Don't get us wrong, we all love a bit of fashion and beauty. AND yes, we definitely all wish we could look good all the time – but it can be such a pain. #thestruggleisreal

Well now it doesn't have to be! These oh-so cool fashion apps can help you with everything from organising your outfits to getting the best inspiration for any occasion.

So without further ado… we bring you our top five fashion apps – to have you looking good in no time.

1. PS Dept

For those of you who don't already have a professional on speed dial (almost all of us, so), PS Dept gives users access to fashion stylists 24/7. Whether you are looking to get advice on a full outfit or just one item, you can browse through the app and get all the inspiration and advice you need. The stylists you talk to come from major fashion brands such as Chloe, Net-A-Porter and Stella McCartney to name a few.

2. Like To Know It

This one was created in conjunction with everyone's favourite app – Instagram! The app makes it possible to track down the most chic pieces you come across on your Instagram feed. All you have to do is sign up to Like I Know It and whenever you 'like' a picture you receive an email giving you all the details about where to buy the clothes that are in the post. Easy!

3. Mallzee

This app is perfect for organising and curating your favourite pieces. You can differentiate your clothes to go from work outfits to girls night outfits and much more. If only it was that easy to organise our messy closets! Another great feature of the app is if you save your favourite items and they go on sale you will immediately be notified.

4. Keep Shopping

This is your one-stop universal shopping cart. It allows you to shop from any brand or shop in the world and pay for it all in one go. Gone are the days of trekking around shopping centres and tirelessly scrolling through pages and pages of shops online to find the perfect piece. It's all done for you here!

5. Style Kick

This app is the best place to get all your fashion inspiration in one go. Browse through thousands of outfits for any occasion and you are guaranteed to come across something you will love. The app also recommends outfits and pieces for you to shop based on your own personal style and interests. You can also chat to other fashion lovers and bloggers to get the best advice.

September is the best month of the year for fashionistas –  it's when brands reveal their looks for the season ahead and upcoming trends are sussed out. The month begins with a week of catwalk shows in New York, followed by London, Milan, and now Paris.

Off the catwalk though, style bloggers and trendsetters are making their own stamp, with some amazing street style looks. Of course, they don't always get it right. Here's our pick of the best and worst outfits we've seen so far…

The ones who got it right…

1. Blue steel
This look is totally accessible and easily copied – we love the loose denim shirt. The cream and blue jeans are a great addition too – a good twist on the double denim look!

2. Summer sun
Just look at that bright yellow skirt! We wonder if this poor girl had to stand over that vent all day so the fabric was always casually billowing. Not sure we'd have that level of commitment, but we love the outfit!

3. Pinstripe perfect
This is a great smart-casual look, with some relaxed touches like a half-tucked shirt and a double cuff on those leather-look jeans. Simple, relaxed, elegant.

4. Monochromatic
We WANT that Comme des Garçons tee! It would look equally stunning with skinny jeans, if you're not in the mood to wear a giant leather skirt!

And the ones who got it VERY wrong…

1. Bad hair day
This look is baffling from top-to-toe. We understand that anything goes when you're a super slick fashion blogger, but was afro/mohawk combination really necessary?! As for the long gingham shirt… well… no.

2. Short shorts
Ah yes, I'll just team this bath mat/see-through jumper with my dad's swimming trunks, and there we have it… Stunning.

3. TMI
We love a good backless dress or top, but this is just a bit too much sideboob for comfort!

4. That Seventies Show
Wait… are flares a thing now? Does this mean we have to root out the pair we wore on non-uniform day in sixth class? Please god, no.

Jessica Alba is a very busy woman with a successful business and two little girls to care for but she always manages to look fantastic and we love her style.

Her casual style is always classic with a touch of trend, for instance this bright peach blazer with classic black trousers or the denim jacket over a vintage-style polka dot dress.

Her red carpet looks are no different as we see her pair a beautiful understated black lace dress with a pop of hot pink lipstick.

This peach dress has a very old Hollywood style to it but the colour definitely brings it up to date.

Wherever she goes, whatever she does, whether it’s grocery shopping or taking the dog for a walk, Dita von Teese always looks amazing.

Don’t believe us? Just try to find a bad photo. You won’t, because there are none.

Dita’s street fashion combines cute vintage and punky retro whilst her red carpet looks always remind us of that old Hollywood glamour.
