens to be gay and Lena understandable believes both her and her sister should be afforded the same rights when it comes to marriage.

Commenting on the matter back in October, Lena said: “We’re not against marriage, but I wanna wait until it’s something- my sister’s gay and it just doesn’t feel good to me to do something she can’t do.”

However, the talented writer and actress has us all wondering whether a festive proposal took place recently as she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while out and about in New York over the last week.

After almost twenty years of marriage, world- famous stand-up comedian and actor Chris Rock and wife Malaak Compton Rose have decided to file for divorce.

Malaak announced the sad news in a statement released at the weekend, saying: “After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways.”

Chris, who has won Grammy awards for his comedy albums, confirmed this wife’s statement through his lawyer Robert S. Cohen.

Chris' soon-to-be ex-wife, Malaak, is the founder and director of StyleWorks, a non-profit salon which provides free services for women leaving welfare and entering the workforce.

Determined to look on the bright side despite the sad news, Malaak said: “Being fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable makes me well aware of life’s blessings, even when faced with difficulties.”

The couple married in November 1996 and share two daughters together, 12-year-old Lola Simone and 10-year-old Zahra Savannah.

One of our favourite performers, the hugely talent musician Alicia Keys, welcomed her second child into the world this weekend and decided to share the news with her fans in the sweetest way possible!

Taking to Instagram, the overjoyed mum posted an image of two adorable baby footprints. Excuse us while we melt.

The snap also included the name, weight, birth date and birth time of her second son so we know that Genesis Ali Dean arrived on Saturday weighing a healthy 6 lbs 5 oz and that his beautiful mum Alicia couldn’t be happier.

The Empire State of Mind singer captioned the shot: “The joy of joy is joy! It’s a boy!! We are so grateful! #blessings.” Her excitement is almost contagious, right?!

Alicia and husband of four years music producer, Swiss Beatz, welcomed their first child Egypt Daoud Ibarr in 2010 and judging by the 33-year-old Grammy winner’s online post, she’s overjoyed at having given little Egypt a younger brother and playmate!

Egypt’s mum told Access Hollywood back in October that he was ‘so excited’ to meet his sibling so we ‘re sure the arrival of little Genesis may be his best Christmas present to date.

Congratulations to Alicia and her gorgeous family!
