Rumours are constantly swirling that a Westlife reunion might be in the works, but now Kian Egan has slammed any hope of them getting back together.

After an article appeared online saying that Louis Walsh was plotting a Westlife reunion, Kian took to Twitter to call the website out.

Sharing the article, he tweeted: "Sorry but again… NOT TRUE."

And well, his fans weren't too happy about it:

Ah, Kian. Not even one more tune?!

Nicky Byrne is performing in the semi-finals of the Eurovision tonight, and his former bandmates were more then supportive on social media today.

Mark Feehily, Shane Filan and Kian Egan all sent well wishes on Twitter as Nicky prepared for tonight.

Brian McFadden and Nadine Coyle also sent some good luck to Nicky in Stockholm:

And we wish him the best of luck, too!

Nicky Byrne has revealed that he never wanted to sing again after Westlife split.

The singer is getting ready to represent Ireland at the Eurovision but while talking on BBC Radio 2, he said that he never thought he'd go on after the band went their separate ways.

“We’d say for 14 years, we felt we didn’t finish it early. We were happy enough to see it go,” he told presenter Patrick Keilty.

“I never wanted to sing again after Westlife, to be honest with you, and I don’t mean that in a negative way,” he added.

However, things have changed from when he first left the boyband and now that he has started a solo career, he told Patrick that it's very different from the Westlife days – mostly because Simon Cowell isn't involved.

“Simon Cowell wasn’t screaming at us saying ‘we need to get this out by September’… Of course he did (scream), but we screamed back a few times as well."

Nicky is getting ready to travel to Stockholm next week to rehearse for his first Eurovision performance.

He will compete in the competition on May 12, with hopes to nab a spot in Saturday’s final and (fingers crossed) go on to win.

Since Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy decided to join forces to form Boyzlife, there has been a lot of mixed reactions from their former bandmates.

Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan have both had their say on the reunion, and now Shane Lynch has paid his two cents.

While speaking to the Irish Sun, Shane revealed that Boyzone and Westlife are in talks of going on tour together.

“I had put a tweet out about a year or so ago saying we should join forces. I wanted to see what people thought.

"Everyone was so positive, saying, ‘Oh my God, that would be such an amazing thing’,” he told the paper.

“They’re all the same fans really. I love Westlife, I love Boyzone, so we’re good to go in that respect.”

“At the moment, we’re trying to put things into place to be on the road before 2020," he said.

However, that totally seems to contradict what Nicky Byrne said last week, telling The Irish Daily Star that the rumours of the two bands coming together for a reunion were "never true."

Hmmm… it'll be interesting to see how this all pans out.

He kept his mouth super-glued shut at first, but now Nicky Byrne has opened up about Brain McFadden's Boyzlife.

While speaking to The Irish Daily Star, Nicky revealed that none of his former Westlife bandmates wanted to join the supergroup.

Brian previously insisted that the other members of Westlife and Boyzone were welcome to join in their tour, but Nicky says that that wasn't the case.

“I get on with Brian but the Boyzlife thing was probably sold, maybe by accident, by Brian and Keith thinking that maybe some of us would join, that the door was open for us to join but the reality of it is that none of the members of Westlife were ever going to join,” he told the paper.

Brian also hinted that Boyzlife might see a Westlife reunion, but Nicky said it was "never true."

"I mean that was just never true from our point of view. I wish them the best but it’s not for me,” he said.

The 2FM presenter also insisted that if Westlife ever got back together, it would be for a world tour rather than a tour around hotels in Ireland and England.

“I think if you’re going to have a laugh, tell some stories and sing some songs, why not?”

Last week, Kian Egan gave his two cents on Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy's Boyzlife tour, saying that the whole thing is "really aggrivating."

And now, another member of Westlife has opened up about the tour.

Nicky Byrne spoke out on his 2FM show saying, "I wish them all the best, but it's nothing to do with us."

Keeping it short and sweet, we're guessing Nicky didn't want to start any feuds, since Brian's ex-wife Vogue Williams said that Kian needs to "get a grip" with his comments.

Well, if there were ever hopes of a 5-piece Westlife reunion, they seem to be going down the toilet.

Vogue Williams has slammed “jealous” Kian Egan after he voiced his views on Boyzlife last week.

The Voice of Ireland mentor is clearly not one bit happy about the new band, and when speaking on The Big Breakfast recently, he said they were doing it all wrong.

“It’s not the right way to do it. I think it was pretty unfair on the fans to make them think that [the bands were uniting.]

“It’s a bit of an off one. You know, a member of Westlife who left the band after four years decides to use half the name for whatever it is they’re doing. If Westlife ever got back together again, it would be Weslife. It would be the four guys who stood in Croke Park the day Westlife ended."

However, Kian's words hit a nerve with Brian's ex-wife Vogue Williams, and in her most recent Sunday World column, she gave Kian a piece of her mind.

“It was actually six years and without doubt, the most successful period for the band, including 12 number one singles. Westlife only enjoyed a further two number one singles after Brian left.

“Kian was pretty vocal in his attack. Thinking Brian doesn’t have the right to use the Westlife name is frankly just plain stupid. I suspect that Kian may have a case of the green-eyed monster. In fairness to Kian, I’d be raging too if I hadn’t thought of the idea myself, seeing how successful it’s been."

Ouch! There seems to be no love lost there.

So our favourite Irish boybands are being reincarnated into a new act and while this may seem like the best news ever, but not everyone is happy about it.

Brian McFadden, formerly of Westlife, and Keith Duffy of Boyzone have joined forces and confirmed a Boyzlife tour which will involve performing some of the original groups' greatest hits.

However, Kian Egan is not particularly happy about it.

"From the perspective of someone who spent 15 years in Westlife, it was really aggravating,"  said the Voice judge to OK! Magazine.

"It was really unfair on the fans [because] everybody thought that this was what’s happening, you know that Westlife and Boyzone [were uniting].

"I was scratching my head when I first saw it. It’s a bit of an odd one – a member of Westlife who left the band after 4 years decides to use half the name for whatever it is that they’re doing."

But Brian hit back at the comments on the Late Late Show last night.

"I was actually in Westlife for more than 4 years but maths was never Kian’s thing in fairness.

"A lot of people probably did get confused because a lot of people probably thought we were doing a McBusted."

Keith added: "At the end of the day myself and Brian are after teaming up to do a show and talk about 20 years in the business.

The lads are kicking off their tour in London on October 16 before doing 11 more gigs around Ireland.

In perhaps the greatest news to hit our ears ever, Boyzone and Westlife are being reincarnated as Boyzlife and two of our fave members from each band are tied to the project.

Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy have confirmed a Boyzlife tour which will involve performing some of the original groups' greatest hits.

The tour, which is being funded by the Hilton hotel group, launched today in London and the lads seemed excited about the venture.

While there is reportedly potential for other members of the original bands to join, Brian admitted that for now it would involved just two of the lads.

"People are getting confused thinking that with Boyzlife we have started a new supergroup together.

"But this is me and Keith's show. It's called Boyzlife. There's nothing to stop the rest of the guys pairing up and doing it, but for us this was our way."

The pair revealed that the show will involve performing hits from both groups but also chatting to the audience about their lives and careers to date.

Over the years there has been constant rumours about Westlife and Boyzone forming a supergroup… and now Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy are creating their own.

Boyzlife will star the two former boyband singers in a project that is funded by the Hilton hotel group.

The men will make every Westlife and Boyzone fan dreams come true as the pair are going to take to the stage to perform the biggest hits from each group.

Brian also admitted that while nothing in set in stone, he'd love the other lads to join him.

”We all had a chat, the lads. We said it would be amazing. Not even just performing together, but can you imagine the craic? he told The Sun

“Nine of us Irish lads on a tour bus together, going round the world together. It would be absolute carnage. We all get on so well so you never know.

“We would have so much fun on tour. We could end up adding more people to the next one. Right now this is about me and Keith but the door is always open.”

Westlife/Eurovision fans, you're in for a treat this May.

Just last week, we reported that singer Nicky Byrne was in talks to represent Ireland at this year's Eurovision, and it seems the news is indeed true.

RTÉ confirmed the news this morning, announcing that Nicky would be heading to Sweden in the hopes of winning with his entry, Sunlight.

The song was co-written by Nicky and Wayne Hector, the mastermind behind a whopping seven of Westlife's hits, including Flying Without Wings, Swear It Again and World Of Our Own.

Award-winning composer Ronan Hardiman was also on board.

"I am honoured RTÉ have chosen me and believe in this song like I do," Nicky said today.

"Like many of us, I have grown up watching The Eurovision Song Contest... I have a great memory as a nine year old, of dancing around our sitting room in a tri-colour sweatshirt when Johnny Logan lifted the trophy in 1987.

"This year I go one step further, and actually walk on that stage to represent my country."

For the last several years, RTÉ has used the "Eurosong" format to decide on its annual entrant.

"We have a long and proud history with Eurovision, but we’ve had mixed results over the last few years," RTÉ's John McHugh said of the decision to change tacks.

Nicky will perform Sunlight live on The Ray D'Arcy Show on Saturday February 13, before heading to Stockholm in May.

It's fair to say we all have little obsessions, whether it's with a band, a singer or even just going shopping; everyone has a guilty little pleasure.

But when that guilty little pleasure comes between your marriage, it should be pretty clear that you've gone too far.

That's what happened to a woman, Kirsty, who appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show, and after many years, replaced her husband with her obsession for Westlife

The couple even named their children after band members, Shane Filan and Kian Egan. But her husband, Adam, said he's had enough.

Adam told Jeremy: "I'm tired of being the doormat. I've had enough of Westlie."

He even admitted that his wife was so obsessed with the Irish band that she said she wished Shane Filan was the father of her children.

"I'm obsessed, I've got an obsession with them," Kirsty said.

But then Jeremy had a special surprise for the mother-of-two and played her a video message from Shane, who invited her to one of his gigs next year.

Kirsty then proceeded to go into meltdown mode but made a big error when Jeremy asked her a question.

The host thought that he might have patched things up with the couple – as did everyone else – but when he asked, "Then you're probably going to go back to the hotel and have copious quantities of sex.. You want sex [with your husband], yeah?"

To which Kirsty replied, "Well Shane would be better." *facepalm*
