Sick of the same pubs, the same people, conversations, bus routes and seemingly never-ending days that blur into each other?

You, my friend, are not alone.

And the answer? Travel.

Travelling alone might seem like this big, daunting, terrifying thing – and in this day and age, no-one could blame you.

But what about those visions of sitting on a side-street cafe in Paris having your Instagram-worthy morning croissant and black coffee?

Or trekking through the Grand Canyon or swimming in the sea on one of the many Greek islands?

I can see the crystal-clear sparking water in my mind as I write this.

So what are you waiting for?If you find yourself single and your mates are doing their thing then don't sit at home and wait for someone to be free.

Pack a suitcase and be that free-spirited person you always wanted to be – life is short, right?

The essential tips for travelling alone are important and as follows:

1. Screw the itinerary (kinda)

It might sound cool and spontaneous to just go wth the flow and not plan anything but when you're flying solo, it ain't so clever.

Do you really wanna arrive in a foreign place and, tired and with no idea how to get around and have no bed sorted for the night?

Didn't think so.

Always have accommodation arranged and a rough idea of what city is to come while still keeping your plans loose.

Better to safe than sorry, right?

2. Be careful with the booze

All-you-can-drink-in-two-hours might sound tempting and if you're flanked by mates then go for it.

But when you have to watch your own back, maybe skip Margarita Hour.

I'm not saying you can't enjoy a glass of local vino or try out he popular beers in whatever city you're in, but don't get hammered.

It's easy to lose your bearings, your possessions or become a target for crime.

Also, nursing hangovers alone is plain old depressing tbh.

3. Curiosity killed the cat

A little mystery never hurt anyone, right?

While it might seem like you've known the people you've met on your travels for years as you laugh at dinner together but they are also strangers.

So when it comes to talking about where you're staying, keep scutum.

Ditto on where you're planning to go – be breezy and vague.

No-one needs to know you're every move and the info might end up falling into the hands of someone, let's say….undesirable.

4. Don't take everything and the kitchen sink with you

You don't need to bring that much shit.

One of everything is enough – are you really gonna wear three pairs of runners and four pairs of heeled boots?

Obvs not.

And remember that you're gonna be lugging all this stuff around with you so if you don't mind carrying your entire wardrobe on your back, go for it.

This is your time to be whoever you want to be, approach anyone you want and not having to worry about seeing them again.

The world is full of interesting people and you – go forth and meet them.

And think of all the funny stories you'll have to tell your mates in the pub when you're back not to mention the KILLER Instagram feed that will have everyone frothing at the mouth with jealousy.

Now we're off to buy some tickets…

If anyone knows how to tease his legions of fans, it's Harry Styles.

The former One Direction singer sent his Instagram followers into a tailspin in recent days with a series of uploads which suggested that details on his solo endeavour were not too far away.

And today, he finally put them out of their misery.

Taking to social media, the 23-year-old shared a sultry photo of himself with the title of his new material, and the date fans can get their hands on it.

Alongside the photo which has amassed 468,000 likes in less than an hour, Harry wrote: "Sign of the times. 7 April 17."

And Instagram lost it.

"You finally posted!" wrote one fan, alluding to Harry's decision to share three blank uploads in recent days.

"My fragile heart can't handle this," gushed another while someone else added: "This is a dream."

Nope ladies, it's happening…

Harry Styles recently revealed that he will be dropping some brand new, solo tunes on April 7.

The One Direction star released a promo video for the new sounds, which gave away the date at the end.

Now, Saturday Night Live has tweeted that the star will be joining them in studio on April 15, so we can expect to hear all about Harry's new music then.

Musical guests usually perform two songs, suggesting that Harry is likely to unveil two tracks from his upcoming album.

The star also posted a series of cryptic white boxes to his Instagram, and added link in his bio to his mysterious website.

We can't wait to hear what Harry's new music is like, with NME reporting that the new album takes inspiration from the likes of Queen and David Bowie.

Quite different from his 1D sound, then.

Oh, and while we have you; don't forget to have your say in the inaugural SHEmazing Awards this May! It's time to vote, and you can do it right here!

She's walked in all the major fashion shows and been in many famous magazines, but it looks like Suki Waterhouse has another career in mind.

The model made her singing debut last night as she shared her first single with her fans on Twitter.

Suki wrote: "I put out my 1st song today. It's called 'Brutally' & means so much to be featured in @lenadunham's #womenofthehour."

And fans really seemed to like her new path as they replied to her tweet with high praises.

One fan wrote in response: "Yay queen! So proud of you!" While another tweeted, "Suki your voice is soooo good!!!"

Well, we didn't see that coming!

The Saturdays have been part of the music scene for a while now, and even though they're on a little break, their fans still love them just as much.

So, it's safe to say that they all went into meltdown when Una Healy announced she had some news yesterday.

Fans began to wonder what Una's big news was and many speculated that she is leaving the band.

Big news coming this week! I can’t wait to share it with you all

However, that's far from the truth.

Speaking on Facebook Live, Una told her fans that's she's going solo – but that doesn't mean it's over with The Saturdays.

"I've been working behind-the-scenes, very quietly, putting together my own solo album for the last two years," she said.

"This is not a departure from The Saturdays. It's just like, we're all working on different things, taking time out. The band has not disbanded whatsoever."

Now that that's out of the way, we're excited to hear Una's album!

Irish band Kodaline have said that the song they penned with One Direction’s Harry Styles could end up on his solo album!

The All I Want hitmakers revealed at Glastonbury that Harry is a big fan of their work, and was keen to hook up with them in the studio.

“It was really strange how they came about,” the band’s singer Steve Garrigan said.

“He just turned up to a show, and he likes our music. We had a bit of free time and so we went to the studio and wrote a song. It was good fun.”

Steve then let the cat of the bag that Harry might be going SOLO – as in, splitting from the 1D lads!

He said, “It could be on his album if he does something, but I don’t know. Nothing is set in stone.”

Rumours have been circulating for a while that Harry was planning on a break-away from the band, and it could only be a matter of time before he goes out on his own!

Watch this space!
